Job Description: Implementation Specialist
The Implementation Specialist is responsible for the successful deployment of PCS transportation management solutions for carriers, shippers, and brokers. The Implementation Specialist will take ownership of the software implementation and end-user training from the minute the sales contract is executed through the completion of go-live by communicating constantly with the customer and creating and managing the implementation timeline with our customers.

Under the direction of the Business &amp; Employment Manager, the Business and Employment Developer will work with a staff team, key partners, and employers to assist adult jobseekers within vulnerable populations (e.g. veterans, disabled, re-entry, homeless) to develop job- readiness skills, enter and maintain placement within living-wage careers. The Business and Employment Developer will work to strengthen the local workforce sectors by increasing the employability and placement opportunities of jobseekers while simultaneously cultivating business relationships and providing employers with skilled applicants. Upon career placement, they will provide participants with follow-up services for one- year after exit, close all cases, and coordinate with career coaches to ensure streamlined and timely services. The Job Developer will execute a coordinated, client-employer focused approach within the Integrated Service Delivery (ISD) model that positively impacts the jobseeker, employer, organization, and community at-large.
The Business and Employment Developer will track and document all services provided to clients and employers as well as progress towards all grant outcomes. They will also enter, organize, and maintain accurate data, reporting, and main files for all participants to successfully meet all grant outcomes. The Business and Employment Developer will coordinate and collaborate with all WDD staff, other departments within CRCD, and outside partners/employers to ensure effective and streamlined services and delivery. The Business and Employment Developer will also support the organization’s 5-year strategic plan and work closely with management to ensure alignment and consistent progress towards those goals.

<li>Track and organize weekly to quarterly all job-readiness training, placement, retention, and follow-up services case notes and outcomes progress on CalJOBS/Salesforce platforms, including within internal tracking sheets.</li>
<li>Create/implement job-readiness services/workshops such as resume writing, mock interviews, computer literacy, etc. via in-person, virtual, and social media platforms on a weekly basis to meet the needs of the 21st century workforce.</li>
<li>Implement various placement strategies on a weekly basis with jobseekers such as direct placements, on-the-job training (OJT), job fairs, targeted local hire, pre- screening and matching with employer referrals, etc.</li>
<li>Achieve dozens of job placements monthly with fluctuation according to grant deliverables</li>
<li>Outreach, engage, cultivate relationships among businesses &amp; employers weekly.</li>
<li>Create relationships with employers in various high growth industries such as construction, transportation, hospitality, clean energy, etc. and coordinate placement of qualified candidates.</li>
<li>Maintain files for all business services provided (e.g. employer files) such as business needs assessment forms, clients referrals, etc. within specific data systems, including but not limited to internal databases, spreadsheets, ETO, Salesforce and CalJOBs</li>
<li>Gather, organize, and post job leads, recruitment events, hiring employers, job fairs, etc. on a consistent basis via hard copy and virtual/social media platforms.</li>
<li>Organize business service displays within the WorkSource Center locations.</li>
<li>Facilitate weekly to monthly case conferencing for participant caseload amongst the staff team and key partners to ensure adequate service delivery and monitor progress towards all grant outcomes.</li>
<li>Oversee referrals for small businesses services to Business Source Center and other gov’t and community-based-organizations who can support the needs of entrepreneurs and small business owners.</li>
<li>Initiates and participates within employer work groups, round tables, chambers of commerce, business corridors and other initiatives in appropriate targeted sectors.</li>
<li>Help lead monthly/quarterly advisory council meetings with employers who serve as advisors for CRCD’s Workforce Development Department (WDD)</li>

General Summary:

Education / Experience Preferred:
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, MIS, or another relevant field.</li>
<li>4-7 years’ experience in Audit, Internal Audit, Business Process Improvement, Banking, or another related field.</li>
<li>Sound professional judgment, critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills, and common sense.</li>
<li>CIA, CPA, or other relevant professional designation (preferred).</li>
<li>Excellent Communication and Interpersonal skills.</li>
<li>Ability to identify risks and assess effectiveness of risk mitigation procedures.</li>
<li>Ability to develop appropriate testing methodologies to achieve credible results, and ability to accurately interpret results.</li>
<li>Ability to assess efficiency and effectiveness of processes and systems and to create and promote practical recommendations for improvement.</li>

Summary/Objective
This position is responsible for cutting, packing, wrapping, and merchandising meats and seafood items. 
 
Position Responsibilities (Include but not limited to)
Product Management
<ul>
<li>Assist with effectively ordering all products for the Meat Department; maintain display case inventory at a level that promotes creative and effective merchandising and maximizes sales potential. </li>
<li>Participate in determining order quantities and verifying the cost of goods. </li>
<li>Participate in maintaining positive store-level vendor relations. </li>
<li>Inform the Meat Manager of vendor price changes on approved products as needed.</li>
<li>Assist the Meat Manager with determining product selections; perform category management functions as assigned by the Meat Manager or as needed.</li>
<li>Consistently achieve all food preparation guidelines, including full compliance with an established recipe program; ensures prepared food consistency, quality, freshness, and portion control. </li>
<li>Process all mis-picks, damaged goods, and credits within established guidelines and report information to the Meat Manager. </li>
<li>Comply with stocking standards that ensure high product quality, including rotation procedures. </li>
<li>Incorporate cleaning with stocking and rotation requirements. </li>
<li>Immediately notify the Meat Manager of all short-coded products; ensure adjustments to pricing, signage, and displays are completed as assigned by the Meat Manager.</li>
<li>Alert the Meat Manager of incorrect billing issues. </li>
<li>Process all invoices and credits for products billed by weight by approved receiving policies and procedures.</li>
<li>Participate in physical inventory on a quarterly basis or more frequently if needed. </li>
<li>Assist with developing and maintaining product displays that create an exciting marketplace; strive to develop displays that pique customer interest and impact buying trends. </li>
<li>Assist the Meat Manager with ensuring effective informational and price point signing is posted for all products.</li>
<li>Assist the Meat Manager in developing effective product descriptions and establishing correct verbiage for all related signs/materials.</li>
</ul>
Operations
<ul>
<li>Adhere to all food safety and sanitation requirements. </li>
<li>Complete daily activities as assigned or needed; ensure daily tasks and assignments are accomplished correctly and in a timely manner.</li>
<li>Participate in Meat Department staff meetings and store staff meetings as required.</li>
<li>Maintain back room, walk-in coolers, and freezer in a safe, clean, and organized manner; store products in a manner that allows easy access to back stock.</li>
<li>Use work-related equipment correctly under manufacturer guidelines. </li>
<li>Adhere to company guidelines for preventing internal and external loss, including risk management, accident prevention/safety awareness, and loss prevention. </li>
<li>Contribute to a productive, enjoyable work environment; foster working relationships that promote positive team morale. Effectively utilizes the Company’s Conflict Resolution programs as needed. </li>
<li>Give and receive input/feedback in a solution-based manner.</li>

<li>Maintain the Meat Department area in a clean, organized, customer-friendly manner; consistently provide customers with a professional, upbeat atmosphere.</li>

Requirements:
Required Education, Skills, and Experience

<li>Current Food Handlers permit. </li>
<li>Four (4) years of meat cutting experience.</li>
<li>Ability to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously and produce quality with deadlines. Responds with an appropriate "sense of urgency" when needed. </li>
<li>Excellent time management and organizational skills.</li>
<li>Demonstrates a high level of self-motivation, takes initiative, and problem-solving</li>
<li>Possess strong knowledge of food safety. </li>
<li>Excellent customer service and communication skills.</li>
<li>Proven ability and willingness to interact and perform all job responsibilities professionally.</li>
