Position Summary The Leaves Operations Specialist reports to the Associate Director of Benefits and serves as a key member of the medical leaves department within University Human Resources. This role serves as the point of contact for the execution and review of medical leave transactions and processes and will work directly with employees, unit administrators and the payroll department. The Leaves Operations Specialist position requires the ability to create, maintain, and clearly communicate efficient processes, including the best practices for leaves transactions. Responsibilities will include conducting and compiling research, preparing reports or correspondence, compiling data and completing reviews, updating resources, and other related tasks as needed. This position may perform functions of other leaves team members as a backup. This position assists and acts in a confidential capacity to the Associate Director of Benefits and leaves staff. The position is based in Eugene with some level of flexibility, including the option to work remotely with frequent commuting to campus. All adjusted work arrangements require supervisor and leadership approval. Minimum Requirements 
<li> Two years' experience in leaves administration, human resources, or equivalent combination of education and experience. </li>

Key Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

Key Responsibilities:
