Join our team as a Lifeguard for the Coral Casino Beach &amp; Cabana Club! 
The Club, located at Butterfly Beach in Santa Barbara, is one of the most elite social clubs in the world. The Lifeguard is responsible for implementing all water safety policies and procedures. Supervises Members and guests in and around the swimming pool, kiddie pool, jacuzzi, and cold plunge. Collaborates with other pool team employees to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all pool guests. 
This position is compensated at $20/hr.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

<li>Must be at least 15 years of age.</li>
<li>Certification in CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer, First Aid, and Lifeguarding (YMCA, Red Cross, or equivalent).</li>
<li>Approved Mandatory Child Abuse Reporting Certification.</li>
<li>Emergency procedures training.</li>
<li>Must maintain certification-level physical and mental readiness.</li>
<li>Demonstrated ability to perform all lifeguard skills to YMCA standards.</li>
<li>Understands that the YMCA is committed to compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).</li>
</ul>
 
REQUIRED TRAINING AND CERTIFICATIONS (or willingness to obtain upon hire):

<li>YMCA-approved Bloodborne Pathogens Training</li>
<li>Mandatory Child Abuse Reporting Certification</li>
<li>Emergency Procedures Training</li>

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
