A specialized role is available for an experienced Interventional Radiology Technician in a dynamic clinical setting. This contract opportunity involves working primarily in an IR-focused combo lab, assisting with diagnostic and interventional radiology as well as cardiology procedures. The position requires expertise in scrub and circulate techniques, supporting complex procedures with advanced medical equipment.

Qualifications & Desired Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant Interventional Radiology experience, with approximately 90% IR-focused skills
- Certifications required: ACLS, BCLS, ARRT or RCISP
- Strong ability to scrub and circulate during IR and cardiology procedures
- Experience with telemetry and EKG lead placement preferred
- Advanced certifications such as ARRT Advanced Cert, RCES, or RCIS with medical experience are a plus
Responsibilities & Duties
- Assist providers during diagnostic and interventional radiology and cardiology procedures in a high-acuity unit
- Perform scrub and circulatory duties in IR/cath lab and cardiology settings
- Support emergent and urgent cardiology and IR procedures, adhering to callback protocols
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure smooth procedural flow
- Comply with strict scheduling and on-unit start protocols, including mandatory dimensions training on Mondays
Schedule & Hours
- 40-hour workweek, Monday to Friday, 07:30 AM to 4:00 PM
- On-call twice a week on weekdays (4 PM to 7:30 AM) and one weekend call every third weekend
- No float requirements or holiday RTO allowed
Work Environment & Equipment
- Utilize cutting-edge equipment including GE MAC Lab, Philips iFR/IVUS, Canon and GE Labs, Angio Jet, Pneumbra, EKOS, Inari, and more
- Scrubs provided on-site, with a supportive and structured orientation process
This contract opportunity spans 13 to 20 weeks and welcomes both local professionals and travelers. Candidates must be prepared to start directly on the unit each Monday and complete required training immediately.
