Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

<li>Negotiates, purchases and monitors television and radio buys, both locally and nationally for assigned markets.</li>
<li>Negotiates, purchases and monitors print, OOH, direct vendor digital audio and direct vendor digital video buys.</li>
<li>Produces and executes optimum buys in terms of cost efficiencies and goal delivery, while following client guidelines</li>
<li>Negotiates added value opportunities within client guidelines</li>
<li>Reviews all media invoices and resolves any discrepancies</li>
<li>Responsible for reporting buys performance in the form of a post-buy analysis </li>
<li>Collaborate with team members to ensure all client needs are met</li>
<li>Effectively problem-solves, generates innovative solutions</li>
<li>Improve and maintain positive relations with media representatives</li>
<li>Evaluate and recommend sponsorship opportunities if valuable to a client</li>
<li>Stay updated on spot market conditions, price fluctuations, changes in viewing patterns, station changes </li>
<li>Working on a range of client accounts at the same time, often juggling various projects and deadlines.</li>
<li>Assist on new business projects as needed </li>
<li>Help mentor and train Associate Media Buyers </li>
</ul>
Qualifications and Requirements:
<ul>
<li>3-5 years media buying experience; agency and national experience preferred</li>
<li>Self-motivated, very detailed oriented and an independent thinker</li>
<li>Positive attitude and team oriented</li>
<li>Ability to think analytically based on business objectives and client needs</li>
<li>High comfort level with numbers and constant reporting needs</li>
<li>Communicate clearly and effectively to others, written and verbal</li>
<li>Plans and organizes work; sets priorities and manages time well</li>
<li>Has a sense of urgency to obtain results, meets deadlines</li>
<li>Handles large volume of work efficiently, effectively and productively</li>
<li>Knowledge of Mediaocean and Mircosoft Office</li>
