Job Description The Nevada System of Higher Education (NSHE) invites applications and nominations for the position of Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). This is a renewable, full-time, non-tenured, administrative position and reports to the Vice Chancellor and Chief General Counsel. The position may be located in either Las Vegas or Reno, Nevada. The NSHE is comprised of eight institutions: two universities, a state college, four community colleges and research institute. The public system of higher education in Nevada continues to experience growth with significant opportunities in serving over 105,000 students and 15,000 employees. The Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) provides strategic leadership and input to the Chancellor and Cabinet on NSHE's strategic planning process and administration. The CHRO works directly with NSHE administrators in the development, coordination, implementation and administration of policies and procedures, ensuring legal compliance and alignment with NSHE's mission, values, and talent strategy to support the workforce needs of System Administration, which includes the System Computing Services unit (SA). Minimum Qualifications:
Baccalaureate degree in finance, administration, accounting, or a directly related discipline from a regionally accredited institution.&nbsp; Minimum of eight (8) years successful and progressive experience and background in leadership and administrative roles, with direct and administrative fiscal experience in a college or university setting Outstanding communication skills&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Graduate degree in finance, administration, accounting, or a directly related field or CPA certification preferred

Vice President of Administration and Finance

Kent State University Libraries seeks a collaborative and forward-thinking librarian&nbsp;to join our Student and Research Success team as our Social Sciences and Assessment Librarian. The successful candidate will promote a culture of assessment within University Libraries and lead efforts on assessment related to library services, including access, outreach, and instruction. We are looking for a self-motivated colleague with a commitment to inclusive and equity-minded assessment and the ability to successfully coordinate and/or support multiple assessment projects simultaneously. In addition, the incumbent will provide outreach, instruction and research support for assigned academic units, and engage in commonly shared public service duties.
The Social Sciences and Assessment Librarian will join a team that fulfills a variety of public services functions, including instruction and research, statistical consulting, access services, copyright and digital scholarship, specialized branch libraries, and the multi-media studio.
