Program of Distinction Administrative Assistant

Manages the delivery of all academic advising for undeclared students and leads&nbsp;the development, administration, and evaluation of advising and new cadet transition programs. Provides information, resources, and training to cadre of faculty and staff serving as academic advisors. Assists in the development of an advising curriculum and academic advisor development program. Coordinates with other mission elements to plan and schedule advising programs. Reviews and revises forms, letters, and publications focused on academic advising and the advising curriculum. Proactively works to support quality improvement in products, services, programs, and policy related to academic advising and transition to college. Serves as a curriculum expert, mentor, and source of advice and guidance for cadets seeking assistance from the Office of Student Academic Services and Academy Registrar. Performs Associate Air Officer Commanding for Academics (AAOCA) duties in accordance with the USAFA curriculum handbook and DF guidelines. Serves as primary academic advisor to cadets until they declare a major, effectively managing advisee records and providing academic advice, mentoring, and guidance regarding the USAFA curriculum, programs, requirements, and opportunities. Uses a learning-focused approach to academic advising. Effectively maintains accurate advisee records. Thoroughly evaluates and assesses cadet advising needs, makes recommendations and takes appropriate actions, and conducts follow-up to ensure those needs are met. Serves as the lead faculty advisor for a Cadet Wing Group. Initiates, directs and conducts a program of research in their field of specialization which contributes to the body of knowledge. Performs appropriate service-related functions, as required, in support of faculty academic departments and the overall educational mission. Participates in faculty governance by attending department and faculty meetings and serving, when requested, on institution-wide committees. As necessary, serves as mentor to junior faculty advisors. Effectively evaluates the integration of technology into group advising curriculum and modules. Prepares manuscripts and/or presentations containing the findings of scholarly study suitable for publication or other distribution. Pursues professional development through membership in professional societies and participation in conferences or other appropriate activities in order to maintain professional and academic currency in area of specialization. May instruct Registrar sponsored courses or courses in an academic department. Primary Function:

<li>Makes recommendations on policy issues to maintain compliance with federal, state, and local government regulations.</li>
<li>Utilizes hospital financial systems and financial reports to monitor monthly grant expenses and ensure compliance with sponsor/donor regulations.</li>
<li>Prepares and presents reports on actual versus budgeted financial information during site visits and external audits.</li>

Manager of Sponsored Projects

The USU Department of Medical and Clinical Psychology (MPS), F. Qualification Requirements: Requires a minimum of an earned Ph.D. degree in Clinical Psychology, Health Psychology, or relevant psychology field from an accredited university or institution; experience in graduate-level teaching and mentorship, curriculum design, and research; demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations in an inclusive manner; exceptional interpersonal skills; outstanding written and oral communication skills; academic accomplishments, reflected by scientific publications in peer-reviewed journals appropriate to the academic rank; and active membership and involvement in scholarly societies.
The successful candidate must be academically qualified for a faculty appointment at the Assistant or Associate Professor level in accordance with SOM and USU academic policies.

Dean of the College of Education

Description The University of Washington Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology is seeking one (1) full-time pathologist for appointment to join our Hematopathology Division on the School of Medicine’s clinician-teacher pathway. The qualified candidate will become the Division Head of Hematopathology, CAP/CLIA director of the Hematopathology Laboratory and Quality Director of the Clinical Trials/Developmental Hematopathology subdivision. Clinical responsibilities will include reporting of morphology for lymph nodes, tissues, bloods and marrows, as well as flow cytometry (diagnostic and minimal residual disease testing) and may include molecular diagnostic testing, hemoglobin electrophoresis and coagulation reporting, depending on the interests of the candidate. This range is inclusive of base salary provided through the UW Physicians (UWP) practice plan, in addition to base salary provided by the University. Please note that only compensation provided by the University is included in University benefit determinations and calculations. Compensation provided by UW Physicians (UWP) practice plan may provide eligibility for separate benefits offered by that organization.&nbsp;
Other compensation associated with this position may include an administrative salary supplement for administrative service as division head.&nbsp;
Associate and Full Professors WOT hold indefinite appointments that align with a 12-month service period (July 1-June 30). Faculty with 12-month service periods are paid for 11 months of service over a 12-month period (July-June), meaning the equivalent of one month is available for paid time off. This position remains open until filled with an anticipated start date of January 1, 2024, but is flexible.

Qualifications Candidates must have an M.D. or D.O. (or foreign equivalent) and be Board-eligible or –certified in Anatomic and/or Clinical Pathology (American Board of Pathology). The candidate should additionally either be Board-eligible or –certified in Hematopathology. Subspecialty expertise in Hematopathology is required. Must qualify for a license to practice medicine in Washington State. In order to be eligible for University sponsorship for an H-1B visa, graduates of foreign (non-U.S.) medical schools must show successful completion of all three steps of the U.S. Medical Licensing Exam (USMLE) or equivalent as determined by the Secretary of Health and Human Services.
