Day-to-Day Substitute Nurse

I. I. General Summary Responsible for overall control of safety and health for all plant aspects including, but not limited to, OSHA and state related safety compliance, team member health and wellness, and workers' compensation. Coordinates the planning, organizing, scheduling and implementation of safety policies, programs, and procedures within plant including a safety audit/inspection system. Monitors site condition, practices, and procedures for compliance with health and safety requirements. Selects and implements corrective action and follow-up to ensure proper action has been taken. II. Essential Job Functions: A. Assist management in appropriate loss control and accident prevention measures to comply with TBA and plant mission and objectives. B. Ensure plant compliance with current OSHA and other federal, state, and local agency laws and regulations as they pertain to safety and environmental issues. 1. Act as plant liaison with governmental agencies and serves as the plant representative in case of injuries, inspections, etc. to correct deficiencies and minimize impact on the plant. 2. Act as plant liaison with insurance carriers, third party administrators, parent companies, and professional safety and health providers for audits, training, hygiene sampling, etc. 3. Attend necessary seminars and training to maintain and update skills in industrial safety and federal and state occupational safety and health laws and regulations. C. Develop, implement, and manage safety policies, programs, and procedures that will reduce frequency and severity of personal injuries and illnesses. 1. Develop and implement safety policies and procedures based on program needs, laws and regulations, and TBA/TBJ standards. 2. Assist Group Leaders with the evaluation of safety problems and team members' safety recommendations and complaints. Recommend corrective measures accordingly. 3. Perform periodic safety and compliance audits including identifying and promptly informing management of compliance issues, safety risks, and improvement opportunities. 4. Perform accident investigations and implements countermeasures to prevent reoccurrence. Investigate incidents and unsafe working conditions, compiling statistical data and providing remedial actions to achieve effective accident and loss prevention. 5. Conduct risk assessments related to new equipment introductions and jobs performed (Job Hazard Analysis) including ergonomic evaluations and essential job function investigations to identify and recommend appropriate risk mitigation measures and standards for injury/illness prevention. 6. Coordinate all aspects of industrial hygiene programs by establishing baselines and developing systems that reduce workplace exposures. 7. Administer lockout/tagout, electrical safety, overhead crane safety, hearing protection, respiratory protection, hazard communication, hazardous waste operations (HAZWOPER), blood borne pathogens, emergency response, etc. programs. 8. Influence behavior and inspire commitment on the part of all team members in complying with safety standards and maintaining a safe work environment. D. Serve as plant safety and health coordinator. 1. Serve as principle source of information on safety and health of team members. 2. Coordinate Safety Committee and risk assessment activities. 3. Serve as Workers' Compensation administrator, process claims, and conduct related activities. 4. Maintain protocols with workers' compensation carrier regarding team member appointments, diagnosis, litigation, and injury investigation. 5. Correspond with workers' compensation attorney regarding litigations. 6. Coordinate post accident / injury care of team members. 7. Maintain required paperwork, records, and documentation related to accidents, injuries, and illnesses to comply with OSHA, state, and TBA standards. 8. Maintain safety and first aid supplies. 9. Develop and implement behavior based safety programs and recognition and incentives. 10. Maintains up-to-date information and regulatory postings on bulletin boards throughout the plant. E. Develop and deliver training and coaching for team members, contractors, and others on safety, security, and environmental issues to ensure skills competence, understanding of policies and procedures, and to maintain compliance with corporate, federal, state, and local regulations, directives, standards, policies, and procedures. 1. Develop and deliver safety, health, and environmental orientation to new hires, contractors, and others as required. 2. Conduct annual compliance training. 3. Conduct CPR/AED, first aid, and blood borne pathogen training as required. 4. Create and maintain the Safety Dojo. F. Lead and perform security and disaster protection activities. 1. Create appropriate safety standards, conduct tests/audits of system, coordinate fire/tornado drills, communicate risks/problem areas to management, and implement countermeasures. 2. Administer the fire protection program and system engineering to ensure compliance with fire safety and life safety regulations of local, state and federal jurisdictions. 3. Act as primary technical liaison with companies installing, testing, maintaining, and servicing fire alarm, fire extinguishing, and firefighting systems and equipment. 4. Perform in various roles on emergency response teams including first responder, technician, safety officer, and incident commander. G. Administer the construction safety and security programs for modifications and expansion projects and processes through coordination with TBA Production Engineering and their suppliers and contractors. Includes conducting equipment safety reviews in buy-off procedure. H. Conduct periodic inspections of plant machinery, equipment, and working conditions to ensure conformance to appropriate safety and health standards and regulations. I. Maintain accurate daily, weekly and monthly safety and health metrics reporting to onsite management teams and corporate based reporting systems. J. Lead and manage all ISO14001 and related environmental activities. III. Minimum Qualifications/Requirements: Education: • Bachelor's Degree in Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering or related field required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. • Certification as Occupational Safety and Health Technician (OSHTEC), Associate Safety Professional (ASP), Certified Safety Professional (CSP), or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH). Experience: • Minimum of 4 years diversified experience in safety, loss prevention, emergency response management, consulting, supervision, and administration in a manufacturing environment required (preferably automotive). • Experienced in emergency response and be able to maintain current First Aid and CPR certificates. • Previous exposure to a multicultural office environment preferred. • Toyota Tier 1 or other OEM Tier 1 automotive parts production experience is a plus. Interim Executive Director, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Job Summary
The Purdue University College of Pharmacy is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Professor and Head of the Department of Pharmacy Practice. The Department is composed of dynamic faculty with diverse scholarly and engagement interests that include clinical practice, clinical sciences, public health, and social and administrative sciences.
The Department Head is responsible for implementing a multifaceted mission by direct and collaborative efforts relating to vision and leadership, program administration, personnel development, and scholarly activities that occur on the West Lafayette and Indianapolis campuses. Additionally, programmatic oversight is required for graduate programs, residency and fellowship programs, and international programs in London, Colombia, and Eldoret, Kenya. The latter of which is part of a collaboration with the Indiana University (IU) School of Medicine’s Nobel-prize nominated Academic Model Providing Access to Healthcare (AMPATH) program. The Department Head also is a member of the Dean’s Leadership Team and contributes to the teaching of Doctor of Pharmacy and graduate students.
The Department consists of 20 tenure-track faculty, 25 clinical faculty, along with many adjunct faculty and hundreds of affiliate faculty preceptors. Many practice in specialized areas such as drug information, internal medicine, ambulatory care, cardiology, infectious diseases, women’s health, and nuclear pharmacy. Research initiatives are also highly diverse, with a broad portfolio of funding from federal and state agencies, industry, and foundations.
Within the Department of Pharmacy Practice, two graduate program tracks exist: (a) Health Services Outcomes and Policy and (b) Clinical Pharmaceutical Sciences, the latter of which operates in close collaboration with the Division of Clinical Pharmacology at the Indiana University (IU) School of Medicine. The Department also offers several PGY1 and PGY2 residency programs and many fellowship programs in collaboration with pharmaceutical industry sponsors and the FDA. Additional centers and programs within the Department include Rx-SafeNet (a pharmacy practice-based research network), the oldest and largest nuclear pharmacy training program in the country, and an endowed Center for Health Equity and Innovation. Beyond the Department, long-term partnerships and collaborations exist with the Regenstrief Institute for Health Care, the Indiana University Schools of Medicine and Public Health, Eskenazi Health, IU Health, and other health systems across Indiana.
The College is seeking candidates who possess a Doctor of Pharmacy, PhD in Pharmacy, and/or other related doctoral degree and have a solid record of: (a) a vibrant and funded scholarly research program, (b) effective leadership in areas related to the practice of pharmacy, and (c) excellence in teaching. Department Head, Pharmacy Practice

The Chief of Endocrinology will provide strategic leadership and direction for all aspects of the&nbsp;Division. The Chief of Endocrinology will also play a prominent role in&nbsp;the establishment of a Diabetes Research Center with the support of an ongoing University of&nbsp;Arizona (UA) capital campaign and the continued development of an NIH - T32 training program in&nbsp;diabetes, endocrine, and metabolism.

The University of Rochester seeks an experienced, strategic, and collaborative leader to serve as its next Associate Vice President for Human Subject Protection (AVP-HSP).&nbsp; Reporting to the University’s Vice President for Research, the Associate Vice President is responsible for the staff, resources, systems, and policies that enable research involving human subjects, sustaining safety and compliance while advancing knowledge.
Key functions of the Office of Human Subject Projection (OHSP) under the AVP-HSP’s responsibility include <a href="https://www.rochester.edu/ohsp/rsrb/index.html" target="_blank">Research Subject Review Board</a> (RSRB), <a href="https://www.rochester.edu/ohsp/education/index.html" target="_blank">Research Education and Training</a>, and <a href="https://www.rochester.edu/ohsp/quality/index.html" target="_blank">Research Quality Improvement</a>. At any given time, there are more than 2,000 active research studies being conducted by approximately 3,000 investigators, across more than 100 departments, centers, and labs at the University and University of Rochester Medical Center. The AVP-HSP must be forward-thinking and proactive in considering the impact that evolving regulations and external factors may have on University-wide research plans, programs, and operations. They are the University leader in human subject-research risk-assessment and risk-mitigation discussions.
As OHSP is a University-wide resource, the AVP-HSP collaborates with research deans across the University as well as the Office of Research and Project Administration, the Office for Clinical Research, the Clinical and Translational Science Institute, and the Office of General Counsel. Alongside research deans from each school and key members of the Office of the Vice President for Research, the AVP-HSP is a member of the University’s Research Executive Committee. Rochester’s human-subject protection program has been AAHRPP-accredited since 2004.
The AVP-HSP must be a highly visible member of the University community and continuously engaged with University stakeholders, communicating and demonstrating OHSP’s commitment to being a collaborative partner with departments and divisions across the institution. The AVP-HSP ensures that the 14-member OHSP team is likewise knowledgeable, skilled, trained, and engaged in serving the good of the broader University community in thoughtful, thorough, and objective engagements.
The AVP will have well-developed and tested leadership and collaboration qualities, extensive research compliance expertise, and experience working with clinical, translational, and behavioral researchers. They will have the highest level of integrity and will demonstrate a track record of developing, mentoring, and supporting diverse and high-functioning teams.
Viable candidates will have at least 10 years of directly relevant experience, including in positions in which they had supervisory responsibility. If they are not coming from a peer academic or medical institution, they will demonstrate the ability to learn quickly and will have relevant research leadership experience with large, matrixed, and highly complicated organizations. A bachelor’s degree is required; a master’s degree in a field that entails working with human subjects and Certified IRB Professional designation are preferred.

About the Positions
To meet areas of university strategic growth in global graduate education and impact, New hires will join an excellent, experienced and dynamic faculty and staff highly committed to exceptional education and student experience, the School for Professional Studies at Saint Louis University is seeking multiple, full-time faculty in the areas of information systems, cybersecurity, analytics, research methods and related disciplines.
All are open-rank, non-tenure track full-time faculty positions, with a nine-month contract running from August to May (renewed annually, with multi-year contracts possible after the first year). Candidates will teach up to seven graduate-level courses during the daytime with the bulk of the teaching occurring on campus. However, there is the possibility to teach select online sections if need dictates. There are also potential summer, flexible, online teaching opportunities.
