This is a part-time, on-campus position working 15 hours per week including weekend hours.
SCOPE OF WORK: Performs general safety and security functions associated with patrolling, inspecting, and securing buildings and grounds, enforcing rules and regulations, responding to alarms and incidents, assisting the community and public and maintaining records. This position shall report to the College Safety &amp; Security Supervisor at Manchester Community College.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:

<li>Ensures the safety and welfare of the college community by providing emergency services, routine campus patrols on campus, security buildings, facilitating traffic flow and enforcing parking regulations. </li>
<li>Identifies safety hazards and takes the necessary actions to eliminate or report them. </li>

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: High school diploma or high school equivalency. 
Experience: Two years' experience in law enforcement work as a security guard/officer, police officer, corrections officer, or military police officer. Each additional year of approved formal education may be substituted for one year of experience. 
Licensure/Certifications: Valid New Hampshire drivers’ license.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

The Community Life Lead (CLL) position is a part of the Community Life Team and is responsible for contributing to the relational engagement and care of Denver Rescue Mission’s (DRM) guests at the Lawrence Street Community Center, Lawrence Street Shelter and/or Emergency Shelter(s) operated by DRM.?The CLL will have a clear presence of DRM Leadership, responsibility and care for these facilities (inside and out) and the activities that take place therein, bringing issues of concern to the attention of the Community Life Supervisor or, in their absence, the Director of Community Life. 
 RESPONSIBILITIES
Unique Service Coordination?
<ul>
<li>Coordinates the Community Life staff to meet the needs and requirements of the assigned facility, as outlined by the Director of Community Life, in line with Denver Rescue Mission policies and procedures following the direction of the shift Supervisor.??? </li>
<li>Coordinates staff for the assigned shift and site(s), as well as assigned emergency or support services, as assigned by the Community Life Team and/or other Shelter Leadership. Focus areas include but are not limited to 1) Safety and Security; 2) Community Involvement; 3) Housekeeping; 4) Supply Ordering and Inventory; 5) Resource Room.??? </li>
<li>This position works under the direction of the Shift Supervisor and provides leadership and direction to Community Life staff and facility in the absence of the Supervisor in the location the CLL is assigned.? </li>
</ul>
Staff Oversight
<ul>
<li>Under the direction of the Shift Supervisor, assists with the oversight of shift staff to provide adequate coverage of the facility, meets the needs of the guests and executes scheduled events. Serves as the primary point of contact for staff in the absence of the Shift Supervisor.? </li>
<li>Provides directions for staff to follow Denver Rescue Mission policies and procedures and established practices by engaging and directing staff.? </li>
<li>Ensures that staff records all incidents into SCRIBE, correctly applying DRM policies, procedures and practices to recording incidents and applying Asked to Leave’s (ATLs) when needed.? </li>
<li>Brings all areas of concern to the attention of the Shift Supervisor and in their absence to the attention of the Director.?? </li>
</ul>
Security and Safety
<ul>
<li>The CLL is responsible for the security and safety of the facility and the guests during their shift. This may require administering CPR or other First Aid Procedures but does not include any type of medical procedure. It is also the responsibility of the CLL to see that situations that could jeopardize the safety of the Mission and its occupants are handled appropriately.?The CLL must deal with difficult and unruly guests and work towards keeping the Shelter free from weapons and the active use of drugs and alcohol in the Shelter by guests.? </li>
<li>Sees to the welfare of guests outside of the shelter by calling police, ambulances or?opening or providing shelter from the elements especially during weather emergencies.? </li>
<li>Monitors and relays weather information to the Community Life Supervisor and/or Director of Community Life in case overflow is needed. </li>
<li>Immediately notifies the Director of emergency situations including events such as fire, flood, death, or other incidents of concern.? </li>
<li>Completes a shift report that is sent to the Shift Supervisor, Director and Senior Director to communicate items of interest, concern, and items that need additional attention. </li>

Support of other Departments and Partners
<ul>
<li>Works with the Homeless Resolution Team, to provide an environment that is supportive of their efforts, with the overarching goal of Community Life being that of exiting individuals from homelessness.? </li>
<li>Supports Guest Services’ efforts to safely enroll and scan guests into shelter and responds to communicated needs in a timely manner.? </li>
<li>Supports and facilitates the efforts of the Operations Team, including custodial, kitchen, maintenance and other DRM departments.? </li>
<li>Supports the approved efforts of outside agencies and community partners to meet the needs of our guests.?These efforts must be pre-approved by the Director of Community Life.? </li>

Facilities
<ul>
<li>Cleanliness: The CLL ensures that the Mission is cleaned according to the established standard.?This includes daily cleaning, removal, dispersion, or storage of all clutter, trash, donations, parking lot trash, sidewalks, etc.?There should not be an unnecessary accumulation of anything. If the Shelter needs anything beyond what is normally understood to be mandatory, it must be cleared by the Director of Community Life.? </li>
<li>Inventory:?The CLL follows the established means of receiving, recording, monitoring and distribution of inventory supplies purchased by the Mission for the daily operations and maintaining of the Shelters.?? </li>
<li>Maintenance:?Through daily inspections the CLL generates a list of work orders and submits them to DRM Maintenance portal or City of Denver Maintenance.? </li>
<li>Schedule: Ensures that all services are started and finished according to schedule.?(Chapel, Bed Check-in, Showers, Staging). </li>

Other

<li>The CLL understands their role in the daily running of the Mission, including each specific shift's area of focus: cleanliness, bed check-in, and facility safety.? </li>
<li>The CLL has a good working knowledge of the facility and program policies and procedures, operation of the facility, mechanical operation of the facility (including:?fire alarm, electric, gas, and water shut-off, etc.), how to control and track inventory, inventory and use of the maintenance room, pipeline responsibilities, safety, Material Safety Data Sheet guidelines, employee handbook, Shelter handbook, and Gift in Kind receiving and distribution.? </li>

<li>Maintain contact with Pre admission screen agents and ISC agents who are responsible for determining eligibility for services and monitoring services.</li>
<li>Fulfill role as a QIDP for people in CDS and/or individuals with HBS funding by providing self-directed assistance (SDA)to assigned individuals by doing the following:

<li>Oversee the day-to-day oversight and administration of the service plan and for ensuring the health, safety and welfare of the individual.</li>

DESCRIPTION
 
Provides culturally competent and appropriate behavioral health treatment to people served by Community Counseling Solutions (CCS). The position provides the treatment in accordance with the Oregon Administrative Rules (OAR’s) and the mission and values of CCS. The position works closely with other involved community partners and is professional in all aspects of service delivery. Additionally, this position assists administration in meeting the behavioral health needs of the community.

RESPONSIBILITIES
 
Provide clinical services to children, adults and families. This would include but is not limited to screening, assessment, individual and group therapy, consultation, and all other allowed clinical services.
Actively participate in joint case planning and coordination with agency employees and relevant agency contractors. Act as a liaison between clients and other agencies. Act as a client advocate when appropriate.
 
Actively participate in group and individual supervision sessions.
 
Work with other staff and community representatives to initiate new programs, reviews, evaluates and revises existing programs as necessary.
 
Perform joint case planning and coordination in areas of behavioral health with other community agencies including but not limited to: schools, group homes, police organizations, district attorney’s offices, courts, community clinics and hospitals and other agencies in the Department of Human Services.
 
Provide behavioral health and addiction education, prevention and information to various interest groups.
 
Assist other clinicians in the facilitation of groups as requested.
 
Provide after hours emergency services on a 24 hour, rotating basis to adults and children. This includes telephone consultation and crisis intervention in the community.
 
Initiate holds, provide civil commitment investigations, and work with the hospitals, case workers and the state and other individuals/agencies for all individuals in the civil commitment process.
 
Complete all paperwork in a way that is professional, clinically sound and timely as prescribed by the OAR’s and other pertinent guidelines. Required to ensure that all paperwork is present, and/or the client record is well maintained.
 
Attend trainings, meetings, conferences, etc. as directed by administration and use the information gathered to benefit the agency and the customers.
 
Provide intensive children’s treatment services.
 
Utilize agency software/computer systems to prepare current client records of treatment and reports as necessary and required.
 
Transport clients as required
 
Administer forms for urinalysis testing (UA’s), provide accurate information on the UA’s to clients, in some cases observes the UA, and record all pertinent information.
 
Must report all abuse to appropriate legal office, complete all necessary paperwork and investigations, and develop safety plans as required.

CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECKS
 
Must pass all criminal history check requirements as required by ORS 181.536-181.537 and in accordance with OAR 410-007-0200 through 410-007-0380.

This position also provides protective services over college buildings and/or property within the college community by enforcing the laws of the State of Maryland and the rules and regulations of St. John’s College. This is a high-visibility, service-oriented job and a position of the public trust. Lead officers are considered assistant shift supervisors. This is a 40 hour per week position, with sift coverage based on a 24-hour schedule that includes weekends, holidays, and various shifts.
 
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES:

<li>Assist in the evaluating the appropriateness of officer responses; designate assignments; direct needed resources; and interpret laws, ordinances, and department policies and procedures.</li>

Commissioned officers may need to resort to physical force, when appropriate, of individuals attempting to inflict physical harm on themselves or others or commit criminal acts. <li>Working knowledge of higher education issues, such as Title IX and the Clery Act. Officers are Campus Security Authorities and must know proper procedures when critical information is received about crimes or misconduct.</li>

<li>Respond to calls for lockouts and admit authorized personnel to locked buildings and rooms.</li>
<li>Attend internal/external courses, classes, and seminars, to further develop protective services skills and knowledge.</li>
<li>Conduct security patrols on the college under conditions of darkness and inclement weather.</li>
<li>Apply for a Special Police Commission within 90 days of employment and receive the same within six months of employment.</li>

Essential Functions: 
Duties &amp; Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Collects and assesses family background information through interviewing children, families and care providers and reviews documents from police, Child Protective Services, and other agencies. </li>
<li>Refers family reunification cases to partner agencies, and participates in researching, assessing, and recommending family reunification and general care options for youth. </li>
<li>Collaborates with funders and stakeholders engaged in service provision for children, while promoting and evaluating best-interest recommendations based on child welfare best practice standards. </li>
<li>Ensures individual service planning, as well as weekly meetings with minors in care be it individually or groups, to provide case management, psychoeducation preparation for care post-discharge, and linkage supports. </li>
<li>Participates in referring to other programs, including foster care, and the initial preparation of referral. </li>
<li>Manages relationships with multiple parties (i.e., family members, potential sponsors, and stakeholders) and maintain appropriate professional decorum and boundaries when dealing with each. </li>
<li>Provides advanced advocacy, assessment, and case management services to individuals, families and groups and establishes appropriate service/treatment plans, reviews case progress and determines case closure according to program guidelines and standards. </li>
<li>Provides case consultation as appropriate and develops/implements special projects such as the development of informational materials, providing training for other staff in social work and treatment/service theory, and participating in assigned professional and community activities. </li>
<li>Completes all necessary forms, case records and statistical reports in an accurate and in a timely manner and submits such documentation to the supervisor/manager within the designated timelines. </li>
<li>Participates in staff meetings, staffing, working groups as required to support the goals and the overall development and implementation of the agency’s strategic plan.</li>
<li>Supervises program participants individually or in groups when applicable. </li>
<li>Helps program participants to modify attitudes and patterns of behavior by increasing understanding of self, personal problems, and program participant's part in creating them. </li>
<li>Provides transportation of program participants as needed based on funder guidelines.</li>
<li>Assists in household maintenance responsibilities, as necessary.</li>
<li>Develops and maintains professional relationships with social service organizations and government agencies to enhance service delivery and to interpret Organizational programs for outside audiences. </li>
<li>Adheres to professional standards as outlined by governmental bodies, NASW (and/or other appropriate professional associations), private funding sources, Organization plans/policies, and program guidelines.</li>
<li>Participates in periodic evaluative reviews and/or in-house and external staff training to ensure that he/she understands and continues to adhere to such standards.</li>

Education and Experience: 
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in the behavioral sciences, human services or social services fields is required.</li>
<li>Minimum one (1) year of related experience is required.</li>
<li>Bilingualism required based on funder requirements.</li>

Work Arrangement:

Bilingual Case Manager

About the Role:
This Caseworker 3-Screener position reviews referrals coming into the agency and is expected to independently assess and determine disposition regarding which case need to be assigned to an intake caseworker to limit child risk and ensure child safety. This position is expected to work collaboratively with Childline staff to receive, send, and confirm referral information as well as be the point person for implementation for the CWIS system, including training new workers. A caseworker 3 is expected to perform the duties of a lead worker over other lower level workers in the supervisor's absence. 
Minimum Qualifications:

<li>A minimum of two years of experiences as a County Caseworker and</li>
<li>Bachelor's degree with a social welfare major; or is supplemented by 12 college credits in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or related field. </li>
<li>County Caseworker experience can be a combination of County Caseworker 1 and County Caseworker 2 experience, as long as there is at least one year of experience at the County Caseworker 2 level. </li>

The Shelter Support Staff are responsible for completion of various assigned tasks including, but not limited to scheduling client intakes via telephone referral, conducting client interviews and processing guest intake data, and conducting security rounds. The Shelter Support Staff works closely with participants of the King County Shelter Program. Whether providing basic needs, services, or de-escalating negative client interactions, the position receives daily supervision from the King County Shelter Program Manager, Supervisor, or designated assistant.
Duties &amp; Responsibilities

<li>Respond to crisis and inquiry telephone calls by providing support, information, and referrals to other appropriate social service</li>
