LICENSES-CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED: 1) The RCCD Chief of Police is a sworn peace officer of the State of California. Assistant Professor of Chinese: Chinese Mandarin Language and Culture Instructor

Under the general direction of the Executive Director, the Director of Finance at Associated Students, Inc. (ASI) has oversight of the financial, risk management and information technology operations of the organization. In collaboration with the Executive Director, the Director of Finance is delegated a high degree of responsibility to recommend and implement fiscal policies and procedures in partnership with university colleagues to ensure that ASI operates appropriately within the financial policies of the California State University (CSU) Board of Trustees and the University, while sustaining sound business practices, and strengthening the financial health of ASI.
The Director of Finance will sit as a non-voting member and serve as an advisor to the ASI Student Board of Directors, which doubles as the Sacramento State Student Government. &nbsp;&nbsp;
The ASI Director of Finance serves as ASI administrator in charge in the absence of the Executive Director.&nbsp;
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 
Accounting

<li>Oversees the supervision and management of all aspects of the functional areas of the Accounting Services department, including but not limited to accounts receivable, accounts payable, cashiering, fixed asset management, internal controls, policy development and implementation, legal, and audit compliance as well as maintenance of the general ledger.</li>

<li>Oversees the preparation of the annual financial statements and 990 for ASI and the Union WELL.</li>
<li>Facilitates implementation of quality standards and priority criteria for service processes.</li>
<li>Ensures a high level of customer satisfaction through assessment, staff training, and resource development. Ensures compliance with state and federal tax laws and reporting requirements.</li>
<li>Ensures compliance with all internal controls and identifies potential improvements to increase efficiency of operations and security of company assets.</li>
<li>Evaluates changes in policies, laws, and available resources for impacts and adjustments to related policies, procedures, and staff responsibilities.</li>
<li>Coordinates plans for testing, training, and implementing new and upgraded financial systems.</li>

Minimum Qualifications

The Associate Dean will play a crucial role in leadership for the College of Education and Professional Studies (CEPS) in the years ahead. The Associate Dean collaborates with the Dean and CEPS Administrative team on planning and implementing college strategic initiatives. This includes supporting CEPS administrative leaders in equity-focused program assessment and accreditation, culturally responsive curriculum and program development, cultivation of business and community partnerships, and strategic management of course offerings and scheduling for the college. The Associate Dean also has an important role in facilitating the implementation of policies and procedures related to the college and the university. The Role:
The Associate Dean is a leadership partner to the Dean. Primary responsibilities include supervision, coordination and leadership for all curricular issues, general education, and graduate education; implementation of College of Education and Professional Studies (CEPS) courses, programs and strategic priorities; and policy coordination. The Associate Dean also serves on a variety of college and university committees and acts in the Dean's absence.&nbsp;
Job Duties Support for the Dean: -&nbsp;Collaborate with the Dean on planning college strategic initiatives, participate in college fundraising, and coordinate implementation of CEPS strategic priorities. -&nbsp;Provide CEPS administrative leaders support in areas of culturally responsive curriculum development, equity-focused institutional assessment and improvement, human resource management, faculty/staff development and performance evaluations, and budget and finance. -&nbsp;Support the Dean in decision-making, information gathering, report draft preparation, meeting attendance, and follow-through on matters assigned to the chairs and interdisciplinary program directors. -&nbsp;Collaborate with the other Associate Deans. -&nbsp;Collaborate to ensure program quality and effectiveness and to promote student learning, student satisfaction, and student retention in all student populations. -&nbsp;Attend Associate Deans and Academic Affairs meetings. -&nbsp;Act in the Dean’s absence.
Academic Programs and Curricular Management: -&nbsp;Provide strategic management of general education, graduate education, and major program and course offerings, as well as new program development. -&nbsp;Assist with CurricuLog approval changes. -&nbsp;Review and approve course schedules. -&nbsp;Attend Faculty Senate Curriculum Committee meetings. -&nbsp;Support collaboration across units with graduate education and research, including grant proposals. -&nbsp;Provide consultations and advocacy for student concerns.
Communications/Community/College: -&nbsp;Work closely with the Dean, the Director of Development, and the Alumni Relations Coordinator to assist in program development activities and newsletter articles. - Encourage and support business, industry, and community partnerships. -&nbsp;Assist with media relations pertaining to CEPS programs. -&nbsp;Interact with faculty, administrators, staff, students, alumni, other University constituencies, and outside agencies.
Policy Coordination and Committee Membership: -&nbsp;Represent the college on committees as assigned. -&nbsp;Work with the Dean to maintain policies and procedures related to the college and the university. -&nbsp;Approve grade changes, incompletes, independent studies, and internships consistent with university and program policies.
Supervision: -&nbsp;Oversee the supervision of the Director of Advising and the Outreach and Recruitment Coordinator. -&nbsp;Clearly define performance expectations, ensure accountability, and provide ongoing informal feedback, coaching, and mentoring. Minimum Qualifications Earned doctorate from an accredited institution in a discipline associated with programs represented in the College of Education and Professional Studies. A record of teaching effectiveness, professional leadership, and scholarship sufficient to support tenure in one of the CEPS’s academic departments. Demonstrated successful departmental or college-level administrative, leadership, and budget experience in an institution of higher education. Deep theoretical and practical knowledge of inclusion and equity issues within a residential liberal arts environment Collaborative and forward-thinking leadership style with the ability to cultivate and maintain strategic internal and external partnerships to benefit the success of students, colleagues, and initiatives. POSITION OVERVIEW
The Assistant Vice President for Human Resources will serve in a strategic leadership role in Human Resources. Reporting to the Vice President for Finance, Human Resources &amp; Business Development, the Assistant Vice President of Human Resources will be responsible for leading the Office of Human Resources in planning and achieving HR goals and objectives as it relates to the Colleges strategic plan and mission. Areas of responsibility include recruitment, benefits management, training and professional development, employee relations, time and leave administration, performance management, employee recognition programs, compensation and payroll processes, and policy and program compliance.
The Assistant Vice President is directly responsible for the following:
Develop and lead the Office of Human Resources in a manner that serves as a model for professional competency teamwork, and innovation. Provides consultation to management on strategic staffing plans.
Oversee the operations and administration of all human resources services functions which includes appointments,on-boarding, orientation, benefits and time and leave administration,compensation, payroll processes, salary changes, promotions, reclassifications training and staff development, budget, and labor relations.
The AVP is responsible for the State Tax Levy and Non-Tax Levy Payroll department and oversees all aspects of the payroll process for both City and State payrolls of which Hunter is the only CUNY School with two payroll systems . This includes ensuring that compensation is correct and payments are initiated on time
Direct the performance evaluation process for administrative staff, and consult with administrative managers and faculty who need assistance documenting performance issues
Ensure compliance with all federal, state and local employment laws that affect the college, including compliance for mandatory training programs
Working collaboratively with the College Affirmative Action Officer to ensure that the university's affirmative action policies and protocols, especially in matters of faculty and staff recruitment, are administered and utilized effectively
Plan and implement professional development and employee relations programs that help the college improve services level outcomes and increase employee engagement
Support the College’s goal to build human potential, deploy resources in pursuit of maximum competitive advantage, and sensibly and ethically use the College's resources for optimal talent management
Provide counsel to and work collaboratively with senior executives, administrators and chairpersons on a broad range of issues including labor relations and employment law, human resource policies and practices, and the development of college policy and protocols
Oversee the successful implementation of college policies, procedures and practices pertaining to personnel and payroll matters
Collaborate with technical team to design, integrate and implement human resource software systems for better efficiency.
Direct the continued upgrade of the Adjunct Employee Management System (AEMS) and is accountable for onboarding two thousand adjuncts a semester through the appointment or reappointment process and the data driven decision-making processes. Works with the Academic areas at Hunter to provide updated and timely information related to adjunct data. This data sharing facilitates a collaborative effort to ensure that adjuncts are paid on schedule.
Direct the preparation of and represent the College in Civil Service staff disciplinary actions and grievances and enforce policies, rules and regulations, and contractual agreements related to classified staff
Partner with the CUNY Institute for State and Local Governance (ISLG) to examine and implement administrative process improvements in the School of Arts and Sciences. This strategic collaboration facilitated a new set of best practices, which will continue to be rolled out in the future.
Represent the College in matters pertaining to Human Resources on the University level and above and collaborate effectively with other CUNY-wide Human Resources officials and Confers with College and University Stakeholders to create workforce management plans addressing issues such as succession, recruitment sources, and employee career development.
Serves as a valuable resource at the Central Office, as well as on campus. Participate in small focus groups and works closely with the OHRM team tasked with changing the culture at CUNY. Leveraged her experience and expertise to review and revise existing policies and procedures so that they add value to the workflow. Continue to nurture the relationship with the Central Office. Recommend new and improved measures for performance evaluations.
Serve as a member of the Senior Cabinet
Serve on various university and college committees: HEO Screening, Workplace Violence etc.

This position is in CUNY's Executive Compensation Plan. All executive positions require a minimum of a Bachelor's degree and eight years' related experience.

What You’ll Do:
<ul>
<li>Performs law enforcement duties to ensure airport security in Airfield Operations Area, remote parking lots and extended jurisdictions of airport property.</li>
<li>Patrols airports campus in vehicles or on foot. Checks doors and windows and inspects security doors, gates, and other areas.</li>
<li>Responds to calls for assistance, complaints, suspicious activity, disputes and loud and disruptive behavior.</li>
<li>Responds to TSA screening staff and makes determinations whether to detain or charge suspicious persons. Prepares non-transferrable item reports.</li>
<li>Investigates traffic accidents, issues traffic citations, and directs traffic. Participates in emergency operation activities. Operates radar equipment to apprehend speeders and slow down traffic. Apprehends and processes criminal suspects.</li>
<li>Works with RDU Airport Fire-Rescue and Emergency Medical Technicians to provide medical care or crowd control services to sick or injured patients. Provides a chain of custody if a body needs to be removed from RDU Airport.</li>

Ride-Along Program:
The Raleigh-Durham Airport Authority Law Enforcement Department offers a Ride-Along Program to its applicants. This program allows potential candidates to accompany patrol officers while on duty. The program is an effort to provide a broad scope of police work done at the Raleigh-Durham Airport. The ride-along is for four hours. The RDU Police Officer will share a high-level overview of the department and answer any job-related questions.
