As a&nbsp;Patient Access Representative, you will be the first point of contact for patients and families, playing a vital role in delivering compassionate, efficient, and high-quality care. Whether in the Emergency Department, outpatient clinics, or inpatient admitting, your mission is to create a warm, welcoming environment and ensure a seamless registration experience.
Schedule:&nbsp;Rotating 12-hour shifts, up to 40 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
Emergency Department
<ul>
<li>Greet and check in patients arriving via walk-in, ambulance, or helicopter.</li>
<li>Register patients at bedside using portable computers.</li>
<li>Verify and update patient demographics and insurance information in the EMR.</li>
<li>Support Medicare documentation and self-pay processes.</li>
</ul>
Outpatient/Clinic
<ul>
<li>Efficiently locate and update patient records in the EMR.</li>
<li>Verify insurance and demographic information with high accuracy.</li>
<li>Assist with checkout, follow-up scheduling, and answering service-related questions.</li>
</ul>
Main Admitting/Inpatient
<ul>
<li>Support services including lab, radiology, surgery, and inpatient admissions.</li>
<li>Travel to inpatient units for bedside registration as needed.</li>
</ul>
What We’re Looking For
<ul>
<li>2+ years of professional experience</li>
<li>High attention to detail and adaptability in a fast-paced environment</li>
<li>Strong technology skills; EMR experience is a plus</li>
</ul>
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr.

Inomedic Health Applications, Inc. (IHA) is seeking an experienced Patient Registration Specialist who will be responsible for greeting in a courteous and professional manner all incoming patients, visitors, physician's vendors or other individuals.
Requirements:
<ul>
<li>Instruct patients on the completion of intake forms, case histories and other documentation and ensures completion.</li>
<li>Properly secure all medical records and confidential information in accordance with established procedures.</li>
<li>Direct patients through appropriate services maintaining clinic flow.</li>
<li>Escort patients as they make their way through the testing process.</li>
<li>Maintain communications with the Clinic Flow Coordinator to provide necessary information for coordinator to make decisions regarding clinic activities.</li>
<li>Provide administrative support to providers and Occupational Medical Services need’s.</li>
<li>Perform QA audits on all documents for accuracy and completion after services.</li>
<li>Enter data for completion of electronic Record of visit (ROV)</li>
<li>Complete close-out paperwork as patients leaves clinic.</li>
<li>Create and maintain a duplicate medical chart filing system at satellite facility.</li>
<li>Create and maintain DOE audited HRP chart system at the satellite facility.</li>
<li>Ensure patient confidentiality in compliance with IHA Privacy Practices and HIPAA regulations.</li>
<li>Audit end of the day ROV audit reports daily.</li>
<li>Support all case management and provider staff coordinating special requests.</li>
<li>Maintain front desk organization and supply inventory for both facilities.</li>
<li>Answer multi-line telephone, respond to routine inquiries and route as needed, take messages.</li>
<li>Serve as liaison with medical schedulers in assisting customers for follow up appointments and resolving appointment conflicts.</li>
<li>Perform daily close of business procedures for the front desk, which includes securing of all confidential information and facility close of business.</li>
</ul>

This job operates in a clinical environment that may involve bending, stooping, stretching, kneeling, standing and lifting occasionally.
