This position is responsible for accurately receiving purchasing orders into our ERP system and placing them in the proper finished goods area. Packing product to our specifications, loading and unloading trucks. Complete shipping documentation, including BOL, CI and packing lists. Scheduling shipping pickup, printing shipping manifesting, printing labels and putting them on the proper boxes for those orders via our ERP system and the carrier’s website.

 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

<li>Incoming material discrepancies are documented and reported in a timely manner.</li>
<li>Constantly monitors product quality by ensuring the safe and careful movement and storage of materials.</li>
<li>May be required to drive the company truck to deliver or pick up materials.</li>
<li>Maintains an inventory of packaging materials.</li>
<li>Using a circular saw and pneumatic tools, builds crates and skids to ensure damage free movement of materials.</li>
<li>Packages and protects all outbound material.</li>
<li>Identifies shipping damage.</li>
<li>Compare material certs to actual.</li>
<li>Maintain books of general specifications to GTC quality procedures.</li>
<li>Record in computer all required purchasing records.</li>
</ul>
 DESIRABLE KNOWLEDGE/EDUCATION
<ul>
<li>High school diploma or equivalent required.</li>
<li>Must be a US citizen.</li>
</ul>
DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE/SKILL
<ul>
<li>Minimum of two years of progressive experience in shipping and receiving.</li>
<li>Above average PC skills and the ability to master an ERP system.</li>
<li>Minimum of two years of experience driving a forklift and the ability to safely move large and expensive parts.</li>

To maintain 100% accuracy to all customer shipments and vendor receipts. Ensure activities on dock are prioritized based on expectations.

Requirements
Shipping &amp; Receiving:
•Sends accurate and timely ASNs.
•Schedules customer shipments based on customer directives and distributes as needed to internal and external teams.
