Job Summary:
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Technicians to join our inspired team at Horizon Recovery. The ideal candidate will work provide direct support to the adolescents (clients) and the Clinical/Operations team at the facility. The M.H.T. is responsible for monitoring and documenting activities of clients while at the facility. 
If you are a self-starter capable of taking initiative to analytically solve problems through deductive methods (meaning you can take critical information and figure out the rest by using mental initiative), this role will interest you. This role will also be enjoyed if you like to multi-task, work in a quick paced and rapid environment, and do well when there are tight deadlines. Job Duties:

<li>Provide supervision and support (emotional and physical) to clients at the treatment center(s).</li>
<li>Provide detailed documentation related to client behavior and actions.</li>
<li>Conduct random urinalysis drug testing as outlined in Horizon Recovery's policies and procedures.</li>
<li>Assist with self-administration of medication for the clients.</li>
<li>Report on and monitor clients' behavior.</li>
<li>Offer clients guidance about recovery using practical recovery models.</li>

TCBH serves individuals eighteen years of age or older who present in a mental health crisis with or without substance abuse and are determined medically stable.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
We will transition soon into our new 140,000 square foot, 106-bed hospital, slated for completion in 2026.&nbsp; This state of the art facility, the Oklahoma Psychiatric Care Center, will feature a 24-hour crisis response Urgent Recovery Center and will be situated in the OSU Academic Medical District,&nbsp; near the new VA Hospital and the OSU Medical Center in downtown Tulsa.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Key Responsibilities:

<li>Continuously observes patients' behavior, mental status, and activities, and notifies RN of any changes or unusual occurrences.</li>

<li>Escorts and observes clients during activities, meals, visitation, and groups.</li>
<li>Able to perform patient safety checks at scheduled times, and documents appropriately.</li>

<li>Orients patients to the facility.</li>
<li>Acts as a liaison to all areas of persons served/client care, medical staff, admission staff, nursing staff, and clinical staff.</li>

<li>Perform 15-minute observation rounds and documents appropriately.</li>
<li>Assists in the orientation of new staff members.</li>
