<li>Involvement in software system upgrades affecting A/P and related modules including Purchasing, G/L, A/R, etc. New processes and software upgrades will require modeling and configuration within Peoplesoft modeling databases, certifying accuracy and completeness of processes before they are migrated to the production database. The scope of these responsibilities is wide and may encompass software and systems exterior to BGSU such as joint projects with other universities (SciQuest) or third party payment systems. Involvement with FMS upgrades and modeling is continuous and ongoing.</li>
<li>Coordinate, reconcile, and monitor payment processing of both accounts payable and Bursar's student refund checks and ACH transaction processing.</li>
<li>Coordinate the resolution and reporting of independent contractors per IRS and State of Ohio regulations.</li>
<li>Participate in department, division, and University projects and committees as required.</li>

The George Washington University Law Library seeks a qualified librarian for its Head of Legal Technology &amp; Instructional Services position to begin as early as September 15, 2023. As a member of the library’s dynamic, collaborative Instructional Technology Services team, the librarian in this position has primary oversight for the Office of Legal Technology &amp; Instructional Services. This position leads the development and delivery of services supporting the integration of library resources into the curriculum, the curation and use of the library’s growing electronic resources collection, the use of scholarly communication technologies and services, and the undertaking of digital initiatives. As the subject specialist for legal pedagogy and technology competency, this position works to improve student success by embedding the library in online teaching and learning spaces, integrating librarians into the face-to-face curriculum, and supporting faculty adoption of technologies to achieve learning outcomes.
The Law Library supports the curricular and teaching requirements of the Law School, the research and publication needs of the law faculty, and the study and research needs of the law students; and provides to the scholarly community at large access to a research collection of material about the law and its history. POSITION OVERVIEW
SEO saw rapid and unprecedented expansion during the pandemic,prompting the need to grow and redesign our C-suite. Over the lastthree years, we have welcomed three new Executive Committee membersto oversee critical functions within the organization— SEOProfessional Programs, SEO Scholars Program, and nationaloperations. In the same period, we have also doubled theorganization's workforce and budget, expanded SEO's regionalfootprints in North Carolina and Miami, and opened a second site inOakland, CA, to accommodate our growing Scholars program in SanFrancisco.
The SEO Chief Advancement Officer is responsible for strategicdevelopment planning and activities supporting the NYC SEO Scholarsprogram and SEO general program/operating support, representing 40%of organization's $51M budget with the goal to grow support by 50%over next 3 years. A particular focus will be on nationalfoundations, corporate donors, and major individual donors. The CAOis expected to be a front-line national relationship builder andmajor donor solicitor, managing a portfolio of prospects, andsupervising an approximately nine-member development team.
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) William Goodloe,the CAO will be a leader in lifting the current org-widedevelopment efforts to new levels of success by broadening ways toattract and more deeply engage with national foundations,corporations, and individual philanthropists over time – to becomestrategic sources of revenue. The CAO will also work closely withSEO’s professional programs and its Marketing &amp; Communicationsteam to utilize SEO’s legacy of impact closing opportunity gaps toincrease national brand recognition as a whole. The CAO will serveon the Executive Committee of SEO’s Executive Leadership Team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Fundraising:
<ul>
<li>Drive a strategy to raise roughly an additional $10 - 15m+ inannual revenue for SEO general program support and Scholars programsupport from a variety of philanthropic sources (annual giving,major gifts, corporate and foundation relations, alumni) andspecial events (an annual gala that consistently generates $8m+ inunrestricted funds and several smaller events focused on theScholars program and general SEO support).</li>
<li>Leverage SEO’s existing ecosystem and activate SEO’s untappednetworks within the spaces where the organization currentlyoperates, including private equity and corporate partnerorganizations.</li>
<li>In collaboration with the CEO, senior staff and Board ofDirectors, develop long-range strategies to significantly increasephilanthropic giving and serve as the key strategist for specific“asks.”</li>
<li>Build and streamline a development model that accounts formajor donor funding from various avenues, including those ofpartner and expansion offices, to ensure coordination and maximizedonor engagement.</li>

COMPENSATION &amp; BENEFITS&nbsp;
The benchmarked base salary range for this position is$250,000 - $300,000.
 This executive position also qualifies for SEO’s annual ManagementIncentive Plan (MIP) bonus based on individual and organizationalperformance. SEO offers a competitive compensation package andcomprehensive benefits plan, including low-cost health, vision, anddental options, a generous holiday schedule and PTO policies,disability coverage, fully paid time off for new parents, andemployer contributions to health reimbursement and 403(b)retirement accounts. Chief Advancement Officer

Position Summary
The Office of the General Counsel (OGC) currently consists of 16 attorneys working collaboratively to provide a full range of legal services to Columbia University.&nbsp; OGC is seeking an attorney with corporate and/or transactional experience to work on a range matters of including:&nbsp; business matters, contract review, litigation, labor and employment, copyright, property acquisitions, student and faculty issues, and tax, among others. Although the role will be generalist in nature, it will focus on contracts/transactional matters at the outset and may be adjusted based on the experience/skills of the successful candidate and needs of the organization. The Assistant/Associate title and salary will be commensurate with level of relevant experience.
Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Provide advice and counsel to internal clients, including University leadership, on a wide variety of issues of critical importance to the University;</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Draft, negotiate, and/or review a variety of contracts related to topics such as online educational platforms and executive education, educational collaboration and affiliation agreements, and MOUs; Monitor legal issues and trends affecting higher education; analyze relevant research, trends, and proposed regulations to make recommendations on matters affecting institutions of higher learning; Develop, draft and interpret University policies; counsel on issues of policy formation and application; Respond to complaints, demands, subpoenas and regulatory inquiries directed to the University; Conduct and/or oversee and support internal investigations; Manage outside counsel on certain litigation, investigations and audits; Work independently on routine legal matters while recognizing issues of institutional importance, taking proactive steps to resolve issues while keeping the General Counsel, Deputy General Counsel and internal clients appropriately informed; Effectively communicate to clients by clearly explaining practical solutions for addressing problems, appropriately balancing legal considerations with institutional programmatic and policy objectives; and Support all University related legal eﬀorts as needed.</li>
</ul>
Minimum Qualifications &amp; Skills
Education: A Juris Doctor degree from a nationally recognized law school with excellent academic credentials in law school and in undergraduate studies.
Required:
<ul>
<li>Five plus years of practice experience at law ﬁrm, government agency and/or in-house experience in advising and counseling clients (Assistant/Associate title will be commensurate with level of relevant experience); Higher Education, government agency and/or other in-house experience a plus; Ability to analyze complex situations and react appropriately; Ability to exercise sound judgment after researching and interpreting relevant facts; Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines; Ability to supervise outside counsel in a cost-eﬀective manner; Ability to work with minimal supervision and to handle multiple high priority tasks simultaneously Excellent drafting skills; Conﬁdence and judgment necessary to act pragmatically; High level of intellectual curiosity; Ability and desire to function collaboratively; Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate easily with colleagues and internal clients; and Must be admitted to the New York State Bar or admitted within one year of hire.</li>
