About the Position The Advancement Director is a senior leadership role responsible for the strategic vision and management of SELT's vibrant and successful fundraising and donor engagement programs. Foundation and Membership Support: • In collaboration with the Outreach and Education Director, identify and pursue foundation funding opportunities; maintain select institutional donor relationships. • Oversee administration of SELT's membership program, including appeals, communications, and events to deepen member engagement. Ensure a seamless integration of membership efforts with overall fundraising strategy. • Plan and implement membership growth strategies to help SELT achieve a 50% increase in its donor base by 2030. The college looks to LPAC’s new Executive Director to articulate an artistic vision that reflects LaGuardia’s mission and core values. The Executive Director will assess LPAC’s current operations, programs, and systems with a fresh perspective and develop a new operating model that enables programmatic and organizational growth through strategic fundraising, business development, and operational and facility improvements.&nbsp;
Duties &amp; Responsibilities&nbsp;

Organizational Management and Oversight

Contributed and Earned Revenue Growth

<li>Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising plan, securing philanthropic gifts, sponsorships, government grants, and strategic partnerships.</li>
<li>Increase earned revenue from performances, venue rentals, and public programs.</li>
<li>Identify and secure new earned and contributed revenue sources.</li>
<li>Significantly reduce LPAC’s historic dependence on operating subsidies from the college.</li>

Programming and Events
<ul>
<li>Provide strategic direction, establish priorities, and clearly define goals for LPAC’s programming.</li>
<li>Work closely with the Humanities Department, in particular with faculty from the Theatre, Film and Television, and Music Performance programs, to ensure that LPAC supports LaGuardia’s students’ needs and their educational progress.</li>
<li>Collaborate with the Office of Academic Affairs, Academic Departments, the Division of Student Affairs, and other college divisions, departments, and units to meet their diverse needs.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Coordinate the performance contracting process for commercial and rental events; Review, amend, and approve contracts; Ensure requirements are satisfied as required.</li>
<li>Collaborate with college faculty and leadership to maximize opportunities for student involvement in LPAC programs in order to promote experiential learning, mentorship, and professional development.&nbsp;</li>
</ul>
Marketing, Communications, and Outreach
<ul>
<li>In coordination with the college’s Office of Communications and External Affairs, plan and promote public relations, marketing, and media relations activities to publicize LPAC and its programming.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Serve as a confident and knowledgeable public speaker on behalf of LPAC.</li>
<li>Identify, establish, develop, and maintain relationships with business, political, and other community leaders to create partnerships and secure resources for LPAC.</li>
<li>Work with the Artistic Director on strategies to expand LPAC’s subscriber base and increase box office revenue.&nbsp;</li>

Minimum Qualifications
<ul>
<li>5 years’ related experience directly working in a corporate or government communications or public relations with a Bachelor’s degree preferably in journalism, communications, public relations, or related field</li>
<li>Excellent work ethic, resolute integrity, detail oriented with a commitment to delivering a high-quality and accurate work product with a track record of putting the success of the team first</li>
<li>Ability to assess potential effects of decisions on public attitudes, effectively apprise Director of Corporate Communications and Vice President of Corporate Communications, Events and Marketing of such factors and help inform decision making for public response</li>
<li>Excellent writing, journalistic, presentation, and interpersonal skills that resonate with a variety of audiences; ability to communicate persuasively, concisely and unambiguously </li>
<li>Strong project management skills; ability to work well under pressure and a respect for internal and external deadlines; manage multiple diverse activities simultaneously, deliver on commitments and varying deadlines, and operate/make decisions with speed, accuracy and strong judgment</li>
<li>Strong computer skills (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Asana, etc.)</li>

Preferred Qualifications

Travel Requirements

RESPOND, Inc. is seeking a Child Development Center Director. The Director assists in the overall management of the curriculum, oversees the physical facility, and manages staff and the overall image of the center under the direction of the Director of Early Childhood Education. The Director should be organized, energetic, someone who will dedicate themselves to the mission of Respond; and must be comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment while taking initiative to resolve complex issues. This is a full time, exempt position, Monday through Friday. Duties/Responsibilities:

<li>Is a member of total team effort in maintaining best possible environment for children</li>
<li>Implements classroom curriculum</li>
<li>Maintains on-going relationships with all employees, parents, and stakeholders</li>
<li>Is a part of team effort in initial intake work and parent conferences</li>

<li>Directs the mission of the positive development (physical, mental, emotional, and social) of children involved in the program</li>
