We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Shipping/Receiving Parts Specialist to ensure smooth operations in our shipping department. This role is crucial in maintaining the efficiency and accuracy of our shipping processes and involves a variety of responsibilities from packaging to using shipping software.
Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Complete the daily shipping report.</li>
<li>Use computer software to ship, track, check, and route orders.</li>
<li>Answer emails and questions regarding shipments.</li>
<li>Package parts per instructions; complete related documents such as packing slips, inspection documents, shipping-related work orders, labels, and bills of lading.</li>
<li>Report to management or lead on activities and issues.</li>
<li>Perform visual and dimensional inspection on SLA parts prior to packaging.</li>
<li>Order shipping-related supplies as needed.</li>
<li>Ensure work areas are kept clean and orderly.</li>
</ul>
Essential Skills
<ul>
<li>Experience in shipping and receiving.</li>
<li>Proficiency in data entry and production tasks.</li>
<li>Strong computer skills, including MS Office.</li>
<li>Knowledge of UPS Worldship and FedEx Shipping programs.</li>
<li>Experience with international shipping is a huge plus.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Verbal and written communication skills.</li>
<li>Moderate physical activity required by handling objects up to 50 pounds occasionally and/or up to 30 pounds frequently.</li>
<li>Attention to detail and quality conscious.</li>
<li>Ability to use basic measuring tools.</li>
<li>Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.</li>
<li>Organizational and communication skills.</li>
<li>Good knowledge of forklift operation.</li>

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr.
