EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Masters' degree in advanced nursing practice in psychiatry from an accredited program. New York State license and registration as a Nurse Practitioner in Psychiatry. Current DEA registration. Certification required in Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) (i.e. suboxone). 
 
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Substantial clinical experience with the diagnosis and treatment of the entire spectrum of mental disorders, in outpatient and/or inpatient settings. Experience will include management of seriously and persistently ill clients as well as those with psychiatric and co-occurring substance abuse disorders. Familiarity with current DSM criteria.
 
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

<li>Provides psychiatric and substance abuse care and medication to appropriate clients applying standards of care consistent with good medical judgment and current practice in the psychiatric community. This can include the administration of intramuscular medication when appropriate.</li>
<li>Provides psychiatric and substance abuse examination for the purpose of diagnostic evaluation, determination of treatment needs and prognostic factors. Instruct and counsel patients regarding the following:

<li>Facilitate the referral of patient to other health care providers and specialists when appropriate </li>

<li>Assure the vision, mission, and strategic goals of the organization are integrated into all clinical and is preserved in all patient, customer, and partner contacts.</li>
<li>Collaborate with Medical Director, Psych Medical Director, and Clinical Director regarding treatment protocols.</li>
</ul>

Required Education, Experience and Credentials:
 Masters degree as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
 Current MN license as a nurse practitioner 
 Current board certification 
Additional Position Details: (hours, locations, commute) 
 Standard work hours Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and other hours as necessary to support and oversee business operations and initiatives.

 This position requires working on-site and rotating between Twin Cities locations.

Compensation:
$115,000.00-$140,000.00 annually for 1.0 FTE.The compensation range represents the low and high end of the base compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, qualifications, education, internal equity and business needs.
