<li>Collect and analyze pertinent health related information</li>

<li>Implement plan of care formulated by physician and Resident Care Director</li>
<li>Utilize safe and appropriate techniques/nursing skills in providing resident care</li>
<li>Report pertinent changes in patient’s condition to the Resident Care Director and/or physician</li>
<li>Report changes in patient status to the office such as hospitalization, discharges, and physician appointments</li>
<li>Provide accurate and timely documentation consistent with plan of care</li>
<li>Assess and provides resident and family education and information pertinent to diagnosis of plan of care</li>
<li>Communicate physician’s feedback with patient and/or family</li>
<li>Follow established guidelines concerning the storage of drugs</li>
<li>Be familiar with the meaning and usage of common medical abbreviations, symbols, and terms relative to the administration of medications as used by the community, pharmacists, and physicians</li>

Are you a compassionate nursing professional dedicated to helping children heal and thrive? Camber Children’s Mental Health is seeking a Charge Nurse (RN) to join our caring, multidisciplinary team. In this vital role, you will provide direct patient care, lead and mentor staff, and ensure a safe, supportive environment for children and adolescents receiving mental health treatment.
What You’ll Do:
<ul>
<li>Supervise and coordinate patient care activities on your assigned shift</li>
<li>Lead and mentor licensed and non-licensed nursing staff</li>
<li>Participate in staff development and performance evaluation</li>
<li>Provide direct, compassionate care to children and adolescents</li>
<li>Represent management and administration in their absence</li>
<li>Monitor program safety and lead crisis response as needed</li>
</ul>
What We Offer:

<li>Starting Pay: $32.50–$37.00 per hour, based on experience and education</li>
<li>$2,500 Sign-On Bonus paid in four installments during your first year</li>
<li>Shift Differentials: +$3.00/hour for weekday evenings/overnights, +$5.00/hour for weekend evenings/overnights</li>

What We’re Looking For:
<ul>
<li>Education: Associates degree in nursing required. BSN preferred.</li>
<li>Licensure: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Kansas</li>
<li>Experience: At least 2 years of psychiatric nursing experience or ANCC certification in psychiatric nursin</li>
<li>Must be at least 20 years old to apply. Pre-employment drug screen, physical, and background check required.</li>
