<li>Understands that a flexible work schedule may be required for this position.</li>

<li>Maintains an overall “look of the leader” appearance in the designated territory.</li>

Requirements:
Qualifications, Education, and Experience:
<ul>
<li>Must be 21 years of age or older with a Valid Driver’s license</li>
<li>High School Diploma or GED equivalent</li>
<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook as well as a demonstrated ability to utilize sales applications within ERP software (i.e. Encompass).</li>
<li>1+ year of customer service, retail, sales, or service industry experience</li>
</ul>
Physical Requirements: Ability to routinely lift 25 – 75 lbs., climb, reach and perform various physical maneuvers to perform the essential functions of the job.
 Working Conditions: The employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions. The employee is frequently exposed to extreme cold while merchandising and rotating products in coolers.

We are looking for enthusiastic Merchandisers to work in big box retail stores, handling live plants shipped on delivery racks. This role offers the chance to enjoy beautiful spring weather while also embracing the unique challenges of hot, cold, and varied seasonal conditions. We can provide some flexible scheduling options around our scheduling needs, allowing you to balance work with your personal life.
Key Responsibilities:

<li>Stock and display fresh plant material in garden centers.</li>
<li>Unload plants from delivery racks and set up displays.</li>
<li>Maintain a sales-ready appearance for all plants and displays.</li>
<li>Cull and dispose of non-sellable plants.</li>
<li>Perform inventory cycle counts and adjustments.</li>
<li>Assist with resets, building displays, and special events.</li>
<li>Keep work areas clean and safe.</li>
<li>Use tools such as pallet jacks, pruners, ladders, and more.</li>
<li>Adhere to company policies and safety guidelines.</li>
<li>Work and communicate cooperatively with coworkers, vendors and retail associates.</li>
<li>Report to work on time and follow the given schedule.</li>
