Detailed responsibilities: * TEAM RESPONSE - Work in conjunction with Rapid Response Paramedics to respond with multiple teams across the hospital complex to include, but not limited to, the DR. Heart team, the Stroke Alert Team, the DART Team, and the Sepsis Response Team; provide essential rapid communication and act as a patient care advocate/ liaison between multiple departments to decrease patient mortality and improve patient outcomes\t\n * TRANSPORT - Transport patients to and from UNMH utilizing ILS measures to ensure patient and provider safety. Under guidance of medical direction, perform patient assessment and provide necessary interventions. Cardiac Stress Technician
The Cardiac Stress Technician will work under the direct supervision of site physician, performing various professional and administrative duties related to cardiac stress testing. This includes but not limited to patient preparation, administration of exercise and pharmacological stress tests, and application of BLS measures to patients when directed.
Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Performs cardiac stress testing (nuclear and non-nuclear) under the supervision of the onsite registered nurse and physician.</li>
<li>Duties include: clinical chart preparation; vital signs; EKG performance and monitoring during stress testing, reviews current medication list, past medical history, social history, and review of systems.</li>
<li>Applies heart monitors and instructs patients on their use.</li>
<li>Enters data in the EMR.</li>
<li>Provides patient education.</li>
<li>Other activities and responsibilities as directed.</li>

Job Requirements:
