RSA- Shipping and Receiving Clerk Hazmat High
 The Rail Support Activity (RSA) Shipping and Receiving Clerk HAZMAT performs tasks under the RSA Lead / ITDSA Supervisor such as maintaining records, preparing correspondence and generating reports for appropriate agencies. Personnel will stage military equipment in the rail yard, validate load plans, submit rail car requests, verify and scan military shipping labels to generate Commercial Bills of Lading (CBL) in the Cargo Movement Operating System (CMOS). Verifies all hazmat documentation prior to movement. Attends the daily Rail Conference Call with SDDC as needed.
GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONDSIBLITIES:

<li>Verify DD Form 2890 Hazmat Declaration for accuracy.</li>
<li>Assist or build Rail Load Plans from OELS or UDLs as required.</li>
<li>Process DD Form 1085 and validates Rail Load Plans prior to submitting to SDDC.</li>
<li>Generate Commercial Bill of Ladings (CBLs)</li>
<li>Complete daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reports.</li>
<li>Act as a Safety Officer throughout the entire operation.</li>

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

<li>One (1) year of documented experience in the Transportation field.</li>
<li>Must be able to obtain AMMO 62 certification.</li>
<li>Knowledge of DOD Regulation 4500.9-R Department of Defense Regulation.</li>

The Shipping clerk, under the direction of the Materials Manager, packs and prepares customer orders for shipping, receives materials and equipment, and loads and unloads trucks according to established procedures and shipping regulations, meeting customer delivery requirements.
 
MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Pick orders from stock or from the staging area.
2. Prepare product for shipping to customers.
3. Ensure customer order and product match; box, crate, shrink-wrap as necessary.
4. Contact common carriers and schedule pick-ups, ensuring the meeting of customer delivery requirements.
5. Load trucks with outgoing products and unload trucks with incoming materials.
6. Inspect materials and ensure bills of lading are correct.
7. Verify the quantity and quality of material received.

Required:
