The Foreclosure Specialist will be responsible for coordinating foreclosure activities and processes with attorneys and other departments within the Firm as necessary during the foreclosure process. They will ensure that actions are properly documented and recorded while maintaining and adhering to the foreclosure timeline.
 
 
Requirements:

<li>Maintain an assigned a portfolio of loans that are in foreclosure to ensure that the loans are properly and timely processed</li>
<li>Able to properly document the case management system with the progress and/or current status of the file</li>

GENERAL DESCRIPTION: 
The purpose of this position is to perform a variety of routine and complex administrative/clerical support assignments for the Clerk of Court operations.

· Collects Public Defender Application fees for Circuit, Family, and Juvenile Courts.
· Works with other governmental agencies needing assistance with record searches and provides information, as necessary.
· Explains and answers general questions about how court works. Provides information about where to find self-help resources and telephone numbers for agencies offering legal services and information.
· Additional duties include general clerical work as required, including but not limited to data entry, copying, scanning, filing, sending and receiving faxes, emails and other correspondence as well as processing daily mail, answering telephones, greeting and assisting customers.
· Assists surety bondsmen with registration of Bond Licenses and off bond motions/affidavits.
· Coordinates the Setoff Debt Collection Program, including generating and mailing notification letters, fielding debtor questions, setting up payment schedules, and scheduling dispute hearings.
· Manages foreclosure cases from e-filing to post-sale documents and surplus funds.
· Notarizes documents for the Clerk of Court and assists with the registration of Notary Public Commissions.
· Performs other related duties as assigned.

This role helps to maintain a financially sound portfolio through early intervention and advanced collections practices including phone calls, collection letters and in person interviews. Specific duties include:

<li>Responsible for collections and recovery of delinquent accounts greater than 16 days past due, including advanced collections. Works from and manages a work queue and performs various tasks to collect funds and property from members who are past due. Includes placing and receiving calls, sending follow up letters, and advanced communications during various stage of delinquency. Works with the member to determine the reason for delinquency and how to best assist. Determines if a loan modification may be appropriate and explores options with the member and sends appropriate agreement for modification. <li>Maintains and files copies of all communications and updates system notes. Adds systems warnings and lockouts for past due and charged off accounts. <li>Responsible for all processes associated with and manages past due, repossessed, vacant, foreclosed, estate and OREO properties. MWC is a high volume, fast-paced, multi-office law firm representing Mortgage Lenders, Banks and Financial Institutions in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, DC, Virginia and Florida through the Foreclosure and Bankruptcy legal process
The Billing Clerk is responsible for the preparation and submission of invoices pertaining to default related legal services utilizing various client portals and responding to client inquiries regarding submitted invoices.
Key responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Process interim, milestone, monthly, hold, and closed billing requests in accordance with client requirements</li>
<li>Confirm required documentation in support of all line items is included</li>
<li>Upload/submit invoices to the appropriate client portals timely</li>
<li>Email invoices for clients not utilizing a billing portal</li>
<li>Litigation, Bankruptcy, Eviction, Senior lien monitoring and Deed-in-Lieu billing</li>
<li>Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding invoices in a timely manner</li>
<li>Analyze client resolution/disputes</li>
</ul>
Education &amp; Experience:
<ul>
<li>Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.</li>
<li>Minimum of 1 year of experience in foreclosure industry</li>
<li>Familiarity with LoanSphere Invoice Management system; Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook; Adobe Acrobat</li>
