We use an outsourced RCM vendor, but need additional oversight which may include focusing on&nbsp;accurate claims submissions and appeals submissions&nbsp;from all payers including Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance plans. Job Responsibilities Reporting to the Manager Reimbursement and Appeals, you will be supporting the Reimbursement department. This position is remote. Duties may include:

<li>Confirming patient insurance coverage and benefits by contacting insurance companies or using electronic verification tools.</li>
<li>Accurately inputting patient and insurance information into billing systems and insurance billing tools (such as web-based portals).</li>
<li>Obtain Medical Records for priority payors if not received with order</li>
<li>Interact with various internal teams, healthcare providers, insurance companies, and patients to gather necessary information for accurate claim submissions.</li>
<li>Identify and recommend solutions for addressing delays in front end activities.</li>

Qualifications
<ul>
<li>Minimum of 4+ years specializing in reimbursement/revenue cycle management at a diagnostics company or laboratory or working for a commercial payer.</li>
<li>College degree or 4 years of equivalent experience.</li>
<li>Experience with Xifin, Quadax, or Telcor preferred.</li>
<li>Must possess detailed knowledge of all medical benefit levels and have a thorough understanding of Federal, State, PPO, HMO, and Indemnity Plans structures.</li>
<li>Working knowledge of appropriate coding systems; CPT, ICD-9 and HCPCS, coverage; LCD/NCD and reimbursement associated with such codes.</li>

SUMMARY 
Under the direction of the Re-entry Program Manager, the Re-entry Coordinator will work with a team of staff and key partners to assist adult jobseekers within vulnerable populations (e.g. veterans, disabled, re-entry, homeless) to develop job-readiness soft skills and enter industry-training leading to living-wage careers. The Re-entry Coordinator will be responsible for recruiting, enrolling, coaching, and connecting jobseekers to career training and further placement support services. The Re-entry Coordinator will also provide one-on-one supportive services to individuals who are preparing to join the workforce as Substance Abuse Counselors and/or in need of academic assistance. The Re-entry Coordinator will assess basic needs, identify barriers to employment, develop an Individual Service Plan to address those barriers, and coordinate services, and provide participants with support in maintaining their employment. They will execute a coordinated, client training partner focused approach within the Integrated Service Delivery (ISD) model that positively impacts the jobseeker, partner, organization, and community at-large. The Re-entry Coordinator will track and document all services provided as well as progress towards all grant outcomes. They will work with various partners supporting justice-involved individuals to coordinate and collaborate on referrals, service delivery, case conferencing, and other program implementation elements as needed. They will coordinate and collaborate with all WDD staff, other departments within CRCD, and outside partners to ensure effective and streamlined services and delivery. They will also enter, organize, and maintain accurate data, reporting, and maintain files for all participants to successfully meet all grant outcomes. They will also support the organization’s 5-year strategic plan and work closely with management to ensure alignment and consistent progress towards those goals.
· 60% of time will be providing career development services including but not limited to recruitment, enrollment, soft skills development, and coordination into job-training. 
· 35% of efforts will be dedicated to entering, organizing, and maintaining accurate data, reporting, and main files for all participants aligned and leading towards successful grant outcomes, including administrative and compliance responsibilities. 
· 5% of time will support management and the entire WDD team with assessment, planning, and improvement of the service delivery model and its execution. 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES 
• Utilize various recruitment strategies, including social media and virtual platforms, to engage the community, partners, and other CRCD departments to recruit and enroll adult jobseekers within various vulnerable populations (e.g., veterans, re-entry, disabled, homeless) into WorkSource Center services. 
• Understand the eligibility requirements, service delivery components and outcomes of multiple grants assigned to and serve a caseload of participants across these grants. 
• Serve a caseload of approximately 100+ adult jobseekers with assessment of grant eligibility and enrollment; skills assessments and review of career options; Individual Employment Plans (IEP’s); and soft skills training 
and career coaching leading to relevant industry training. 
• Prepare supportive services documentation for participants to address barriers to employment and participation in program activities. 
• Enter all eligible participants and record service entries and case notes in various databases including CalJOBS and Salesforce in a timely manner. 
• Maintain partnerships to support the Substance Abuse Disorder Career Training Academy including ELACC, Cuesta College, and Amity Foundation including attendance in required partner meetings. 
• Provide orientations and career pathway information to interested community members including those with lived experience, prospective students, and incumbent staff. 
• Enroll individuals as participants into WIOA, City General Funds, or Hire LA Funds. Individuals will also be co-enrolled as community college students in one of the participating colleges. 
• Assist all participants to be enrolled as part-time or full-time community college students. Prospective students will receive intensive assistance in the college enrollment and financial aid processes. Re-Entry Coordinator will work in partnership with local college support services to ensure the submission of all required forms and documentation. 
• Coordinate field work experience with subsidized employment or unsubsidized employment with identified employers. Incumbent workers will not have subsidized employment. 
• Provide On-going Personal/Professional Development – During the 18-month academy program, participants will be able to participate in personal/professional development classes emphasizing working with formerly incarcerated individuals, trauma informed care, and other classes. 
• Contact, receive, and review referrals to Workforce Program from local schools, community-based organizations, and government agencies, including walk-ins. 
• Facilitate program information sessions and orientation. 
• Assist with facilitation of the program’s employment readiness, leadership, and life skills workshops. 
• Track participant hours and attendance to meet the performance goal associated with the grant deliverables. • Coordinate work sites for participants to complete work experience hours. • Conduct work site walk-through and training for all work site supervisors. 
• Collect, review, and submit participant timecards for completion and accuracy. 
• Pick up and distribute participant paychecks in accordance with the approved payroll schedule.

Requirements:
REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS
• 1-2 years’ experience or related work and/or BA Degree 
• Familiarity with the re-entry population is a plus. 
• Knowledge of database management and quality control process 
• Reliable, flexible team player who works well with minimal supervision, who has a good work ethic, and an ability to set and maintain personal boundaries. 
• Demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, and to meet deadlines. 
• Demonstrated knowledge of community resources • Reliable transportation: valid driver's license, and car insurance as required by law, as appropriate. 
• Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics 
• Working knowledge of MS Office
• Multi-disciplined Digital Media Specialist with Front-end web Developer experience 
• Outstanding organizational skills 
• Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills 
• Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving
SALARY 
$55,000.00 - $60,000.00 annually
