• Prepare patient(s) for and assist with examination and/or treatment

Duties &amp; Responsibilities:
Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)/Paramedic Instructor will provide classroom and field instruction to enhance the response in Emergency Medical Care and trauma situations for all military members. All services shall be provided in accordance with established certifications, standards, principles and ethics of the profession and applicable professional specialty organizations including the following: the Joint Commission standards, applicable Department of Defense (DoD) Defense Health Agency (DHA), National Association of Emergency Medical Technician (NAEMT), military specific regulations, directives, and policies, and Medical Training Facility (MTF) specific policies and procedures.
<ul>
<li>The courses will be held 3 weeks a month, with a one-week break for manikin maintenance, supplies, environment review of the grounds and administrative duties.</li>
<li>Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)/Paramedic Instructor shall provide in classroom and field - education and training to prepare students to assess, advise, and react, effectively during emergency and/or trauma situations. Curriculum for EMT's and LVN, will be provided by the government. </li>

<li>Provide safe training environment - identify, track and report all safety hazards within the field training area. </li>

<li>Three years of experience in the last 5 years as a First Responder or Emergency Department.</li>
<li>Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)/Paramedic Instructor shall possess and maintain unrestricted license to practice as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) in Texas. </li>
<li>Must be able to lift 40 lbs and walk up to 200 yards without assistance. </li>

<li>High school diploma or equivalent to including graduate equivalent of a recognized educational nursing program with state requirements &nbsp;</li>
<li>Currently licensed or certified in the state where responsibilities will be assigned: EMT-Paramedic &nbsp;</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and AED certification &nbsp;</li>
<li>Fulfill state requirements (in state of licensure) for basic IV therapy &nbsp;</li>
<li>Satisfactorily complete the FDA approved training requirements for BioLife Medical Support Specialist &nbsp;</li>
<li>Two years in a clinical or hospital setting &nbsp;</li>

U.S. Hourly Wage Range:
$22.69 - $31.20
 The estimated hourly wage range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual hourly wage offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. &nbsp;The actual hourly wage offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.&nbsp;
U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term incentives.
