Participates in initial examination of obstetrical patient and is assigned responsibility for care and treatment of patient. Discusses cases with Obstetrician to assure observation of specified practices. Instructs patient in diet and prenatal health practices. Your role:
 In order to ensure quality healthcare services, the Certified Nurse Midwife provides direct patient care to women, which includes gynecologic, prenatal, and postpartum care. Additionally, the CNM provides clinical leadership to other providers around perinatal services.

Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) Location: Platinum Women’s Health – Murrieta &amp; Temecula, CA

At Platinum Women’s Health, we are redefining personalized care in the heart of Southern California with two state-of-the-art locations in Murrieta and Temecula. We're seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) who is passionate about patient-centered care and ready to make a meaningful difference in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
What You’ll Do: Our CNMs are an essential part of a collaborative and compassionate team. In this role, you will work closely with our OB/GYN physicians to provide comprehensive care throughout the reproductive journey.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver compassionate prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum care
</li>
<li>
Provide support and guidance during labor and delivery
</li>
<li>
Perform routine gynecological services including annual exams, contraceptive counseling, IUD placements, and pessary care
</li>
<li>
Educate and empower patients on health, wellness, and reproductive options
</li>
<li>
Maintain accurate medical records and collaborate on diagnoses and treatment plans
</li>
</ul>
What We’re Looking For:
Education &amp; Certifications:
<ul>
<li>
Active, unrestricted Nurse Midwife license (CA Board of Registered Nursing)
</li>
<li>
Certified by the American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB)
</li>
<li>
Graduate of an ACN-accredited midwifery education program
</li>
<li>
California DEA registration and NRP Certification
</li>
<li>
Documented 15 deliveries in the past 12 months in a hospital or birth center
</li>
</ul>
Experience:
<ul>
<li>
Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience as a CNM
</li>
</ul>
Skills:
<ul>
<li>
Strong clinical judgment and decision-making, particularly in urgent settings
</li>
<li>
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
</li>
<li>
Familiarity with EMR systems (Epic or Athena)
</li>
<li>
Commitment to timely charting and billing practices
</li>
<li>
Ability to work collaboratively with OB/GYN physicians and care teams
</li>
</ul>
Schedule &amp; Expectations:

Full-time position: 4 full clinic days per week
</li>
<li>
Shared call rotation required monthly
</li>
<li>
Shifts range from 8 to 9.5 hours
