Job DescriptionJOB SUMMARY:The Certified Nurse Midwife is responsible for the management of women’s health care focusing on pregnancy, childbirth, post-partum, family planning and the gynecologic needs of women. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

<li>Ensures compliance with all applicable HIPAA, JCAHO, OSHA, Local, State and Federal initiatives and requirements.</li>
<li>Must satisfactorily maintain all terms and conditions of the Advanced Nurse Practitioner Collaborative Agreement as required by the State of New Jersey.</li>

 POSITION QUALIFICATIONSEducation or Formal Training:

<li>A minimum of Master’s degree from an accredited College or University is required. Graduate of a certified US Nurse Midwifery school.</li>

Licenses, Certifications or Registrations:

<li>&nbsp;RN License in State of NJ, CNM License with prescriptive privilege in State of NJ, valid CNM certification from the American Midwifery Certification Board, BLS /CPR certification from the American Heart Association, CDS and DEA licenses.</li>

Previous Work Experience:

<li>Minimum of 3-5 years Nursing experience with 2 years in ambulatory care/and or similar environment.</li>
