Summary: This position is located within Armed Services YMCA Child Development Center at Arlington. The purpose of this position is to serve as a point of contact for information and perform clerical and administrative tasks in support of the CDC. The CDC Operations Clerk performs a combination of duties related to one or more components of the CDC.&nbsp; Duties are related to record keeping and reporting, liaison with families and programs, and collection and monitoring of fees and supplies. These tasks are summarized below. Salary commensurate with experience $22 - $24 per hour. Duties and Responsibilities: Record Keeping and Reporting
<ul>
<li>Perform a combination of duties related to one or more components of the Child Development Center (CDC).</li>
<li>&nbsp;Prepare and maintain assigned reports, correspondence, and statistical and financial data pertaining to components within the CDC such as the CACFP. </li>
<li>Ensures child registration and enrollment paperwork is complete and current. </li>
<li>Ensures that all USDA food program records are accurate, up-to-date and readily available. </li>
<li>Maintains office files and records. </li>
<li>Provides required information to requesting agencies that include but are not limited to ASYMCA Headquarters, Child Care Licensing, DoD, Safety and Fire personnel, USDA and any other agencies that are partnered with the CDC. </li>
<li>Prepares necessary daily, weekly and monthly reports in compliance with reporting policies and procedures and ensures they are submitted in a timely manner.</li>
<li>Conducts research of records and follows up in order to resolve discrepancies and problems. </li>
<li>Notifies supervisor of any discrepancies and informs supervisor of any issues/ problems that cannot be resolved.</li>

 Liaison with Families and Programs
<ul>
<li>Provides front desk coverage, logs children in and out of the facility, and informs and answers questions regarding programs and services, patron financial obligations, waiting lists, events, and policies and procedures. </li>
<li>Assists with dissemination of information to CDH providers regarding training schedules, certification process, application status, and USDA reporting requirements. </li>
<li>Takes telephone calls and responds to inquiries, referring calls to supervisor or other personnel when appropriate. </li>
<li>Performs assigned resource and referral duties and assists in maintaining current waiting list.</li>
</ul>
 Fees and Supplies
<ul>
<li>Collects fees and charges and records payments in accordance with proper procedures. </li>
<li>Notifies supervisor of all delinquent payments. </li>
<li>Completes a daily activity report and ensures proper deposit of funds.</li>
<li>Responsible for monitoring all supplies and resources. </li>
<li>Notifies supervisor of items that need to be ordered.</li>
</ul>
Additional Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Serves as a mandatory reporter to Child Protective Services as prescribed by local policy in the case of suspected incidences of child abuse and neglect. </li>
<li>Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking the English language.&nbsp; Fluency in Spanish is a plus.</li>
<li>Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.</li>
<li>Has constant contact with staff.&nbsp; Must be a team player in helping ASYMCA achieve its overall goals and objectives working with military families.&nbsp; High energy, proactive, excellent communicator and interested in challenging opportunities.</li>

Qualifications:

<li>Must be 18 years of age or older.</li>
<li>High School Diploma or equivalent.</li>
<li>Two (2) years of administrative experience required.</li>
<li>Knowledge of administrative support functions.</li>
<li>Knowledge of general office automation software, practices and procedures in order to accomplish various work assignments. </li>
<li>Knowledge of military CDC and the USDA Food Programs required.</li>
<li>Ability to maintain a computerized database. </li>
<li>Ability to maintain accurate reports and records and military style documents.</li>
<li>Working knowledge of computer keyboard and Child Care Management Systems, ProCare preferred.</li>
<li>Must participate in continued professional development through enrollment in formal and informal educational courses related to early childhood education.</li>

PURPOSE OF POSITION: Reporting to the Chief Finance and Operations Officer, the Finance Clerk is responsible for all Accounts Payable functions, petty cash and other payables, vendor management, and related financial support duties. This role ensures the accurate and timely processing of financial transactions, adherence to GAAP and internal controls, and supports the agency’s mission through diligent financial stewardship.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Covenant House Florida reserves the right to unilaterally modify, remove, or add to any of the following:

<li>Process and reconcile high-volume and complex invoices, ensuring correct coding, accruals, and approvals. </li>
<li>Capture invoices electronically and maintain organized digital records in designated network folders. </li>
<li>Prepare and execute payment runs, including checks, ACH, and wire transfers. </li>
<li>Manage vendor relationships, respond to inquiries, and validate vendor setup/maintenance. </li>
<li>Take advantage of vendor terms and discounts where applicable. </li>
<li>Generate weekly AP aging reports and reconcile vendor statements. </li>
<li>Prepare and post journal entries for employee business/travel expenses and AP adjustments. </li>
<li>Support month-end and year-end close related to AP </li>
<li>Petty Cash &amp; Custodial Duties </li>
<li>Replenish and reconcile petty cash funds and bus passes regularly. </li>
<li>Maintain monthly Excel master files tracking deposits and withdrawals. </li>
<li>Serve as custodian for Covenant House youth savings accounts, ensuring accurate cash flow tracking. </li>
<li>Reconcile monthly corporate credit card statements and ensure receipt collection. </li>
<li>Record all credit card transactions in Excel and upload journal entries to the General Ledger. </li>
<li>Generate regular, recurring, and reversing journal entries via GL templates or Excel upload. </li>
<li>Maintain all AP and financial records in compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and audit requirements. </li>
<li>Support internal and external audits by providing requested reports and documentation. </li>
<li>Identify opportunities to streamline AP processes and support AP automation or ERP optimization. </li>
<li>Work closely with the CFO and other departments to resolve financial issues and provide accurate reporting. </li>
<li>Ensure all written procedures for daily, monthly, and annual tasks are up-to-date. </li>
<li>Perform additional duties to support the finance team as needed.</li>

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree in in Finance, Accounting, or closely related financial degree required 
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of two (2) years of accounting experience in a similar position. A firm grasp of cost control principles, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) Experience working in a social service environment and familiarity with non-profit accounting and best practices is preferred and considered a plus; 
SCHEDULE: 
Working flexible hours as required to meet agency needs that may take place outside of regular Monday-Friday business hours; this may include evenings, weekends, and early mornings.

The automotive DMV Title Clerk is responsible for processing and filing DMV paperwork to establish or transfer our guest' vehicle registrations in a timely manner.
This position is one of the most important team member positions at David Wilson's Villa Ford of Orange.&nbsp; This position is key to ensuring that our guest leave 100% satisfied with their overall experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

<li>File new and used registrations through the DMV first line provider (DMV Desk) and the DMV, while ensuring accuracy and timeliness.</li>
<li>Process wholesale paperwork for auctions and dealers.</li>
<li>Clean DMV schedules weekly, update notes as to reason for delay.</li>
<li>Issue DMV refund checks to our guests.</li>
<li>Respond to our guest's inquiries by phone, mail and/or email.</li>
<li>Review applications for accuracy and ensure all information is complete.</li>
