Job Description The Nevada System of Higher Education (NSHE) invites applications for the position of Executive Director of Operations. This is a renewable, full-time, non-tenured, administrative position and reports to the Chancellor. The position may be located in either Reno or Las Vegas, Nevada. The NSHE is comprised of eight institutions: two universities, a state university, four community colleges and a research institute. The Executive Director of Operations provides strategic and administrative leadership for cross-functional operational services that support the mission and effectiveness of System Administration (SA). Providers should be comfortable working in a brief therapy model Support alcohol screening and brief intervention that dovetails with the Academy’s conduct system Provide consultation and training to faculty and staff on issues affecting the social and emotional needs of students Develop and facilitate outreach programming in the form of health promotion events, psychoeducational presentations, or therapy groups, with a particular focus on substance use education. Flexibility to occasionally work outside of normal business hours to facilitate such events Related case management duties include coordinating with students, their families, off-campus treatment providers, and on campus support services Risk assessment and related crisis intervention duties Participation in a portion (maximum of 3 weeks) of Sea Term, providing counseling and programming aboard the Academy’s training ship Working in partnership with student-led organizations and committees which focus on campus wellness initiatives While rare, the provider could also be responsible for coordinating emergency psychiatric evaluations, including involuntary psychiatric holds (“Section 12”) with staff eligible to apply for such holds, or in coordination with other Academy clinicians and local emergency services Follow all related departmental and Academy protocols and procedures, including standards for documentation and</li>

CURRICULAR DESIGN AND TEACHING
Oversee the development and delivery of an integrated curriculum in foundational sciences.
Develop and deliver pre-matriculation content that supports student success in the early medical school curriculum.
Develop and deliver a course for USMLE Step 1 preparation.
Develop and deliver a course for USMLE Step 2 preparation.
Ensure students have sufficient curricular and co-curricular content that is appropriate and well-aligned with USMLE and NBME content specifications.
Champion and facilitate basic science-clinical science integration throughout the curriculum.
Provide leadership in identification and problem-solving of student and faculty challenges with curricular content.
ACADEMIC SUCCESS TEAM LEADERSHIP
Lead a team of faculty assigned to advise and tutor students at risk.
Assist students who seek help and/or face challenges in the M1 and M2 academic years including preparation for USMLE licensure exams.
CURRICULUM LEADERSHIP
Serve as administrative chair of the Pre-Clerkship Curriculum Sub-Committee.
Advise M1 and M2 course directors with respect to content and format alignment with USMLE examinations.
Participates in educational scholarly work.

We are seeking a Service Delivery Director to lead and oversee the Aquatics department, which includes the supervision of staff. A primary continued focus of this role will be the growth of aquatics programing and over-all branch membership, aiming to enhance our community impact and organizational reach.
This position will be located at the Chester YMCA.
 Key Responsibilities •The Director will be responsible for staff development, program enhancement, and member engagement. •The Director will oversee our swim lesson program, supervise and schedule lifeguards, manage our water exercise schedule and instructors, and ensure the cleanliness and safety of our pool. •Responsibilities include developing and implementing programs; coordination and scheduling of swim lessons and other programs; on deck supervision of programs and lifeguards; and teaching their own group swim lessons or providing in-water support for instructors teaching lessons throughout the week. •The Director will work closely and collaboratively with other departments to engage members and provide excellent service, as well as partnering with schools and community members.
This is a hands-on position that will require afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
Qualifications: Candidates must have at least two years of aquatics management experience, strong interpersonal and organizational skills, and demonstrate the ability to successfully create and run programs, and build relationships with members and staff. Attention to detail and leadership skills are essential in this role. A Bachelor's degree is preferred. Applicants must also have current CPR-Pro, AED, First Aid, 02, and YMCA/Red Cross/Ellis lifeguard certifications. YMCA Swim Lesson Instructor certification and experience are preferred. Trainer-level and water fitness certifications are desired, but not required.
