Elizabethtown College invites applicants to apply for a full-time position of&nbsp;Lecturer in Physician Assistant Studies. There are 2 positions available. Each position is a permanent 12-month faculty position to begin&nbsp;January 1, 2024&nbsp;with regular annual renewal, pending satisfactory performance. The Physician Assistant Program is a graduate program housed within the School of Human and Health Professions, which is grounded in the mission of Elizabethtown College: Educate for Service. Job Duties:
Successful colleagues will provide evidence of effective teaching and clinical work as well as be prepared to offer courses in both the didactic and clinical years. Primary responsibilities will be to didactic year students; however, all principal faculty will be fully integrated into the clinical year of the program and will provide graduate level instruction in all phases of the program. This position will assist the program director in the review, planning and development of the program. The candidate will participate in the accreditation process including ongoing course assessments, student assessments, remediation, faculty/staff assessments, program assessments, competency evaluations, accreditation site visits and data collection. This position actively participates in student recruitment and admissions (both undergraduate and graduate physician assistant studies) and student advising (both undergraduate and undergraduate). The position includes emphasis on service and scholarly activities for one’s own growth and development and the benefit of the institution and program. Candidates should have a strong interest in designing enriching experiences for students that foster community engagement, holistic views of medicine and deeper understanding of human behavior. Physician Assistant Program Faculty, Lecturer

The University of Wisconsin (UW) Primary Care Research Fellowship is recruiting fellows to join the Fall 2023 cohort. The fellowship has been continuously funded by the Health Resources and Service Administration as a T32 for over 30 years, and typically supports 2 years of research career training.&nbsp;&nbsp;
A principal objective of the Primary Care Research Fellowship is to train primary care physicians and PhD scientists interested in careers in medical research related to the organization, delivery, or effectiveness of primary health care and preventive medicine.&nbsp;
Research project completion, published papers, and grant proposals are the main goals for fellows. The fellowship is open to physicians or PhD-level health professionals aiming for research-centered careers who could benefit from 2 years of protected time, intensive mentorship, and research support. Areas of scholarly focus should be related to primary care but are otherwise not restricted. We encourage fellows to aim for NIH funding, and our trainees have received K-grants, R-grants, or other prestigious awards.&nbsp;

Primary Care Research Fellowship

Assistant/Associate Teaching Professor of Environmental Science 
The Department of Geography and the Environment at Villanova University invites applications for an Assistant or Associate Teaching Professor (continuing non-tenure track) position in Environmental Science starting in August 2024. We seek a colleague to teach in the environmental sciences to support the growth of the Department’s undergraduate programs. A Ph.D. in environmental science or a related field is required. Exceptional candidates with at least six years of full-time undergraduate teaching experience will be considered for the rank of Associate Teaching Professor. Opportunities for promotion to Associate Teaching Professor and Full Teaching Professor exist with demonstrated excellence and leadership in teaching, ongoing scholarly engagement, and a strong record of service to the institution. The position is a 9-month academic appointment, and the incumbent will teach 16 contact hours per semester (for example, one course consisting of three hours of lecture plus three three-hour labs per week, or two separate courses each consisting of three hours of lecture and three-hours in lab each week). Our new colleague will primarily teach the two-semester introductory environmental science lecture and laboratory sequence for undergraduate Environmental Science and Environmental Studies majors, and there is also the opportunity to develop and teach more advanced courses and/or courses for non-majors. Stanford Department of African and African American Studies Open Rank: Black Studies in the Arts

The Department of Romance Languages and Literatures seeks to hire a tenure-track professor of French and Francophone literatures and cultures specializing in any of the periods prior to the nineteenth century, from the Middle Ages to the aftermath of the French Revolution. We are looking for a scholar who envisions their research within a capacious conception of the spaces, texts, and times involved in pre-1800 French and Francophone studies. We are especially interested in approaches that place literature and cultural expressions in conversation with interdisciplinary fields such as gender and sexuality studies, decolonial studies, and the environmental humanities. Demonstrated strong commitment to teaching is crucial, as is the ability to capture the interest of a diverse student body.&nbsp;
The Department will consider candidates with a PhD from disciplines other than French Studies, but fluency in French is required. Doctorate required by the time the appointment begins on July 1, 2024. The tenure-track professor will be responsible for teaching four courses a year and supervising theses at both the undergraduate and graduate level.

Primary Responsibilities:&nbsp;
Business Office&nbsp;- Responsible for the accurate accounting and budgeting of appropriated and non-appropriated funds to include payroll and student accounts. Human Resources&nbsp;- Responsible for talent acquisition, salary administration, employee training, and appropriate application of&nbsp;&nbsp;HR policies, procedures, and practices. May coordinate on the process of position creation and management. Student Financial Aid&nbsp;- Responsible for accurate accounting and disbursement of student financial aid; federal funds, scholarships, grants, waivers, and awards used by students for tuition, books, and fees. Facilities Management&nbsp;- Responsible for the maintenance and cleaning of all buildings and grounds of the University.&nbsp;&nbsp;Provides oversight for new construction and renovation of buildings. Campus Safety and Security&nbsp;- Provides security services 24/7, Clery Act reporting, and safety measures. &nbsp;Information Technology Center&nbsp;- Provides for the physical infrastructure, security and support of all campus network and communication lines, computers and related I.T. equipment on campus. Bookstore&nbsp;- Responsible for the oversight of bookstore operations (currently contracted with Barnes &amp; Noble) Coordination with North Dakota University System office&nbsp;- Responds to requests for information from the NDUS and SBHE, assists with presentations as necessary and serves as a member of the NDUS Administrative Affairs Council. Budget Administration&nbsp;- Coordinates the budget requests and development processes. Serves on the Strategic Planning and Budget Council.&nbsp;&nbsp;Serves on the Faculty Senate Salary and Budget Committee. Contract Administration&nbsp;- Executes most contracts and works with assigned attorney to ensure compliance with state laws. &nbsp;
Secondary Responsibilities:
Dining Services&nbsp;- Coordinates with the VPSA to manage the food services contract (currently contracted with Sodexo).&nbsp;&nbsp;Sets board rates in conjunction with food services personnel. Residence Life&nbsp;- Coordinates with the VPSA to maintain residence halls for safety, security, and student satisfaction.&nbsp;&nbsp;Accounts for charges and receipts regarding student residence fees.&nbsp;&nbsp;Sets room rates in connection with residence life personnel. Dakota College at Bottineau&nbsp;- Coordinates with DCB personnel to provide advice and assistance as necessary.

Vice President of Administration and Finance

The Management and Organization (MOR) Department at the USC-Marshall School of Business seeks to hire new tenure-track faculty members in Strategy to begin in Fall 2024. We welcome applications from candidates at all ranks. We seek candidates who are or have the potential to become, leading scholars on topics relevant to strategy and organizations, including but not limited to innovation, entrepreneurship, corporate social responsibility, alliances, innovation, and/or corporate strategy.&nbsp; We are also looking for displayed capability in teaching.
The MOR department is interdisciplinary; our 23 tenured/tenure-track faculty members span organizational behavior, organization theory, and strategy and have a variety of backgrounds, including psychology, sociology, economics, and general management/strategy. In the strategy area, research interests are broad, and faculty complement publishing in management and strategy journals with publications in discipline journals. Salary is dependent on qualifications, and employee benefits for full-time faculty are excellent.&nbsp; The annual base salary range for this position is $165,750 - $420,370.
