Teaching is&nbsp;onsite&nbsp;(in clinical setting) with one of our clinical partners.
Schedule: most commonly&nbsp;12-hour rotations (7a-7p)&nbsp;for three to four consecutive days.
Complex Adult Health course overview:
The focus is on the needs of adult patients and their families regarding health promotion and management of conditions that require acute and chronic care. The nursing process is used in the discussion of health alterations affecting selected life processes. Students continue their professional skill development as members of the health team.

In this role, the clinical instructor:
<ul>
<li>Implements the College's philosophy, curriculum, program outcomes, and course objectives through clinical teaching and service to the College, community, health system and profession</li>
<li>Assumes responsibility for all autonomous aspects of individual teaching assignments</li>
<li>Plans clinical experiences for and provides direct supervision and evaluation of nursing students delivering nursing care to an individual or group of individuals</li>
<li>Evaluates and provides documented feedback to student on level of performance based on course objectives</li>
<li>Is available for remediation of students as required or needed</li>
<li>Orients and maintains current knowledge related to agency/clinical policies, procedures, and expectations with the assistance of the agency/clinical personnel</li>
<li>Develops and posts written clinical assignments consistent with student's knowledge base, skill competency and individual learning needs</li>
<li>Grades homework, quizzes, tests, lab assignments, clinical paperwork and other written work in a timely manner</li>

Qualifications

Chamberlain Visiting Professor Position - Campus
In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected compensation rate for this position is between $1,120 per assignment to $7,245 per assignment, depending on the credit hour assigned to the course.

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Echocardiography Technician to join our innovative and growing cardiology practice, serving the Dallas and Rockwall areas. This is a great opportunity to have a role in an outpatient environment with a friendly schedule supportive of work/life balance.
As a core part of the diagnostic imaging team, this role is primarily responsible for performing high-quality echocardiograms and providing essential data to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular conditions. You’ll work alongside leading cardiologists using state-of-the-art ultrasound systems in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

Essential Functions:

<li>Perform diagnostic-quality echocardiograms, including 2D, M-mode, and Doppler studies. </li>
<li>Perform stress echocardiograms and other specialized cardiac ultrasound procedures. </li>
<li>Prepare and position patients for exams, obtaining relevant history and explaining procedures. </li>
<li>Operate, maintain, and calibrate ultrasound and echocardiography equipment. </li>
<li>Analyze and capture images of cardiac structures and function, identifying abnormalities. </li>
<li>Document exam findings in the EMR and transmit images via PACS for physician interpretation. </li>
<li>Create preliminary reports with findings in PACS. </li>
<li>Collaborate with cardiologists and clinical team members to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes. </li>
<li>Monitor patients during procedures and respond to any urgent needs or complications. </li>
<li>Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with regulatory standards. </li>
<li>Educate patients about procedures and follow-up requirements as needed. </li>
</ul>
Skills and Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Cardiovascular Technology, or a related field. </li>
<li>Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) certification required. </li>
<li>Current BLS / CPR certification. </li>
<li>Current ACLS certification. </li>
<li>Minimum 1–2 years of echocardiography experience preferred. </li>
<li>Strong technical understanding of cardiovascular anatomy and physiology. </li>
<li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with both patients and staff. </li>
<li>Proficient with Electronic Medical Records, PACS, and DICOM viewing systems. </li>
<li>Must be capable of lifting patients and standing for extended periods. </li>
<li>High degree of professionalism, initiative, and attention to detail. </li>

Schedule:
<ul>
<li>Monday-Thursday, 8 AM - 5 PM, and Friday, 8 AM - 3 PM. No weekends, holidays, or after hours, or call responsibilities. </li>
