Manages the delivery of all academic advising for undeclared students and leads&nbsp;the development, administration, and evaluation of advising and new cadet transition programs. Performs appropriate service-related functions, as required, in support of faculty academic departments and the overall educational mission. Participates in faculty governance by attending department and faculty meetings and serving, when requested, on institution-wide committees. As necessary, serves as mentor to junior faculty advisors. Effectively evaluates the integration of technology into group advising curriculum and modules. Prepares manuscripts and/or presentations containing the findings of scholarly study suitable for publication or other distribution. Pursues professional development through membership in professional societies and participation in conferences or other appropriate activities in order to maintain professional and academic currency in area of specialization. May instruct Registrar sponsored courses or courses in an academic department. Supervises Academic Advising and Transition Programs division personnel; maintains the culture, guidelines, and organizational processes for the advising division.

The Associate Dean is a leadership partner to the Dean. ORGANIZATION MISSION:
The mission of Boys &amp; Girls Clubs of Greater Tampa Bay is to provide high-quality, out-of-school Club experiences to ensure our young people, especially those who need us most, are on track to graduate from high school with a plan for their future, demonstrate good character &amp; citizenship, and live a healthy lifestyle. 
 
PRIMARY FUNCTION:     

Fulfill the Boys &amp; Girls Clubs of Greater Tampa Bay’s mission by maintaining the front counter area, providing courteous and quality customer service and ensuring the safety of Club members. Perform administrative tasks necessary for the proper maintenance of membership records including the maintenance of the membership tracking system (MTS). Provide all necessary clerical support for the Club Director and other program staff. 
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

<li>Print daily program rosters for staff. </li>
<li>Manage daily sign-out process which includes verification of parent or other approved adult identification. </li>

<li>Interact with incoming visitors to include parents, volunteers or other administrative staff.  </li>
<li>Answer incoming calls to the facility, respond to inquiries via Outlook email and phones. </li>
<li>Participate in weekly staff meetings and various team-oriented activities.  </li>
<li>Actively support other club staff and youth development professionals in the daily service to club youth. </li>
</ul>

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Backup staff members in the absence of other youth development professionals or work on some weekends and/or extended hours for special events and/or programs or support other club locations within a reasonable geography.
