Position Summary The Leaves Operations Specialist reports to the Associate Director of Benefits and serves as a key member of the medical leaves department within University Human Resources. This role serves as the point of contact for the execution and review of medical leave transactions and processes and will work directly with employees, unit administrators and the payroll department. The Leaves Operations Specialist position requires the ability to create, maintain, and clearly communicate efficient processes, including the best practices for leaves transactions. Responsibilities will include conducting and compiling research, preparing reports or correspondence, compiling data and completing reviews, updating resources, and other related tasks as needed. This position may perform functions of other leaves team members as a backup. This position assists and acts in a confidential capacity to the Associate Director of Benefits and leaves staff. Assistant Professor of Chinese: Chinese Mandarin Language and Culture Instructor

Serves as a Russian language teacher at the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center (DLIFLC) located on the Presidio of Monterey in Monterey, CA. DLIFLC offers intensive foreign language instruction in fourteen languages and dialects languages on a schedule that extends throughout the year.
