We are looking for a temporary, part-time, Laboratory Support / Courier to support our Tustin and Pomona locations. Candidates must have a personal, registered vehicle and a clean driving record for the past 3 years.
Laboratory Support / Courier is responsible for delivering client sample packages from client sites to Eurofins laboratory locations as well as between Eurofins locations in the larger LA County area.&nbsp; Receiving and login duties include ensuring that all samples are logged in in a timely, efficient and accurate manner.&nbsp; The personnel must maintain an open line of communication with Project Managers, Analysts and other management staff.

The Courier is responsible for the pick-up and delivery of water, soil and air samples to and from the service center and the University Park laboratory using a company vehicle. There are a variety of other duties including helping at the lab with sample login and disposal, preparing bottle kits and cleaning and lifting sample coolers up to 50 lbs.

Job Description 
Logs and tracks the receipt and shipment of all samples and verifies receipt of samples. Assists in preparing bottle kits for&nbsp;delivery to clients and ensures accurate and timely documentation of sample log&nbsp;in, labeling, and routing. Determines the priority level and appropriate testing&nbsp;procedures of samples according to Chain of Custody as well as labels and&nbsp;stores samples in accordance with documented procedures. Additionally, the&nbsp;Sample Control Technician I may be responsible for pick-up and delivery of&nbsp;samples as well as additional customer service, driving, or courier duties as&nbsp;necessary to support laboratory and client needs. Sample Control Technicians&nbsp;will also be responsible for proper disposal of samples and waste in accordance&nbsp;with all applicable procedures.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Receives and unloads incoming samples or consignments in accordance with DOT regulations&nbsp;and verifies receipt against Chain of Custody (COC), matches it to the corresponding quote and&nbsp;notes discrepancies daily. Verifies that COC’s are accurate, complete, and correct and seeks&nbsp;resolution for those that are not.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Logs samples into Lab Management System daily to assign a lot number for tracking purposes&nbsp;and distributes paperwork to Project Managers.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Labels samples so they may be identified by the lot number assigns and delivers samples to&nbsp;appropriate labs for analysis daily.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Prepares bottle kits daily to be shipped to clients to collect samples and return for analysis in&nbsp;accordance with established procedures including EPA and DOT requirements.</li>
<li>Forwards samples to other laboratories in accordance with DOT regulations as needed to run tests&nbsp;that are not performed at that location.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Disposes of spent samples, waste and other potentially hazardous materials in accordance with&nbsp;established procedures.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Monitors freezer and cooler temperatures daily to confirm that the readings are within SOP&nbsp;guidelines.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Cleans and organizes the department daily to promote a clean, safe work environment and&nbsp;smoother flow of daily operations.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Maintains and promotes safety and conducts all operations in a safe and environmentally&nbsp;compliant manner.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Stocks and supplies inventory daily and assists with inventory of supplies to maintain proper&nbsp;quantity of materials to perform tasks appropriately.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Performs splits and composites as needed upon request.&nbsp;</li>

Eurofins Environment Testing is searching for a Sample Control Technician in Tampa, FL.
The Sample Control Technician logs and tracks the receipt and shipment of all samples into and out of the laboratory. They also assist in preparing bottle kits for delivery to clients and ensures accurate and timely documentation of sample log in, labeling, and routing. Determines the priority level and appropriate testing procedures of samples according to Chain of Custody as well as labels and stores samples in accordance with documented procedures. Additionally, the Sample Control Technician I is responsible for pick-up and delivery of samples as well as additional customer service, driving, or courier duties as necessary to support laboratory and client needs. Samples are packed in coolers with ice, so the Technician needs to be able to lift and move the coolers repeatedly - usually 50 lbs. but can be heavier. Driving is also a significant portion of this role.
Sample Control Technician I responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

<li>Receives and unloads incoming samples or consignments in accordance with DOT regulations and verifies receipt against Chain of Custody (COC), matches it to the corresponding quote and notes discrepancies daily. Verifies that COC’s are accurate, complete, and correct and seeks resolution for those that are not.</li>
<li>Logs samples into Lab Management System daily in addition to labeling and cataloging containers.</li>
<li>Prepares sample bottle kits daily for clients</li>
<li>Monitors freezer and cooler temperatures daily to confirm that the readings are within regulatory guidelines.</li>
<li>Cleans and organizes the department daily to promote a clean, safe work environment and smoother flow of daily operations.</li>
<li>Maintains and promotes safety and conducts all operations in a safe and environmentally compliant manner.</li>
<li>Drives a company vehicle to pick up and delivery samples.</li>
<li>Performs Stock and inventory related tasks daily.</li>

The Courier is responsible for the pick-up and delivery of water, bulk, and air samples to and from the laboratory. Maintain the quality, hold time, and turnaround time objectives of the lab. Prepare and deliver orders to clients following the SOP of the lab. Receive and stock all sample control supplies, prepare and ship sample kits and perform sampling events as needed. Dispose of samples and hazardous waste according to guidelines and carry out any other duties assigned by the department manager.
Courier responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

<li>Pick up and deliver samples, orders and report to the laboratory for sign-in and analysis.</li>

Job DescriptionWe are looking for a skilled Pathology Referral Assistant who will performing clerical functions such as data entry and handling patient tissue slides and tissue blocks for a healthcare facility. Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Perform clerical functions including filing, data input, copying, and answering phones as well as delivery of departmental and institutional mail and delivery of pathology materials within the department.</li>
<li>Organizes patient tissue glass slides/paraffin tissue blocks in numerical order for archive and retrieval processes requests for return or retrieval of tissue slides/blocks from warehouse. </li>
<li>Files tissue slides and tissue blocks from completed cases into appropriate file cabinet. Document all receipt or return of materials to warehouse in LIS.</li>
<li>Prepares patient tissue glass slides and paraffin embedded tissue blocks for mailing to outside facilities</li>
<li>Prepare tissue slides and blocks for return by courier, commercial carrier or USPS. </li>
<li>Perform twice daily delivery of packages/envelopes to mailroom and/or commercial carrier drop box. </li>
</ul>
Qualifications and Requirements:

<li>Must have high school diploma or equivalent. </li>
<li>1 year of experience in laboratory acquisitions, experience with patient tissue slides and paraffin tissue blocks. duties</li>
