The Wilkinson Public Library (San Miguel County Public Library District #1) is located in spectacular southwestern Colorado, known for its stunning scenic beauty and a rich, colorful history. From the dramatic San Juan Mountains and Telluride’s world-class skiing in the east to the mesas, farms, and high-desert ranches to the west, San Miguel County (pop. 8,082, 1289 sq. mi.) is geographically and socioeconomically diverse, a state and national treasure. A five-member board of trustees, each appointed by the San Miguel County Commissioners oversees the library district.
Currently, the District has a strong financial position. The 2025 budget anticipates $4.48M in general fund expenditures, supporting 23.35 FTE, and capital expenditures of $1.76M. Projected yearend (2025) fund balances are GF $1.2M and Capital $1.8M. The Colorado State Library ranks the WPL first in the state for per capita library visits and circulation, and third in the state for per capita program attendance.
This career opportunity is available with the scheduled retirement (late-March, 2025) of the library director, who has served as director for nearly 11 years. The library director reports to the board of trustees and oversees a management team, comprised of the managers of the library’s four key divisions: business office, operations, youth services, and public services.
A four-year degree in a relevant field of study; at least five years of progressively responsible experience in library administration; knowledge of library best practices, trends, issues, and industry software and databases; or any equivalent combination of education and experience are all required.  About Win - Women in Need Win is dedicated to breaking the cycle of homelessness by providingtransitional and supportive shelters for women-led families. Manyof our families have escaped domestic violence and strive to keeptheir families together and safe. Win’s Income Building Programsupports our clients by facilitating their transition fromunemployment to employment and helping those already employed toimprove their circumstances. This includes increasing wages, movingfrom part-time to full-time work, securing health benefits, andtransitioning from off-the-books to on-the-books positions.Additionally, Win offers financial literacy workshops to equip ourclients with essential skills such as budgeting, bill paying, andbasic fiscal management. Win’s current operating budget isapproximately $150 million, with $14 million raised privatelythrough private and corporate funding, supporting programs andservices including the Income Building Program and Camp Win.
Purpose of the Opportunity The Manager of Individual Gifts is responsible for identifying,cultivating, qualifying, and soliciting mid-level ($1,000-$4,999)donors to raise significant revenue for Win. Reporting to theSenior Director, Major Gifts, the Individual Giving officer managesaspects of the individual donor programs (events, communicationscontent, solicitation) to raise funds and donor commitments insupport of Win programs. Key Accountabilities
Donor Relations and Cultivation • Manage portfolio of donors supporting from $1,000-$4,999,including annual giving, from communications and engagement tosolicitation and stewardship. • Coordinate donor experiences involving Development and Programteams, including strategy development and preparation of briefingdocuments, formal proposals, and logistical support. • Oversee the acknowledgement and recognition processes formid-level donors, ensuring immediate, tailored, and accuratecorrespondence to donors, and on-going appreciation asappropriate.
Research and Metrics • Regularly provide reporting on mid-level financial progress as itrelates to overall goal. • Work closely with the Director of Development Operations todevelop systems and methodology to identify/qualify new Windonors. • Analyze donor data and fundraising metrics to assess performance,identify trends and share key learnings to inform strategicdecision-making.
 Data-Driven Approach • Ensure the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date donor recordsin Salesforce, Win’s CRM database, with a focus on data hygiene.Work with the Development staff to ensure fulfillment andimplementation. • Track and report activities and progress towards goals throughthe fiscal year. Events and Collaboration • Participate in planning and staffing specific fundraisingevents. • Other duties as assigned, including ongoing support of appeals,campaigns, donor communications, and marketing.

Position Summary:
The Jacksonville Symphony Advancement Department raises fundsthrough donations from individuals, corporations, foundations, thepublic sector, and special events to support artistic andeducational programming and general operating expenses. TheDirector of Major Gifts will be responsible for increasing majorgifts from both individual donors and corporate sponsors, on alocal, regional, and national level. The Major Gifts Officer willwork to increase support by cultivating and stewarding effectiverelationships by maintaining an active fundraising schedule thatincludes strategic visits, and ongoing cultivation andsolicitation. They will maintain a portfolio of current andpotential donors, with six-figure plus capacity, excluding boardand honorary board members. The Director will also prepareproposals, grants, sponsorship agreements, make solicitations andcomplete all necessary follow-up to secure support. Responsibilities:

POSITION OVERVIEW
SEO saw rapid and unprecedented expansion during the pandemic,prompting the need to grow and redesign our C-suite. Over the lastthree years, we have welcomed three new Executive Committee membersto oversee critical functions within the organization— SEOProfessional Programs, SEO Scholars Program, and nationaloperations. In the same period, we have also doubled theorganization's workforce and budget, expanded SEO's regionalfootprints in North Carolina and Miami, and opened a second site inOakland, CA, to accommodate our growing Scholars program in SanFrancisco.
The SEO Chief Advancement Officer is responsible for strategicdevelopment planning and activities supporting the NYC SEO Scholarsprogram and SEO general program/operating support, representing 40%of organization's $51M budget with the goal to grow support by 50%over next 3 years. A particular focus will be on nationalfoundations, corporate donors, and major individual donors. The CAOis expected to be a front-line national relationship builder andmajor donor solicitor, managing a portfolio of prospects, andsupervising an approximately nine-member development team.
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) William Goodloe,the CAO will be a leader in lifting the current org-widedevelopment efforts to new levels of success by broadening ways toattract and more deeply engage with national foundations,corporations, and individual philanthropists over time – to becomestrategic sources of revenue. The CAO will also work closely withSEO’s professional programs and its Marketing &amp; Communicationsteam to utilize SEO’s legacy of impact closing opportunity gaps toincrease national brand recognition as a whole. The CAO will serveon the Executive Committee of SEO’s Executive Leadership Team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Fundraising:
<ul>
<li>Drive a strategy to raise roughly an additional $10 - 15m+ inannual revenue for SEO general program support and Scholars programsupport from a variety of philanthropic sources (annual giving,major gifts, corporate and foundation relations, alumni) andspecial events (an annual gala that consistently generates $8m+ inunrestricted funds and several smaller events focused on theScholars program and general SEO support).</li>
<li>Leverage SEO’s existing ecosystem and activate SEO’s untappednetworks within the spaces where the organization currentlyoperates, including private equity and corporate partnerorganizations.</li>
<li>In collaboration with the CEO, senior staff and Board ofDirectors, develop long-range strategies to significantly increasephilanthropic giving and serve as the key strategist for specific“asks.”</li>
<li>Build and streamline a development model that accounts formajor donor funding from various avenues, including those ofpartner and expansion offices, to ensure coordination and maximizedonor engagement.</li>
<li>Lead the positioning of SEO for further national expansion byestablishing and deepening relationships with all relevant internaland external partners/ constituents.</li>
<li>Monitor prospect portfolios for the CEO, staff, board, andexpansion offices. Serve as an advisor and collaborator to theexpansion offices.</li>
<li>Craft compelling cases for support of unrestricted funds thatmaximize relationships with current donors and cultivate andconvert new donors.</li>
<li>Serve as a front-line cultivator and solicitor. Cultivate andsteward donors; make significant requests for support from majordonors, board members, foundations, and corporations.</li>
<li>Ensure comprehensive, timely, and innovative stewardship of allgifts.</li>
<li>In collaboration with Development Team, ensure the continuedsuccess of the annual SEO awards dinner, securing sponsors andhonorees for the organization’s biggest fundraising night of theyear.</li>

COMPENSATION &amp; BENEFITS&nbsp;
The benchmarked base salary range for this position is$250,000 - $300,000.
 This executive position also qualifies for SEO’s annual ManagementIncentive Plan (MIP) bonus based on individual and organizationalperformance.
