 About Win - Women in Need Win is dedicated to breaking the cycle of homelessness by providingtransitional and supportive shelters for women-led families. Manyof our families have escaped domestic violence and strive to keeptheir families together and safe. Win’s Income Building Programsupports our clients by facilitating their transition fromunemployment to employment and helping those already employed toimprove their circumstances. This includes increasing wages, movingfrom part-time to full-time work, securing health benefits, andtransitioning from off-the-books to on-the-books positions.Additionally, Win offers financial literacy workshops to equip ourclients with essential skills such as budgeting, bill paying, andbasic fiscal management. Purpose of the Opportunity The Manager of Individual Gifts is responsible for identifying,cultivating, qualifying, and soliciting mid-level ($1,000-$4,999)donors to raise significant revenue for Win. Reporting to theSenior Director, Major Gifts, the Individual Giving officer managesaspects of the individual donor programs (events, communicationscontent, solicitation) to raise funds and donor commitments insupport of Win programs. Key Accountabilities
Donor Relations and Cultivation • Manage portfolio of donors supporting from $1,000-$4,999,including annual giving, from communications and engagement tosolicitation and stewardship. • Coordinate donor experiences involving Development and Programteams, including strategy development and preparation of briefingdocuments, formal proposals, and logistical support. • Oversee the acknowledgement and recognition processes formid-level donors, ensuring immediate, tailored, and accuratecorrespondence to donors, and on-going appreciation asappropriate.
Research and Metrics • Regularly provide reporting on mid-level financial progress as itrelates to overall goal. • Work closely with the Director of Development Operations todevelop systems and methodology to identify/qualify new Windonors. • Analyze donor data and fundraising metrics to assess performance,identify trends and share key learnings to inform strategicdecision-making.
 Data-Driven Approach • Ensure the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date donor recordsin Salesforce, Win’s CRM database, with a focus on data hygiene.Work with the Development staff to ensure fulfillment andimplementation. • Track and report activities and progress towards goals throughthe fiscal year. The College of Science is seeking a Program Coordinator. This is a full-time (1.0 FTE), 12-month, professional faculty position. The Research Development Unit (RDU) within the College of Science is focused on accelerating research growth by leveraging college resources to encourage faculty to address grand societal research challenges and target funding opportunities to increase the size and number of competitive research grants in alignment with the Oregon State University’s <a href="https://leadership.oregonstate.edu/strategic-plan" target="_blank">Strategic Plan SP4.0</a>, the college’s diversity action plan, <a href="https://science.oregonstate.edu/diversity-plan" target="_blank">Embedding Equity, Access and Inclusion</a>, and the College of Science’s <a href="https://science.oregonstate.edu/our-college/strategic-plan-2015-to-2020" target="_blank">Strategic Plan.</a> The RDU designs and implements services, using an equity, access and inclusion (EAI) lens to help faculty, staff and student investigators succeed in obtaining and maintaining intramural funding within Oregon State University (OSU), and extramural funding from federal agencies and foundation grants. &nbsp; The Program Coordinator is a member of the Research Development Unit working on complex projects, collaborating with faculty, staff, and researchers across the college and university. POSITION OVERVIEW
SEO saw rapid and unprecedented expansion during the pandemic,prompting the need to grow and redesign our C-suite. Over the lastthree years, we have welcomed three new Executive Committee membersto oversee critical functions within the organization— SEOProfessional Programs, SEO Scholars Program, and nationaloperations. In the same period, we have also doubled theorganization's workforce and budget, expanded SEO's regionalfootprints in North Carolina and Miami, and opened a second site inOakland, CA, to accommodate our growing Scholars program in SanFrancisco.
The SEO Chief Advancement Officer is responsible for strategicdevelopment planning and activities supporting the NYC SEO Scholarsprogram and SEO general program/operating support, representing 40%of organization's $51M budget with the goal to grow support by 50%over next 3 years. A particular focus will be on nationalfoundations, corporate donors, and major individual donors. The CAOis expected to be a front-line national relationship builder andmajor donor solicitor, managing a portfolio of prospects, andsupervising an approximately nine-member development team.
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) William Goodloe,the CAO will be a leader in lifting the current org-widedevelopment efforts to new levels of success by broadening ways toattract and more deeply engage with national foundations,corporations, and individual philanthropists over time – to becomestrategic sources of revenue. The CAO will also work closely withSEO’s professional programs and its Marketing &amp; Communicationsteam to utilize SEO’s legacy of impact closing opportunity gaps toincrease national brand recognition as a whole. The CAO will serveon the Executive Committee of SEO’s Executive Leadership Team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Fundraising:
<ul>
<li>Drive a strategy to raise roughly an additional $10 - 15m+ inannual revenue for SEO general program support and Scholars programsupport from a variety of philanthropic sources (annual giving,major gifts, corporate and foundation relations, alumni) andspecial events (an annual gala that consistently generates $8m+ inunrestricted funds and several smaller events focused on theScholars program and general SEO support).</li>
<li>Leverage SEO’s existing ecosystem and activate SEO’s untappednetworks within the spaces where the organization currentlyoperates, including private equity and corporate partnerorganizations.</li>
<li>In collaboration with the CEO, senior staff and Board ofDirectors, develop long-range strategies to significantly increasephilanthropic giving and serve as the key strategist for specific“asks.”</li>

The Senior Editor, reporting to the UVA Today Managing Editor, will oversee several direct reports; edit copy for grammar, accuracy, and adherence to Associated Press and local style; and research and write stories as needed. SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY:&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; This position will coordinate the joint efforts of Kentucky State University (KSU), the Frankfort/Franklin County Joint Task Force on Invasives, and related initiatives to improve natural lands in the target region. In the Integrative Biology Department, academic advisors typically work with students during their entire life cycle at OSU, supporting decision making about coursework and career development. The advisor will also participate in School of Life Sciences and College of Science recruitment and retention efforts. Some evening and weekend work may be required. The Department of Integrative Biology is part of the School of Life Sciences and receives support for its academic program from the College of Science. The Department of Integrative Biology supports two large Corvallis Campus majors, Biology and Zoology, and an Ecampus Zoology degree. The department has developed an internationally recognized graduate program in conservation, evolutionary biology and marine ecology with faculty working in these areas at the level of the cell, organism and community. The Zoology major is one of the largest Ecampus programs offered and also supports a robust on-campus cohort. <li>Provide primary academic advising services for on campus (Corvallis) and Ecampus (online) Biology and Zoology majors. Advising includes decision-making in coursework for general education (baccalaureate core) and major/minor specific coursework, as well as career advising and professional development.</li>
<li>Advise new students during first-year and transfer student orientations.</li>
<li>Assist biology and zoology students with general requests such as change of major forms, petitions, referral to appropriate services, etc.</li>
<li>Participate in proactive advising interventions. Including potentially 1:1 reach-out to students in response to reports each term.</li>
<li>Assist students in navigating academic standing, including seeking reinstatement after suspension from the University.</li>
</ul>
30% Program Support:
<ul>
<li>Promote diversity and support equity, justice, and inclusion in the Department of Integrative Biology, School of Life Sciences and College of Science programs, including participation in proactive advising efforts to support students from diverse backgrounds.
