Particularly, he/she will work in a collaborative research and development environment involving the advanced materials development for upstream oil and gas applications in the areas of productivity enhancement including fracturing and matrix stimulation fluids, sand control, water shutoff to increase production and recovery from conventional and unconventional reservoirs; and develop new products and technologies in these areas. The increasing size and complexity of Saudi Aramco's producing operations and the related petroleum engineering support requires ASC to have in-house expertise in various specialized areas.&nbsp;
The Engineering Advisor, Senior Engineering Advisor and Engineering Consultant positions provide for this expertise at increasing levels of recognized competence and demonstrated ability to communicate with Management and working associates and to convert technical expertise into practical recommendations regarding budget items, operating procedures, etc. Apart from the broader areas of Reservoir and Production Engineering, specialized areas in which individuals have been previously placed in Advisor and Senior Advisor positions include: Reservoir Simulation, Formulation Evaluation, Completions, and Long-Range Planning.&nbsp;
Advisor and Consultant recommendations have an immediate impact upon operating procedures and new project definitions which often have individual impact in the millions of dollars.&nbsp; These positions will also often head special task forces to solve individual problems.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES:

<li>Leads and/or participates in research and development efforts involving the advanced materials for upstream oil and gas production applications in the areas of productivity enhancement, stimulation fluids, sand control and unconventional gas.</li>
<li>Has laboratory experience in advanced materials and their characterization and oilfield application methodologies.</li>

<li>Develops new intellectual property, work with IP personnel to patent developed technology.</li>
<li>Has ability to disseminate results through high impact journal publications, reports and presentations.</li>
<li>Provides and manages a safe, accident-free laboratory environment and follows all company safety rules in performing job duties.</li>

In this role, you will support the laboratory team by conducting various tests and ensuring quality control for a diverse range of products, including petroleum, gases, and alcohol-based soaps and cleaners. Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Receive, examine, and log inbound samples for testing.</li>
<li>Deliver test samples to the sample staging area.</li>
<li>Monitor the availability of supplies needed for testing processes and communicate needs to the Laboratory Manager.</li>
<li>Perform testing of samples and quality control specimens using specified methodologies after demonstrating proficiency.</li>
<li>Prepare samples, quality control specimens, reagents, and solutions, and calibrate equipment for testing processes.</li>
<li>Verify and communicate results, making appropriate entries into instrument logs, control charts, and laboratory records.</li>
<li>Maintain documentation, equipment, and work areas in a neat, orderly, and safe condition.</li>
<li>Assist in training less experienced employees after demonstrating sufficient proficiency.</li>
</ul>
Essential Skills
<ul>
<li>Experience with ion chromatography, AA, and GC testing.</li>
<li>Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, biochemistry, or a related field with instrumentation experience.</li>
<li>Basic math skills for unit conversions and solution preparation.</li>
</ul>
Additional Skills &amp; Qualifications
<ul>
<li>Exposure to instrumentation techniques such as HPLC, FT-IR, UV/VIS, NMR, Titration, Distillations, and Synthesis.</li>
<li>Industry experience is valued even without a degree if basic exposure to the necessary techniques is evident.</li>
<li>An associate degree is acceptable if complemented by relevant experience.</li>
</ul>
Work Environment
The work environment is a small, family-oriented office located in St. Louis, with a tight-knit team of around 10 people. The lab operates with a flexible shift schedule, including weekends. You will work a total of 40 hours per week, with the option to choose 10-hour or 8-hour shifts. The current shift is 9 AM to 5 PM, with potential changes depending on staffing and client needs. Pay and Benefits

Join a leading Oil &amp; Gas company as a Senior Reservoir Engineer in Houston, TX. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to work on reservoir management, field development planning, and production optimization across major U.S. basins.
 
Key Responsibilities:

<li>Conduct reservoir characterization, modeling, and simulation to optimize recovery.</li>
<li>Perform production forecasting, decline curve analysis, and economic evaluations.</li>
<li>Collaborate with geoscience, drilling, and operations teams to maximize asset value.</li>
<li>Support reserves estimation, reporting, and acquisition evaluations.</li>
</ul>
 
Qualifications:

<li>5+ years of experience in Oil &amp; Gas reservoir engineering.</li>
