ABOUT THE POSITION As we embark on thistransformative journey, Symphony Space is actively seeking to buildcapacity and hire a Director of Advancement. A newly created role,the Director of Advancement will play a crucial part inspearheading our campaign efforts, building robust relationshipswith key stakeholders, and ensuring the successful realization ofour goals. In partnership with the Executive Director and Board ofDirectors, the Director of Advancement will be a key member ofSymphony Space’s senior leadership team. About the Opportunity
Synergos is seeking an experienced Managing Director, GlobalPhilanthropists Circle to lead our network of philanthropists, acritical and growing arm of our organization.
This position is a full-time role reporting to the CEO and is akey member of the leadership team. The Managing Director willmanage the Global Philanthropists Circle, a global network withmembers from 30 countries that supports values-drivenphilanthropists and social investors to better address systemiccauses of poverty and inequity. Managing Director, Global Philanthropists Circle

Under the general direction of the Executive Director, the Director of Finance at Associated Students, Inc. (ASI) has oversight of the financial, risk management and information technology operations of the organization. In collaboration with the Executive Director, the Director of Finance is delegated a high degree of responsibility to recommend and implement fiscal policies and procedures in partnership with university colleagues to ensure that ASI operates appropriately within the financial policies of the California State University (CSU) Board of Trustees and the University, while sustaining sound business practices, and strengthening the financial health of ASI.
The Director of Finance will sit as a non-voting member and serve as an advisor to the ASI Student Board of Directors, which doubles as the Sacramento State Student Government. &nbsp;&nbsp;
The ASI Director of Finance serves as ASI administrator in charge in the absence of the Executive Director.&nbsp;
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 
Accounting 
<ul>
<li>Oversees the supervision and management of all aspects of the functional areas of the Accounting Services department, including but not limited to accounts receivable, accounts payable, cashiering, fixed asset management, internal controls, policy development and implementation, legal, and audit compliance as well as maintenance of the general ledger.</li>
<li>Provides insight and education regarding ASI and CSU Sacramento budget and financial operations to the ASI Student Board of Directors, full-time staff, student-staff, campus partners and the student community at a level of their understanding.</li>
<li>Oversees the preparation of the annual financial statements and 990 for ASI and the Union WELL.</li>
<li>Facilitates implementation of quality standards and priority criteria for service processes.</li>
<li>Ensures a high level of customer satisfaction through assessment, staff training, and resource development. Ensures compliance with state and federal tax laws and reporting requirements.</li>
<li>Ensures compliance with all internal controls and identifies potential improvements to increase efficiency of operations and security of company assets.</li>
<li>Evaluates changes in policies, laws, and available resources for impacts and adjustments to related policies, procedures, and staff responsibilities.</li>
<li>Coordinates plans for testing, training, and implementing new and upgraded financial systems.</li>
<li>Manages corporate response to auditors during the annual external audit, CSU audits, and other agency audits.</li>
<li>Prepares reports and supporting documentation for year-end financial statements and state and federal income tax filings.</li>
<li>Reviews and approves internal audits of petty cash, change funds, and inventories of assets and resale products.</li>
<li>Responsible for all cash management activity within the organization to meet short and long-term financial requirements.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Examines and translates financial information related to specific business decisions, reports on operating results, cash flow, financial forecasts, restricted fund activities, investments and related issues.</li>

Long Term Financial Planning, and Forecasting

Fiscal Services
<ul>
<li>Serves as an advisor to the ASI Student Board of Directors. Provides guidance and support to all elected ASI student officers, especially the ASI Student Vice President of Finance, in the fulfillment of their responsibilities, and to student club and organization officers on the use of ASI funds.</li>
<li>Organizes, directs and supervises the preparation of ASl's annual budget in accordance with the guidelines provided by the ASI Finance and Budget Committee.</li>
<li>Implements the approved budget, and works with ASI department directors to ensure that operations remain within the scope of the approved budget.</li>
<li>Coordinates with the ASI Student Vice President of Finance in the annual budget review process.</li>
<li>Develops and presents ASI budget to the ASI Student Board of Directors and reports on budget status throughout the year to the Student Board of Directors.</li>

Minimum Qualifications

Director of Finance

Position Title: Director of Major Gifts
Status: Full-Time, Exempt
Reports To: Vice President &amp; ChiefAdvancement Officer
Position Summary:
The Jacksonville Symphony Advancement Department raises fundsthrough donations from individuals, corporations, foundations, thepublic sector, and special events to support artistic andeducational programming and general operating expenses. TheDirector of Major Gifts will be responsible for increasing majorgifts from both individual donors and corporate sponsors, on alocal, regional, and national level. The Major Gifts Officer willwork to increase support by cultivating and stewarding effectiverelationships by maintaining an active fundraising schedule thatincludes strategic visits, and ongoing cultivation andsolicitation. They will maintain a portfolio of current andpotential donors, with six-figure plus capacity, excluding boardand honorary board members. The Director will also prepareproposals, grants, sponsorship agreements, make solicitations andcomplete all necessary follow-up to secure support. This positionrequires excellent interpersonal skills, data-driven portfoliomanagement, and the demonstrated ability to meet fundraising goals.The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, well-organized andpossess a sales mentality.&nbsp; Knowledge of customer relationshipdatabases and appreciation for music is a plus.

Opportunity
Reporting to IRAP’s Executive Vice President, External Relationsand Chief of Staff, the Vice President (VP), Development will be anintegral member of the IRAP team, and involved in theorganization’s overall strategic development. They will oversee andmanage the organization’s fundraising strategy, development, andexecution, and will build key infrastructure and contacts tostrengthen and sustain its activities. In partnership with theExecutive Vice President, External Relations and Chief of Staff,the Development team, and other key stakeholders, the VP will be astrategic leader and frontline fundraiser, forging newrelationships to increase IRAP’s visibility, achieve ambitiousimpact, and secure long-term financial resources. They will lead,in partnership, the design and implementation of a comprehensive,clearly-articulated multi-year plan to maintain organizationalhealth in the years to come. The VP will hold a portfolio ofprincipal and major individual and institutional donors, and willbe responsible for personal fundraising performance alongside therest of the development team.&nbsp;
The VP, Development will have primary responsibility forestablishing and implementing the infrastructure needed to grow a$30M annual budget through the solicitation of grassroots tomajor/principal gifts, special events and virtual opportunities,and corporate and foundation support. They will expand anddiversify IRAP’s donor base/pipeline and work closely with otherteam members to secure funding for new initiatives. In addition,the VP will work closely with the Board of Directors on theirrespective individual fundraising / relationship-building plans,and encourage everyone, through many different avenues, to becomemore involved in helping the organization reach their fundraisinggoals.
The VP, Development will directly supervise the highly strategicDevelopment Leadership Team, comprising the Director of IndividualPhilanthropy, Director of Institutional Philanthropy, and theDevelopment Operations team lead, in addition to overseeing andleading the nine Development team professionals. They will also bea member of the Senior Management Team, responsible for helping todevelop a strategic execution plan to achieve organizationalresults.
Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Provide strategic vision and direction to build a first-ratedevelopment program, in partnership with the Executive LeadershipTeam, Development team, and Board of Directors, includingindividual, corporate, and foundation fundraising, and support andensure stellar development operations.</li>
<li>Through a combination of donor, prospect, Board, and staffengagement; intentional pipeline building and authenticstewardship; and creative and innovative fundraising strategies,lead the organization-wide goal of deepening existing andprospective funder relationships, and expanding and diversifyingthe base of supporters and ambassadors.</li>
<li>Maintain a dynamic portfolio of high-net-worth individuals andmajor institutional funders.</li>
<li>Support the Board of Directors, including staffing theDevelopment Committee, as it undertakes greater fundraising andpipeline-building efforts.</li>
<li>Ensure dynamic processes in all phases of prospect management,donor qualification, cultivation, solicitation, stewardship, anddevelopment reporting.</li>
<li>Create and implement a plan for the diversification of fundingtypes, such as expanding our non-U.S. supporter base, competing formore multilateral funding opportunities, and/or acceleratinggrassroots giving.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Ensure the mobilization of virtual and in-person fundraisingactivities, including by leading the biannual Audacious Communitycalls and other development cultivation and stewardshipopportunities.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Communicate regularly with the Executive Vice President,appropriate Executive Leadership Team members, and the SeniorDirector, Global Planning and Strategic Resourcing to understandpotential programmatic funding needs, then work with others on theDevelopment team to identify and pursue funding opportunities tomeet those needs.</li>
<li>With the support of the Development Operations team, provideregular analysis and reporting on the overall performance offundraising against goals and Annual Plan.</li>
<li>Actively manage the Development departmental budget, bringingrisks and opportunities to the attention of the EVP, ExternalRelations and Chief of Staff.</li>
<li>In collaboration with the Senior Director of Communications,devise and implement compelling and consistent external messaging,and build consistent and recognizable identity to further IRAP’sbrand and enhance visibility.</li>

Essential Functions&nbsp;&nbsp;

Angels Foster Care is seeking an Executive Director committed to improving the lives of foster infants and toddlers in our community. The Executive Director will have overall administrative, strategic, development, operational responsibility of staff, programs, fundraising, and execution of the Angels mission.
Angels is a 501c3 non-profit, Foster Family Agency licensed by the State of California to serve children age 0-5 years in Santa Barbara County. There are two office locations in Orcutt and Santa Barbara. Angels serves approximately 50 children each year.

Position Summary

Responsibilities
Leadership and management:
*Oversee all aspects of Angels Foster Care, including 5 staff members, development oversite, planning and execution.

*Engage strategically in community relations including, Child Welfare Services, dependency court, foundations, and donors, etc.
*Strategies for recruitment of new Angels parents and execution of plan working with development associate.
*Education of the public regarding the need for Angels parents to care for our local babies as well as the need for funding of these services.
*Plan and assist with strategies to recruit new Angels parents, and participate in outreach to grow the number of homes for placements.
*Oversight of volunteer development
Fundraising Responsibilities:
*Leadership support and oversight, Fundraising committee county wide.
*Supervision of Development manager/grant writer
*Expanding funding streams and new funders through grants and donors.
*County events, grant writing, donor relations and management, development supervision of development associate county widen and oversight of planning, grants, events county wide.
*Serve as the public face of Angels Foster Care, present at foundations. media, and award presentations.
Desired Skills and Experience
*Bachelors Degree in a related field
*Five years experience in managing and leading a high performing non-profit organization, including strategic development, community engagement, budget, and financial management and operations.
*Competence in creating, explaining and managing budgets, and finance in business
*A strong business savvy and ability to assess complexities and problem solve
*Experience in legally required reporting and compliance for regulations associated with Foster Family Agencies.
*Knowledge of allied community agencies/ services in the early childhood development area. Willingness to collaborate with these agencies to deliver services.
*Experience with effectively managing teams and motivating, mentoring, and developing staff.
*Leadership ability in strategizing, fundraising and coalition building.
*Ability and interest in representing the agency in public settings, including public speaking
