Responsibility:
<ul>
<li>Responsible for coordinating vehicle testing, analysis and reporting of vehicle data, competitive benchmarking reporting, Electrical Demand Energy (EDE).</li>
<li>Prepare vehicles for testing, including vehicle updates, instrumentation and submitting test requests for EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) and environmental test cells.</li>
<li>Responsible for leading aero/thermal development and optimization for fuel economy, range and performance for a vehicle and will be involved with proactive planning and tracking of vehicle validation for program milestones.</li>
<li>Support / lead vehicle instrumentation builds, checkout of vehicle, Test Planning and conduct clear productive tests (drive cell and road trips) and proactively lead issues resolution, identify solutions, and recommend actions.</li>

Qualifications:

<li>Bachelor of Science Engineering Degree (Mechanical, Electrical or Aerospace) from an ABET accredited University.</li>
<li>Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word</li>
<li>Must have a strong hands-on background, with a passion for vehicle level testing and be able to interface with many groups within the company.</li>
<li>Excellent problem-solving skills.</li>
<li>Must be able to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.</li>
<li>Must be able to lead and manage Suppliers.</li>
<li>Some travel required to Supplier and Corporate Engine/Transmission / Vehicle Assembly Plants -- including Canada &amp; Mexico, off site testing facilities as well as domestically to support press events.</li>

Responsibilities
Greet and assist passengers in navigating through, and around the airport. Direct taxicabs to any and all persons requesting one. Dispatch a sufficient number of taxicabs to the terminal or to other loading points and the terminal. Assist passengers in acquiring their luxury limousines. Provide information to passengers who need assistance in getting to other forms of ground transportation.

<li>Greet passengers at taxi curbside in Ground Transportation area of airport and offer them assistance or directions. Information provided to passengers must be accurate.</li>
<li>Direct passengers to the appropriate taxi/limo service.</li>
<li>Ensure that a sufficient number of taxicabs are available for the traveling passengers, and dispatch taxicabs to various loading points at terminal.</li>
<li>Communicate with drivers, co-workers, and supervisors and address any concerns.</li>
<li>Write factual reports regarding items that deviate from normal operation.</li>
<li>Order luxury limousines from Ground Transportation when needed, and log information regarding limousines on limo logs.</li>
<li>Identify and report any safety issues immediately to supervisor.</li>
<li>Clean and maintain surrounding work area (to include glass cleaning, and sweeping of trash). Clean break room (to include empting trash, vacuuming, wiping down of table).</li>
<li>Complete other duties may be assigned.</li>
</ul>
 
Qualifications
<ul>
<li>Must be 18 years of age or older at time of hire.</li>
<li>Knowledge of metro area is desirable.</li>
<li>Customer service experience preferred. </li>
<li>Prior airport experience is preferred.</li>
<li>Must have an excellent attendance and arrive to work on time when scheduled and have access to reliable transportation. </li>
</ul>

Availability to Work: Special shift requirements, if any, will vary depending on a location's hiring needs. If applicable, availability to work 2nd shift, 3rd shift and/or week-ends may be required.

License Requirement: The individual will only be required to have and maintain a valid state-issued driver’s license, with a current address and acceptable driving record, if the individual is expected to be able to drive a company vehicle or drive on company business.

Language skills: Must be able to read and write English exceptionally well. Ability to communicate effectively with passengers, drivers, and co-workers on socio-economical levels. Ability to read, and comprehend simple instructions, and short correspondence.

Materials and Equipment Directly Used in Role: Two way radios, various report forms, information logs, brochures, pens and pencils.
Physical Demands and Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; talk and listen. Employees are regularly exposed to outside weather conditions including snow storms, and extreme heat. This position is 100% outside work!
Employees work in and around potentially dangerous traffic situations, and employees are to be safety conscious at all times. SUMMARY
The Landside Operations Specialist II, reporting to the Landside Operations Supervisor, is responsible for the fast and accurate processing of parking lot tickets ensuring the proper collection of fees, while complying with department rules and regulations. The Specialist also is responsible for working the Ground Transportation booth, which assists passengers in obtaining ground transportation services to local destinations. This position differs from the Specialist I, in that the incumbent is a seasoned Specialist I and is called on to perform the Supervisor’s Role, when one is on leave or absent for their shift. Enforce the rules and regulations governing Ground Transportation services. The Specialist II works in a collection booth, meeting and greeting parking lot users, and collects parking fees appropriate for the vehicle and stay. The Specialist also works the Ground Transportation booth assisting customers in obtaining proper services. The Specialist may work a designated shift or a rotating shift. The position provides 24/7 coverage. The specialist II can perform the duties of a Supervisor, when required.
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs the duties of a GTO supervisor, when one is absent and on an infrequent basis. When not performing as a Supervisor, the Landside Operations Specialist II, performs the same duties as the Specialist I.
 
Landside Operations Specialist I Duties:
 
Collects and processes parking fees, while ensuring the amount is correct.
 
Greet customers in a professional manner and provide accurate information to customers regarding Ground Transportation services.
 
May provide basic information to customers as to directions and destinations.
 
Perform License Plate Inventory as needed.
 
As required, assists with express lanes, office duties, stock room, semi-annual taxi inspections, collections of taxi and charter monthly fees, and processing of ACE employees.
 
Performs other duties as assigned to meet overall objective of the position and the department in support of the CCAA Mission.
 
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
The position requires a thorough knowledge CCAA LO parking regulations and fee structures for a variety of users. The incumbent must be able to use the computerized equipment for determining, collecting, and recording fee collection. The Specialist should have a basic knowledge of directions and destinations to assist users in navigating their way from the airport environment.
 
ABILITIES
Requires the ability to communicate orally clearly and concisely with Landside Operations users. Must be able to handle parking fee or related disputes with customers who may be unfamiliar with the CCAA fee structures or regulations. 
 
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work is performed indoors and outdoors where some safety considerations exist from proximity to moving cars and trucks and environmental considerations.
 
Requirements:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
The position typically requires 1-2 years’ experience; a high school diploma is required.
 
Must have been employed with CCAA for at least one (1) year.
 
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Requires a valid driver’s license.
 
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Requires the ability to function indoor in an office environment and outdoors engaged in a tollbooth or extending standing while working at the taxi booth. Work is of a sedentary nature while working in the booth and one of standing and minor walking when working the Taxi Ground Transportation booth. Requires ambulatory ability to move to different work locations and to bend, stoop, climb, and reach. Requires arm, hand, and finger dexterity to and use a computer keyboard and other office equipment. Requires the ability to wear a variety of protective equipment and work in areas with temperature variations. Requires near and far visual acuity to observe moving vehicles and people read written materials.
