SUMMARY
South Denver OBGYN and Midwives is looking for a CNM with a strong team spirit and a passion for birth to join our practice full-time. We work within a private OBGYN group with very supportive physicians who truly understand the Midwifery Model of care. In addition Littleton Hospital supports low intervention birth which creates a team spirit with the nurses and our Midwives. South Denver OBGYN is a member of the OnPoint Medical Group Network.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
<ul>
<li>Provide full-scope midwifery care including independent management of women’s health care focusing primarily on pregnancy, birth, postpartum as well as family planning, gynecological and primary care of women.</li>
<li>Practice that provides for consultation, collaborative management or referral to obstetrics, perinatology, and other specialties as indicated by client health status</li>
<li>Manage hospital labor assessment and admission, normal and abnormal labor, cervical ripening and labor induction, postpartum care and discharge.</li>
<li>Perform vaginal birth and laceration repair, limited 1st trimester and 3rd trimester OB ultrasounds as appropriate to training and experience, C-section first surgical assist, and IUD and subdermal contraceptive implant insertion and removal.</li>
<li>Maintain medical records according to community standards of practice.</li>
</ul>
EDUCATION:

<li>Masters or Doctorate Degree in Nurse-Midwifery or Midwifery required.</li>
</ul>
LICENSE AND CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

<li>Current Registered Nurse (RN) License for the State of Colorado</li>

About the position:
As a travel labor and delivery nurse (L&amp;D RN), you will provide care for women during labor, childbirth, and postpartum recovery. Your expertise will ensure safe and compassionate care for both mother and baby.
 
Responsibilities:
•&nbsp;Monitor and assess maternal and fetal well-being during labor
•&nbsp;Administer medications and assist in pain management techniques
•&nbsp;Provide support during vaginal and cesarean deliveries
•&nbsp;Educate and assist new mothers with postpartum care and newborn care
 
Qualifications:
•&nbsp;Active RN license&nbsp;
•&nbsp;BLS certification&nbsp;
•&nbsp;Minimum of one (1) year of experience

Pay Information:
•&nbsp;$1,908 per week*
•&nbsp;*Estimated weekly pay packages are based on bill rates at the time this job was posted and include hourly wages as well as eligible reimbursements for meal and incidental expenses and housing. Bill rates can change frequently and without notice. Exact pay packages may vary based on guaranteed hours, distance being traveled, experience and other customizations available to travelers.
