The USU Department of Medical and Clinical Psychology (MPS), F. Edward Hébert School of Medicine (SOM), in Bethesda, Maryland, invites applicants for the position of Assistant or Associate Professor (tenure-eligible track). MPS has a doctoral program in Clinical Psychology accredited by the American Psychological Association. Duties:&nbsp;The incumbent will serve as an Assistant or Associate Professor in MPS, and as such, will be responsible for teaching MPS graduate-level courses in areas of major expertise, mentoring military and/or civilian doctoral students, overseeing thesis and dissertation studies, and providing lectures to medical and graduate students as needed. The incumbent will engage in programmatic research with the expectation to develop a nationally visible, extramurally supported program of research in support of USU and/or the DoD mission. The incumbent will also assist with curriculum design, engage with multiple administrative assignments, contribute to Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion initiatives across the University, and participate in professional, university, and departmental service activities.

Qualification Requirements: Requires a minimum of an earned Ph.D. degree in Clinical Psychology, Health Psychology, or relevant psychology field from an accredited university or institution; experience in graduate-level teaching and mentorship, curriculum design, and research; demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations in an inclusive manner; exceptional interpersonal skills; outstanding written and oral communication skills; academic accomplishments, reflected by scientific publications in peer-reviewed journals appropriate to the academic rank; and active membership and involvement in scholarly societies.
The successful candidate must be academically qualified for a faculty appointment at the Assistant or Associate Professor level in accordance with SOM and USU academic policies.

The Position: The Provost and Vice President for Academic and Student Affairs (Provost &amp; VPAA/SA) provides vital, creative, and adaptable leadership to the academic enterprise at Southern Oregon University (SOU). The Provost &amp; VPAA/SA has a significant duty in representing SOU to the Southern Oregon University Board of Trustees, engaging with the Oregon Provosts Council, and participating in the Oregon Council of Presidents. This person is responsible for articulating a vision and direction for Academic and Student Affairs and effectively communicating that vision to the campus community. <li>Accreditation (10%) The Provost &amp; VPAA/SA administers activities related to the accreditation and the external review of SOU and its schools, departments, and programs. This position ensures compliance with various academic disciplines and their respective accreditation agencies.</li>
<li>Budget &amp; Resources (10%) The Provost &amp; VPAA/SA designs effective budget models for Academic and Student Affairs. The Department of Biology has 17 tenure-track/tenured faculty with a variety of research interests, as well as lecturers and technicians who provide pivotal support. The department offers undergraduate and graduate programs. The department has facilities for 3D printing, cell culture and stem cell research, animal care, and plant growth. The CSUSB herbarium hosts a small collection (about 4,000 specimens) of mostly local flora. The Associate Dean will play a crucial role in leadership for the College of Education and Professional Studies (CEPS) in the years ahead. The Associate Dean is a leadership partner to the Dean. PHI’s Senior Workforce Intervention Specialist works to improve job quality for direct care workers by contributing to the development, implementation, and evaluation of PHI’s practice-based employment and training models. As a part of PHI’s Workforce Innovations Team (WIT), they will specialize in leading engagements related to operationalizing and evaluating meaningful advancement opportunities that expand the direct care career ladder; additionally, they may support programs aimed at strengthening recruitment and retention practices, creating a coaching culture, developing adult-learner centered training, and assessing direct care job quality. Outstanding skills in critical thinking, proactive leadership, written and verbal communication, relationship building, and workforce and organizational development are essential for success in this role. &nbsp;
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

<li>Lead the implementation of PHI practice-based job quality interventions, including creating and maintaining work plans and timelines, managing partner relationships, executing project activities, and reporting progress to PHI’s Vice President of Workforce Innovations through verbal and written communication.</li>
<li>Build and manage relationships with numerous strategic workforce partners – including long-term care employers, payors, advocates, and others - to support collaboration and the successful integration of job quality practices.</li>
<li>Provide technical assistance and consulting to project-based partners to support program design, implementation, and evaluation; this will include intensive, hands-on support to project partners to assess and modify organizational practices in support of implementing and maintaining workplace environments conducive to high-quality direct care jobs.</li>
<li>Routinely meet programmatic deadlines and proactively communicate impediments to the Vice President of Workforce Innovations.</li>
<li>Produce high-quality project deliverables in line with PHI and WIT acceptance criteria including PowerPoint slide deck presentations, external and internal reports, project worksheets, assessment tools, workflows, and other items as needed to meet project goals.</li>
<li>Plan, facilitate, and document meetings, informational sessions, webinars and other interactions with external partners; this could include coordinating planning with WIT and other PHI staff members, sending meeting invitations and conferencing information to attendees, creating and disseminating agendas, facilitation, documenting and archiving associated notes, and establishing next steps.</li>
<li>Collaborate with WIT staff to coordinate team roles, optimize efficiency, and meet project goals.</li>

Purpose: The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Santa Clara University is seeking a tenure-track assistant professor beginning fall 2024. Santa Clara University is a highly ranked Jesuit, Catholic university with an ACS-approved undergraduate program and is located in the Silicon Valley. The successful candidate is expected to demonstrate the ability to teach chemistry effectively to a diverse student body, establish an externally funded and productive undergraduate research program in computational &nbsp;chemistry, computational biochemistry, or cheminformatics (broadly defined), contribute to departmental research and teaching objectives, and participate in service-related activities. &nbsp;We encourage applications from scientists who will establish an active research program involving undergraduate students in predictive modeling, quantum chemistry, molecular simulations, machine learning, artificial intelligence, and/or big data analytics as applied to complex (bio)chemical problems. In silico approaches may be paired with wet lab approaches as well, but are not necessary.&nbsp;
Qualifications: Required Qualifications: A Ph.D. and postdoctoral experience in chemistry, biochemistry, or a closely allied field is required, along with a strong commitment to teaching and undergraduate research.

Responsibilities Tenure track faculty at SCU are teaching scholars who are expected to balance teaching, research and service. This is an in-person position. More specifically, duties include but are not limited to:
TEACHING 1. Teach lower- and upper-division courses in the major and university core curriculum, as assigned by the chair and subdisciplinary expertise. &nbsp;SCU is on the quarter system and a typical load is two courses per quarter. Teaching responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: a. Conducting and appearing at all assigned class meetings in a timely and prepared manner that demonstrates a command of the discipline and skill in presenting it effectively. b. Assigning and evaluating written work, projects, and exams that align with course or core learning objectives and providing timely feedback to students. c. Holding weekly office hours at times reasonably convenient to students. d. Assigning and submitting student grades that are appropriate, accurate, and fair measures of student performance to the Office of the Registrar by the designated deadline. e. Administering numerical and narrative evaluations in each section for all courses.
 2. Develop and teach courses that contribute to curriculum development in the relevant degree program and/or the university core. &nbsp;Faculty teaching university core courses should follow an approved syllabus or work with the chair to design an appropriate syllabus for submission for approval from the relevant Faculty Core Curriculum Committee.
 3. Participate in assessment of student learning for courses in the department.
 4. Provide informed advice and mentoring to undergraduate students.
 5. Fulfill other instructional or academic duties as may be assigned by the Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences or by the Chair of the Chemistry and Biochemistry Department.
 RESEARCH 1. Setting up a laboratory to perform computational research that will engage undergraduates and lead to sustained publication of results in reputable, peer-reviewed journals. 2. Pursuing external funding for individual and departmental research and teaching objectives.
SERVICE 1. Provide effective service to the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry, the College, the University and profession through contributions other than teaching and scholarship such as service on committees, participation in professional organizations and activities, leadership, and community service performed by virtue of professional expertise or association with the university as appropriate to rank and experience.

The Director of Government Affairs leads the college’s engagement with local, state, and federal government officials and agencies. The Director is responsible for advancing institutional priorities and securing funding through legislative advocacy, policy analysis, and strategic coordination with elected officials. The Director will oversee the Government Relations manager and ensure alignment of advocacy efforts with the college's mission and strategic plan.
Duties &amp; Responsibilities&nbsp;
The following duties and responsibilities are not exhaustive but illustrate the general requirement of the position. The position reports to the College’s Chief of Staff, who may direct the Director to perform duties in addition to those listed below.
Key responsibilities:

<li>Develop and lead the college’s government relations strategy, ensuring proactive, year-round engagement with elected officials and policymakers.</li>
<li>Serve as the primary liaison to government offices and legislative bodies, representing the college’s interests at public hearings, policy meetings, and budget discussions.</li>
<li>Serve as a CUNY Legislative Council Member (CLAC), coordinating state and city funding opportunities and higher education advocacy with CUNY and the College.</li>

<li>Prepare materials (e.g., briefing documents, legislative testimony, and funding proposals) that support the college’s priorities.</li>
<li>Lead the planning and execution of advocacy events, site visits, and campus tours for government officials.</li>
<li>Represent the College through participation on key boards and committees of organizations, agencies, and government entities whose work is related to priorities of the college</li>
<li>Oversee compliance with City/State/Federal lobbying regulations, ensuring timely submission of required reports.</li>
<li>Supervise and support the work of the Government Relations manager and other staff, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance oversight.</li>
<li>Facilitate internal awareness of key government-related developments and ensure a unified institutional voice in public policy discussions.</li>
<li>Establish and maintain strong relationships with legislative aides, policy analysts, and public agency staff to stay informed and to position LaGuardia appropriately before government officials.</li>

QUALIFICATIONS&nbsp;
Bachelor's Degree and eight years' related experience required.
