Qualifications
Candidates should possess an MFA in a studio art discipline by the time of appointment. Candidate should have university-level teaching experience with an emphasis on drawing from direct observation and the elements and principles essential to 2D design. The successful candidates will be responsible for teaching drawing and 2D design classes within the foundations area of our department. The ability to work collaboratively with other foundations faculty to maintain the studios and in developing a consistent curriculum is essential. A strong record of creative scholarship and evidence of an active exhibition record is preferred. The ability to seek external funding is strongly encouraged to support research. Candidates should be able to demonstrate experience in one or more of the following: undergraduate mentoring; engagement with programs directed toward first-generation students; direction and supervision of undergraduate research.

Society for the Humanities Fellowships
The Society for the Humanities at Cornell University invites applications for residential fellowships from scholars and artists whose projects reflect on the 2024-25 theme of Silence. Up to six fellows will be appointed. The fellowships are held for one year (August through July). Each Society Fellow will receive $60,000.
Fellows include scholars and practitioners from other universities and members of the Cornell faculty released from regular duties. Fellows at the Society for the Humanities are “residential,” and will collaborate with one another and the Taylor Family Director of the Society for the Humanities, Paul Fleming, L. Sanford and Jo Mills Reis Professor of Humanities and professor of comparative literature and German studies. Fellows spend their time in research and writing during the residential fellowship, and are required to participate in a weekly Fellows Seminar workshopping each other’s projects and discussing readings based on the yearly theme.
The nature of this fellowship year is social and communal—fellows forge connections outside the classroom and the lecture hall by sharing meals following the weekly seminar and attending post-lecture receptions and other casual events throughout the year. Fellows live and work in Ithaca, NY, and are expected to be in their offices on campus frequently. All applicants for Society Fellowships should share in this commitment to creating a supportive and intellectually stimulating community.
Fellows teach one small seminar during their fellowship year appropriate for graduate students and advanced undergraduates. Though courses are designed to fit the focal theme, there are no additional restrictions on what or how the course should be taught. Fellows are encouraged to experiment with both the content and the method of their seminar particularly as it relates to their current research.
Qualifications
Fellows should be working on topics related to the 2024-25 focal theme of “Silence.” Their approach to the humanities should be broad enough to appeal to students and scholars in several humanistic disciplines. Applicants must have received the Ph.D. degree before January 1, 2023. The Society for the Humanities will not consider applications from scholars who received the Ph.D. after this date. Applicants must also have one or more years of teaching experience, which may include teaching as a graduate student. International scholars are welcome to apply, contingent upon visa eligibility.

Job Description The Division of Applied Social Sciences (DASS) at the University of Missouri invites applications for Assistant/Associate Professor of Agribusiness Management and MFA Chair in Agribusiness. The position supports teaching and research in DASS relating to agribusinesses, with a particular emphasis on cooperatives and producer-owned organizations. Job Description The College of Agriculture, Food, and Natural Resources (CAFNR) at the University of Missouri invites applications for Assistant/Associate Professor of Agricultural and Applied Economics and the Al and Mary Agnes McQuinn Chair in Entrepreneurial Leadership. The successful candidate will serve as Director of the McQuinn Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership and, based on qualifications, be eligible for a tenured professorship in the College’s Division of Applied Social Sciences (DASS). The position supports teaching and research relating to entrepreneurship, leadership, strategy, and related disciplines. This is a nine-month appointment. If hired at the Assistant Professor rank, the candidate will be appointed to the endowed Chair upon successful promotion with tenure at the Associate Professor rank. Unlike traditional entrepreneurship programs designed for a general business education, the McQuinn Chair’s position within CAFNR lends itself to a natural emphasis on entrepreneurship in life sciences, food and agriculture, rural development, and natural resource entrepreneurship. When created in 2004, the McQuinn Chair was designed to enhance research, classroom teaching, and one-on-one mentoring in entrepreneurial leadership, with a specific charge to enhance the life sciences economic engine in the State of Missouri and to help raise MU’s national reputation as promoter of innovation in this emerging field. This includes the pursuit of innovative and non-conventional visions, the parameters and requirements of risk-taking, and personal conduct and priorities. The scope of the chair is not only with the creation, management, and growth of new firms and organizations but also with the operation of existing enterprises, the adaptation of technological and organizational innovations, and the management of human resources. Assistant/Associate Professor of Agricultural and Applied Economics; McQuinn Chair

Job Description The School of Natural Resources (SNR) at the University of Missouri (MU) is seeking a faculty member in Climate Science. With this position, MU will better occupy a place among a select group of universities that boast a truly integrated and multidisciplinary approach to extension, research, and actionable scholarship in the field of climate science. This position will strengthen growing teaching and research programs, collaborate with other established MU research centers to garner major grants, form innovative new partnerships with private and public partners, and contribute toward improving grant and publication metrics considered in the Association of American Universities' (AAU) rankings. This position will complement and collaborate with faculty in SNR; the College of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources (CAFNR); and other colleges and departments across the MU campus. Collaborative opportunities also exist with the MU Center for Agroforestry, the MU Water Center, and the Interdisciplinary Plant Group (IPG). This is a 9-month, tenure-track appointment in teaching and research at the assistant professor level. Assistant Professor/Faculty Fellow&nbsp; Department of Spanish and Portuguese New York University Arts and Science APFF (Managing Editor, Journal of Spanish Cultural Studies + language teaching) The Department of Spanish and Portuguese at New York University invites applicants for an Assistant Professor Faculty Fellow (APFF) position in the field of Spanish Peninsular literature and culture. Area of expertise may range from medieval to contemporary, with specialty and chronological focus open. The APFF’s primary responsibility will be to serve as Managing Editor for the Journal of Spanish Cultural Studies with an additional 1:1 course load teaching Spanish language courses in the Department of Spanish and Portuguese. Adjunct Instructor

Description The University of Washington Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology is seeking one (1) full-time pathologist for appointment to join our Hematopathology Division on the School of Medicine’s clinician-teacher pathway. Clinical responsibilities will include reporting of morphology for lymph nodes, tissues, bloods and marrows, as well as flow cytometry (diagnostic and minimal residual disease testing) and may include molecular diagnostic testing, hemoglobin electrophoresis and coagulation reporting, depending on the interests of the candidate. Educational activities include teaching hematology / hematopathology to students, technologists, residents and fellows. &nbsp;Applicants are expected to be involved in administrative aspects of the lab, including new test development, and develop an area of focused research / scholarly work.&nbsp;
This is a full-time, 12-month service period (July 1 – June 30) position and remains open until filled with an anticipated start date of January 1, 2024 but is flexible.
This appointment may be at the rank of Assistant, Associate or full Professor, without tenure due to reasons of funding. Salary and academic appointment at University of Washington will be commensurate with experience, qualifications, and academic rank.
The base salary range for this position will be: Assistant Professors: $18,170 to $21,807 per month ($218,039 to $261,688 annually); Associate Professors: $21,903 to $25,696 per month ($262,831 to $308,357 annually); Professors: $26,023 to $31,796 per month ($312,274 to $381,547 annually), commensurate with experience and qualifications, or as mandated by a U.S. Department of Labor prevailing wage determination.
