The Wilkinson Public Library (San Miguel County Public Library District #1) is located in spectacular southwestern Colorado, known for its stunning scenic beauty and a rich, colorful history. The Library District comprises the east end of San Miguel County. From the dramatic San Juan Mountains and Telluride’s world-class skiing in the east to the mesas, farms, and high-desert ranches to the west, San Miguel County (pop. 8,082, 1289 sq. mi.) is geographically and socioeconomically diverse, a state and national treasure. A five-member board of trustees, each appointed by the San Miguel County Commissioners oversees the library district.
Currently, the District has a strong financial position. The 2025 budget anticipates $4.48M in general fund expenditures, supporting 23.35 FTE, and capital expenditures of $1.76M. Projected yearend (2025) fund balances are GF $1.2M and Capital $1.8M. The Colorado State Library ranks the WPL first in the state for per capita library visits and circulation, and third in the state for per capita program attendance.
This career opportunity is available with the scheduled retirement (late-March, 2025) of the library director, who has served as director for nearly 11 years. The library director reports to the board of trustees and oversees a management team, comprised of the managers of the library’s four key divisions: business office, operations, youth services, and public services.
A four-year degree in a relevant field of study; at least five years of progressively responsible experience in library administration; knowledge of library best practices, trends, issues, and industry software and databases; or any equivalent combination of education and experience are all required. A master’s degree in library science or library information science from an ALA- accredited school or program, or in a related field is also required. The hiring range for this position is $117,709 to $147,136 DOQE. Manages the delivery of all academic advising for undeclared students and leads&nbsp;the development, administration, and evaluation of advising and new cadet transition programs. The Assistant Dean for Career Planning and Professional Development provides leadership, management, and direct student and alumni services in the area of career services. This position oversees efforts to support JD students and alumni in obtaining employment, which is a high priority for the law school. Research Associate - Aquaculture Nutrition

The incumbent will work under the overall supervision of the Vice-President (Academic Affairs), and functionally under the Head of Port Management. As a faculty member at the World Maritime University, the Assistant Professor is expected to provide teaching/mentoring and research and publication and promote inter-university cooperation in areas related to maritime economics and management.
The Assistant Professor of Maritime Economics and Management is expected to contribute to the overall efforts of WMU to strengthen the economics component in its academic programmes. This position is therefore open to candidates with a wide range of interests and expertise in economic and management matters related to shipping and port operations and management. Areas of focus of potential candidates for this position may include, among others, maritime economics, business, and management.

Dominican University (DU) invites applications and nominations for the role of Interim Program Director of the Physician Assistant Studies (PAS) Program in the Borra College of Health Sciences. The Interim Program Director will provide leadership, administrative oversight and oversee all aspects of the PAS program including organization, administration, fiscal management, ongoing review and assessment, program planning and development and continuing accreditation with ARC-PA. The successful candidate will also be responsible for the routine operations of the program including curriculum oversight, scheduling and faculty workload, faculty evaluation, student recruitment and support, and the identification and development of clinical affiliation agreements, working in collaboration with the PAS Director of Clinical Education.&nbsp; The Program Director, reporting to the Dean of the Borra College of Health Sciences, leads the members of the PAS Department which includes the Director of Clinical Education, the Medical Director, and program faculty and staff.&nbsp; There is also an expectation to work with colleagues across the college, university leadership, the program’s Advisory Board and healthcare partners to innovate and promote the program. &nbsp;

JOB COMPONENTS/PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

<li>Lead with excellent management and communication skills to articulate and carry out the vision of the program</li>
<li>Provide oversight of program curriculum and policy development and implementation including regular review of student policies in the PAS Student Handbook</li>
<li>Continuously evaluate, analyze and improve the program to ensure ongoing successful accreditation in program’s self-evaluation process and on-going program quality standards</li>
<li>Faculty/staff recruitment, hiring, mentoring, evaluation and development</li>
<li>Manage program budget and provide fiscal management</li>
<li>Provide oversight of the admissions process, student recruitment and orientation</li>
<li>Encourage student excellence in both didactic and clinical years that fosters a positive student experience in the program</li>
<li>Recruit and support a diverse group of students and learners</li>
<li>Work with program faculty, Medical Director to promote and enhance student retention and pathways for remediation</li>
<li>Provide direction for program strategic planning and development, with an attention to the analysis of comprehensive program data</li>
<li>Work with the program directors/chairs and the Director of Simulation Education Center in the Borra College of Health Sciences to develop and implement collaborative interprofessional experiences in the college</li>
<li>Supervision of the medical director, principal and instructional faculty, and staff in activities that directly relate to the PA program including regular review of PAS committee duties and actions</li>
<li>Create and maintain effective relationships with outside stakeholders, particularly for the development and maintenance of clinical affiliations</li>
<li>Foster future growth and expansion of program</li>
<li>Perform other duties as requested, delegated or assigned</li>
</ul>
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Qualifications
<ul>
<li>A graduate of an accredited physician assistant program with a current NCCPA certification and eligibility for licensure in Illinois</li>
<li>At least seven years of clinical experience as a practicing PA with a thorough understanding of the physician assistant role and practice</li>
<li>Minimum of five years of full-time faculty experience and three years of full-time experience in a PAS program with teaching responsibilities at the graduate level</li>
<li>Previous experience with the ARC-PA accreditation process for physician assistant programs</li>
</ul>
Preferred Qualifications
<ul>
<li>Previous experience in education leadership such as Program Director, Associate Program Director, Academic Director, Clinical Director or another director-level role</li>
<li>Demonstrated leadership in the PAS field; Record of excellence in teaching, scholarship, service and fostering empirical research.</li>
<li>Have a vision and the interpersonal skills to build partnerships within and outside the PAS program, and state and regional partners and stakeholders.</li>

Interim Program Director, Physician Assistant Studies

Franklin College is seeking to fill a Director of the Center for Diversity and Inclusion for the Student Development Department. This is a full-time, salary-exempt, 12-month position that is expected to work 39 hours per week reporting to the Vice President for Student Development and Dean of Students. The Director provides support to under-represented populations and education to all students, including the majority population, in an effort to increase knowledge, understanding, and skills related to diversity. The Director will place emphasis on encouraging students to engage across differences, develop a global perspective, and advocate for a just society. RESPONSIBILITIES

REQUIREMENTS
EXPERIENCE:&nbsp; Minimum 3-5 years experience with diversity, equity, and inclusion required; 2 years experience on a college campus or other educational institutions, preferred. Demonstrated success in working with and advocating for students of underrepresented populations and similar success in engaging with majority students to help create a campus culture of inclusivity.
EDUCATION/LICENSING:&nbsp; Master’s degree required in Higher Education Administration, Student Affairs, College Student Personnel, Education, Psychology, Educational Psychology, or a related field. A combination of a Bachelor’s degree and relevant experience will be considered.

Lead Information Security Administrator

The USU Department of Medical and Clinical Psychology (MPS), F. The successful candidate must be academically qualified for a faculty appointment at the Assistant or Associate Professor level in accordance with SOM and USU academic policies.
