PRINCIPAL PURPOSE OF JOB: Disaster Educator plays a vital role in providing education and resources related to disaster preparedness, response, and recovery to the community. This position is responsible for developing and delivering educational programs and materials to increase community resilience and ensure individuals, families, and communities are better prepared to handle natural or man-made disasters. The specialist will work closely with county extension offices, emergency management agencies, and community organizations to coordinate and implement disaster education initiatives.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:&nbsp;

<li>Conduct needs assessments to identify community disaster preparedness gaps and priorities.</li>
<li>Design, develop, and deliver educational programs and workshops related to disaster preparedness, response, and recovery.</li>
<li>Utilize various teaching methods, including in-person training, webinars, workshops, and multimedia resources, to effectively communicate with diverse audiences.</li>
<li>Collaborate with other extension specialists and subject matter experts to incorporate relevant information and best practices into educational materials that extension staff may implement or utilize for programming.</li>
<li>Create and curate educational resources, fact sheets, guides, and instructional materials related to disaster preparedness and recovery.</li>
<li>Stay updated on emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in disaster education and incorporate them into resource development.</li>
<li>Ensure all educational materials and resources are accurate, evidence-based, and accessible to diverse audiences, including individuals with disabilities and non-English speakers.</li>
<li>Develop and implement evaluation tools and methodologies to measure the impact and effectiveness of disaster education programs.</li>
<li>Collect and analyze data to assess program outcomes and identify areas for improvement.</li>

<li>Coordinate and work with extension staff, nutrition expertise, and other external personal to respond to emergency food allocation and distribution (utilizing mobile nutrition kitchen) to assist survivors</li>

QUALIFICATIONS: &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;

<li>A master’s degree in a relevant field such as emergency management, disaster management, education, or a related discipline.</li>
<li>Experience in disaster education, emergency management, or related fields is highly desirable.</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of disaster preparedness, response, and recovery strategies, including hazard mitigation, community resilience, and post-disaster rebuilding.</li>
<li>Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively convey complex information to diverse audiences.</li>
<li>Experience in curriculum development, instructional design, and resource creation for educational programs.</li>

Shift: Monday-Thursday 8:30am-5pm; Friday, 7:30am-4pm
 
What is a Versa-Tags Order Entry Specialist?
As an Order Entry Specialist in our Customer Support Department, you'll help take our customers' need into our Production team to make it a reality. We work with both stock and custom orders, and you'll make sure that the orders are input quickly and accurately so that Production knows exactly what the customer desires. This is a great role for someone who loves the details, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. From our Versa-Tags Key Tag to custom graphics, you'll know our products inside and out to make sure they're entered with speed and accuracy. You may assist your fellow team members with customer calls, and will at times call the customer directly to make sure you know exactly what is needed to get everything entered into our ERP system and ready to produce.
 
What does your day look like?
<ul>
<li>Use extensive knowledge of products, materials, and services we provide to achieve high customer satisfaction</li>
<li>Receive, review and enter customer purchase orders (POs) by verifying item, pricing, customer and shipping information</li>
<li>Resolve discrepancies by following standard processes or escalating order issues to relevant team</li>
<li>Compare data with original purchase order (PO) to verify order entry is accurate and complete</li>
<li>Answers phones when necessary, providing excellent service to all customers, vendors, and stakeholders</li>
<li>Work with the Customer Support Supervisor and with the General Manager if needed to ensure proper customer service is being delivered, and escalate issues or complaints appropriately.</li>
<li>Inform customers of deals and promotions</li>
<li>Take payment information and other pertinent customer account information, and enter/update in ERP system</li>
<li>Enter all types of orders but not limited to: Approvals, reorders, stock and custom stock</li>
<li>Other duties as assigned</li>

Finzer Roller seeks an Order Entry Specialist for our Itasca plant. $20 - $24 per hour, bonus opportunity, PTO, paid holidays, medical, dental, vision, life, 401k + match, paid weekly.
This is a unique order entry position in a custom job shop environment. Orders are submitted individually and require detailed data compilation, including parts, coverings, and finishes. Accuracy and attention to detail are essential. A mechanical aptitude is highly beneficial to understand roller composition and ensure proper specifications are met. 
 Specific responsibilities will include:

<li>Answers and routes calls. Assists customers and sales representatives in a proactive and friendly manner.</li>
<li>Enters customer orders into ERP system accurately and in a timely manner.</li>
<li>Creates purchase orders. Obtains approvals and confirms pricing with vendors. Follows up with vendors regarding order status.</li>
<li>Ensures that purchase orders and packing slips match and that all data is accurate.</li>
