We are seeking an Outside Sales Representative / “Business Development Hunter” to join a growing team in mid-Atlantic region! This role is pivotal in driving the growth of our pharmaceutical and healthcare solutions portfolio by securing new clients and forging strong, lasting relationships with existing ones.
 
The Sales Representative will identify new business opportunities, negotiate and close business deals, and maintain extensive knowledge of current market conditions. The ideal candidate “will be located” in North Carolina, but can sell in the entire Mid-Atlantic region, (as well as NJ/NY, and/or in the MA/CT area).
 
The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record in sales, a strategic mindset, and the ability to effectively solve complex problems and offer tailored solutions that address the specific needs of the customers. The successful Sales Representative will sell the multiple services of the Healthcare group, which includes an emphasis on Pharmaceutical commercial printing and packaging and associated sheetfed (UV &amp; conventional) offset printing, flexo, direct mail services, fulfillment and kitting, digital, print-on-demand, and technology-related solutions.
 
Qualifications • Proven expertise in new business development with a focus on pharmaceutical and healthcare industries. • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required, plus a minimum of 3-5+ years of outside B2B sales experience in packaging, printing, or direct marketing. Pharmaceutical sales required. • Exceptional interpersonal, persuasion, and communication skills, capable of engaging effectively at all organizational levels. • Highly organized, self-motivated, and driven by an entrepreneurial spirit. • The candidate must be proficient in competitive market analysis and adept at navigating industry trends and dynamics. • Advanced computer skills and familiarity with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce. • Required to travel within the assigned territory, valid driver’s license necessary.

This is an opportunity to be employed or contracted with a Galt Phranchisee, Grit Rx, LLC., who is licensed to promote and market Galt Pharmaceuticals products in the Camden, NJ territory.
 
Galt Management Services provides Business Development and Territory Management for Galt Phranchise Business Owners who are licensed to market Galt Pharmaceuticals products. Galts pharmaceutical offerings are developed to enhance the quality of life of patients with products that meet unmet clinical needs. Current products marketed are in the sleep, pain and oral thrush markets.
 
The role of the Business Development Representative is to develop and manage accounts within the territory through provider offices and retail distribution, while effectively managing expenses. The Business Development Representative position requires a unique set of business skills (e.g. financial and data analysis) to profitably manage franchise activities as a surrogate for the Phranchise Owner.This position requires sales experience with a Business Owner mentality. Incumbents and candidates who possess an entrepreneurial spirit, and the ability to identify both opportunities and solutions that result in a value-based relationship with accounts as well as profitably make a return on investment for the Phranchise Owner are well suited for this dynamic and challenging position.
 
Responsibilities:
 
Business Development

<li>Develops the territory franchise as a business profit center.</li>
<li>Develops the business plan to achieve sales goals which includes Account Identification, Marketing Initiatives, Expense Allocations, and Time Management.</li>
<li>Develops a minimum of 20 accounts which result in Galt 10 parameters.</li>
<li>Develops strategic partnerships with healthcare practices and pharmacies.</li>
<li>Participates in Territory Business Reviews with Phranchise Owners.</li>
<li>Collaborates with corporate business functions (marketing, supply chain, operations, sales) to share creativity and results which leads to best practices across the organization.</li>

Territory Management
<ul>
<li>Represents Galt Pharmaceuticals through a demonstrated understanding of Galts Vision and Principles.</li>
<li>Understands the social/political culture of communities within the franchised territory.</li>
<li>Performs data analysis to evaluate targeting, trends and prospecting.</li>
<li>Uses tools such as CRM, sales and prescription data to measure performance and activities.</li>
<li>Approaches territory management through people centricity rather than by targeting competitive products.</li>
<li>Represents Galt Pharmaceuticals within the territory as A Better Way to deliver pharmaceutical care, one patient at a time.</li>
