In this role, you will participate in design validation, including pilot plant equipment and laboratory testing, and develop process improvement strategies based on laboratory data.
Responsibilities

<li>Interface with customers to understand project needs and develop a scope of work.</li>
<li>Collaborate with team members to develop technical solutions for customer issues.</li>
<li>Design pilot plant test plans and develop processing equipment.</li>
<li>Work with pilot plant technicians and chemists to perform system testing.</li>
<li>Conduct heat and mass balance, hydraulic calculations, and determine optimal equipment.</li>
<li>Interpret technical data for proposals and cost estimation.</li>
<li>Manage projects from initiation to completion, including vendor negotiations and equipment procurement.</li>
<li>Prepare material cost estimates for thermal systems.</li>
<li>Provide technical support and information throughout the project life cycle.</li>

Essential Skills

<li>Proficiency in chemical engineering.</li>
<li>Experience with heat mass balance (HMB) and piping and instrument diagrams (P&amp;ID).</li>
<li>Experience in high volume liquid throughput processes.</li>
<li>Knowledge of evaporator, crystallizer, ion exchange, membrane exchange, membrane filtration, desalination, and zero liquid discharge systems.</li>
</ul>
Additional Skills &amp; Qualifications

<li>Strong understanding of turbines, pumps, and flow rates.</li>
<li>Experience working in a similar R&amp;D environment.</li>

Work Environment
You will work on-site daily at our R&amp;D facility, engaging with customers, vendors, engineers, chemists, and lab technicians. You will be part of a dynamic team, collaborating across all levels of the organization. The role offers a flexible Monday through Friday schedule, typically starting between 7 a.m. and 8 a.m., with a 40 to 45-hour workweek. Occasionally, additional hours may be required to meet project deadlines or address urgent issues.

JOB DESCRIPTION/DUTIES:

<li>Perform Research, Development, Test, and Evaluation (RDT&amp;E), as well as manufacturing support, for energetic formulations and energetic subsystems.</li>

At least three (3) years of experience in the following:
