The Sr Manager I for Operation and Business Configuration will function as a primary point of contact for the claims analytical support unit which consists of data analytics, process improvement and claims clearinghouse vendor oversight. The incumbent will collaborate with leadership on the development and implementation of analytical tools to identify department trends and will manage dedicated resources for the day-to-day operations to carry out the strategic and tactical execution of CalOptima Health business operations, ensuring compliance with business rules and government regulations. <li>Participates in CalOptima Health's enterprise projects impacting claims or operational payments and procedures/policies.</li>

<li>Ensures compliance with applicable internal policies and procedures and external state and federal regulations for multiple product lines (Medi-Cal, Medicare, Commercial (Covered California) and Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE). Ensures overall claims adjudication is in accordance with the California Department of Managed Health Care (DMHC), California Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) and Centers for Medicare &amp; Medicaid Services (CMS) health plan regulatory requirements and guidelines.</li>
<li>Intakes and reviews All Plan Letters (APL), CMS bulletins and regulatory guidance; oversees the development, timely and accurate implementation and publication/posting of claims-related regulatory requirements and reporting.</li>
<li>Serves as the primary point of contact to answer questions related to system configuration business rules, various claim adjudication issues and resolves complex claims or benefit adjudication issues for department staff as well as other internal customers; responsible for the identification and resolution of provider claim issues including support of provider education and customer service staff in communications back to providers.</li>
<li>Reviews and maintains department policies and procedures, recommends changes for more efficient operations, drafts new policies and procedures for director's review, communicates changes and updates to staff when appropriate.</li>

<ul>
<li>Develops the claims data standards and deploys automation tools to obtain and process claims data from different sources. Constructs datasets to analyze, inform, identify trends and support stakeholder decision-making.</li>
<li>Identifies claims transaction inconsistencies, as well as implementation of controls and changes to systems and policies that support claims adjudication, thereby minimizing incorrect claims payment.</li>
<li>Manages activities/service requests with Facets configuration, IT and EDI teams to scope, prioritize, and implement requirement changes.</li>
<li>Manages and intakes all program implementation impacting Facets and systems supporting the Claims, Grievance and Appeals Resolution Services (GARS)/Provider Dispute Resolution (PDR) and Customer Service operations. </li>

 Minimum Qualifications:

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
<ul>Plan and implement invasive plant management efforts in the Franklin, Owen, and Henry County region of Kentucky.Identify and track invasive plant populations and management efforts in the target region.Develop public and professional training and education opportunities and support partner efforts.Provide technical guidance to landowners and professional partners regarding invasive plant management practices and situations.Pursue funding opportunities and develop new partnerships related to invasive plant management.Safely and efficiently operate university vehicles, herbicide application equipment, chainsaws and other land management implements. Associate Director, Operations & Annual Giving

The University of Virginia’s <a href="https://communications.virginia.edu/" target="_blank">Office of Communications</a> seeks an experienced public relations professional to help the institution share its story through effective earned media. The Director of Media Relations will successfully develop a strategy that is derived from <a href="https://strategicplan.virginia.edu/" target="_blank">UVA’s Great and Good 2030</a> plan to drive positive media coverage of institutional news, events, and achievements that reflect the University’s mission and contribution to the Commonwealth, nation, and world. The Director will serve as an important connector between university leaders, academic experts, and public audiences that can be reached through traditional and digital media channels.
Key Responsibilities: 
<ul>
<li>Builds and manages relationships with targeted members of the media primarily at national, regional, and trade media outlets.</li>
<li>Collaborates with communications staff across the University to coordinate and support earned media efforts at the school and unit level in the service of a unified earned media strategy.</li>
<li>Uses media relations software and tools regularly to assess news trends and increase UVA’s share of voice on key topics.</li>
<li>Monitors and analyzes key metrics to determine the reach and effectiveness of university media relations efforts and devises strategies for improvement.</li>
<li>Builds, manages, and maintains print, broadcast and digital media lists based on university priorities and areas of expertise.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Writes and distributes media advisories, press releases and story pitches, and manage media relations software and tools for pitching and placement.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Creates and supervises media opportunities, including press conferences, interviews, and media roundtables, to elevate University voices within timely news topics.</li>
<li>Plays a central role in advancing thought leadership efforts on behalf of senior University leaders, academic experts, and other key officials.</li>
<li>Supports University issues management and crisis response efforts as needed.&nbsp;</li>
</ul>
Skills and Competencies:
<ul>
<li>Proven track record of successfully pitching content for earned media coverage, with outstanding news judgment.</li>
<li>Ability to engage and work collaboratively across teams and departments, inside and outside the organization.</li>
<li>Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills, public presentation skills.</li>
<li>Ability to operate effectively in a deadline-driven communications environment.</li>
<li>Proficiency with modern communications and analytics tools.</li>
<li>Working knowledge of social and digital marketing landscape.</li>
<li>Discretion to manage confidential and sensitive matters.</li>
</ul>
Required Experience: 
<ul>
<li>Director of Media Relations candidates must have a bachelor’s degree and at least seven years, or master's degree with at least five years, of relevant professional experience.</li>
<li>Senior Director of Media Relations candidates will be distinguished from Director of Media Relations candidates based upon advanced experience and management of complex media relations and PR assignments, including relevant professional experience providing program oversight and progressive contribution to strategic priorities.</li>
</ul>
Anticipated Hiring Range:
<ul>
<li>$100,000 to $122,000, commensurate with experience.</li>
<li>Additional compensation may be considered for Senior Director candidates with advanced experience.</li>
