Join our dynamic team consisting of 21 Cardiologists and 11 Advanced Practice Clinicians, committed to delivering high-quality cardiovascular care through a collaborative team approach.
 
The ideal candidate will join our Electrophysiology (EP) team of 3 Electrophysiologists and 3 APCs who specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of heart rhythm disorders, including pacemaker and defibrillator implantation and management, catheter ablations, left atrial appendage procedures, and implantation of loop recorders. 
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Participate in inpatient and outpatient evaluation of patients with cardiac rhythm problems in conjunction with the electrophysiologist.</li>
<li>Outpatient follow-up and management of patients with various rhythm problems, including initiating and managing antiarrhythmic and anticoagulation therapies, and triage of patients with acute issues, including office evaluation.</li>
<li>Provide pre- and post-procedural care and education for patients undergoing pacemaker or ICD implantation, ablation, LAAO implant, lead extraction, and cardioversion. </li>
<li>Interpret EKGs and device interrogations; assess symptoms and recommend care plans accordingly. </li>
<li>Ensure documentation meets CMS guidelines and participate in peer-to-peer authorizations and insurance processes. </li>

Star Nursing is expanding its Advanced Wound Care Program and hiring Nurse Practitioners (NPs) to lead in-home and facility-based wound consultations. Training is provided. This mobile role focuses on delivering high-quality, patient-centered wound care in private homes, assisted living, and independent living facilities.
Your work will contribute directly to better outcomes for California’s aging and medically complex populations, with future potential for expanded primary care responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Conduct in-person wound assessments, including history, physical exam, and staging</li>
<li>Perform wound care procedures: debridement, dressing changes, topical applications</li>
<li>Create and manage individualized wound care plans</li>
<li>Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams and support discharge planning</li>
<li>Educate patients and caregivers on wound care and prevention</li>
<li>Maintain complete, timely, and compliant medical documentation</li>
<li>Use and understand Durable Medical Equipment (DME) relevant to wound management</li>
<li>Stay current with wound care innovations and training opportunities</li>
</ul>
Required Qualifications
<ul>
<li>Current California Nurse Practitioner (NP) license and RN license</li>
<li>Furnishing number for prescriptive authority under CA law</li>
<li>DEA registration for controlled substances (if applicable)</li>
<li>Valid California driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation</li>
<li>BLS certification required; ACLS preferred</li>
</ul>
Preferred Experience
<ul>
<li>2+ years of experience in wound care</li>
<li>2+ years working with senior or geriatric populations</li>
<li>2+ years in outpatient or home-based care</li>
<li>Experience with EHR systems and clinical documentation</li>
<li>Bilingual in Spanish or Tagalog is a plus</li>
