Export invoices to Excel, apply and edit formulas as needed, convert files to PDF format, and electronically distribute finalized invoices to management and accounting team members. Import/Export Specialist

Job Description
Must have experience with processing Export Shipments and full customs compliance preferably to other countries in North America!!
Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Organize and review the prompt shipment of products and materials, utilizing approved carriers and the most appropriate mode of transport to meet delivery expectations.</li>
<li>Coordinate the import and export of goods, including scheduling shipments, preparing documentation, and ensuring compliance with customs regulations.</li>
<li>Monitor changes in international trade laws and regulations and provide recommendations for compliance.</li>
<li>Gather and analyze logistics data to assess current state and opportunities for future improvements.</li>
<li>Address routine and unexpected disruptions in the supply chain to keep products moving.</li>
<li>Support the timely and accurate movement of materials, components, and finished goods within the warehouse to ensure continuous support of production operations.</li>
<li>Perform duties related to receiving and shipping machines, machine parts, spares, laminate, labels, inks, and other commodities as required.</li>
<li>Maintain and upkeep all respective order and shipment records.</li>
<li>Administer day-to-day department tasks related to planning, shipping, receiving, and compliance.</li>
<li>Prepare and review shipping documents, ensuring accurate classification of goods.</li>
<li>Resolve issues related to customs clearance in a timely and cost-effective manner.</li>
<li>Create and maintain databases and/or spreadsheets with logistics data for reporting and compliance.</li>
<li>Develop and implement logistics KPIs, providing recommendations for process improvements.</li>
<li>Develop, implement, and maintain a customs compliance program.</li>
<li>Manage freight bill payment process, coding, and auditing of shipments.</li>
<li>Oversee the carrier freight claim process to ensure timely submission and completion of all claims.</li>
<li>Prioritize and plan shipments to meet agreed-upon customer ship dates.</li>
<li>Process sales orders and shipping documentation via ERP systems and other associated software.</li>
<li>Communicate regarding shipment issues such as shortages, overages, or damaged goods for resolution.</li>
<li>Act as a backup for the Logistics Manager and support the Logistics Coordinator and/or Logistics Clerk workload as needed.</li>
</ul>
Essential Skills
<ul>
<li>3+ years of experience and knowledge of international import/export practices, including tariff schedules and Harmonized System (HS) codes.</li>
<li>Experience in supply chain or logistics.</li>
<li>Vendor management experience with carriers, forwarders, and 3PLs.</li>
<li>Experience with transactional work in ERP systems.</li>
<li>Experience with continuous improvement and/or project management.</li>
</ul>
Additional Skills &amp; Qualifications
<ul>
<li>Experience with query database functionality (Power BI, SQL).</li>
<li>Bilingual in Spanish.</li>
</ul>
Work Environment
The position is fully on-site with working hours from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The dress code is business casual, with no jeans allowed.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $90000.00/hr.
