Job Summary
Responsible for all clinical operations of the ASC, or of the Center as a whole, as defined by the Administrator. Ensures that patients receive high-quality care in accordance with provider’s orders. Runs an efficient, smoothly functioning operation that also produces high-quality documentation as required to meet medical necessity. 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Direct, staff, train, plan, organize, and delegate all the clinical services provided in the ASC (and in the clinic if directed by the Administrator) daily.
·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Develop, review and revise standard operating procedures in all aspects of ASC’s operations in accordance with RSPS policies and procedures.

·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Set an example for the ASC team by demonstrating concern for patient welfare to patients and their families.

We are a 56-bed facility between skilled care and long-term care located in the charming small town of Edgewood, Iowa. Our town is mostly known for the Rodeo Days! We are small but we are mighty and work together to achieve great things. Our census runs between 75 – 80%. We are locally owned by a group of people interested in provide the best care to our elderly population. Our facility has been in business for 64 years!!
We do our best to make work fun by celebrating Nurses Week, C.N.A. Week and pretty much any holiday we can and when we are without a holiday, we come up with different ways to have a relaxed and healthy environment at work, such as celebrating anniversaries, having potlucks and other fun activities!

Job Description
The primary purpose of your job position is to provide direct nursing care to the residents, and to supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants. Such supervision must be in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern our facility, and as may be required by the Director of Nursing Services or Nurse Supervisor to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.
Shift: 7-3&nbsp;
· &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Verify the identity of the resident before administering the medication/treatment.
· &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Participate in employee performance evaluations, determining your shift's staffing requirements, and making recommendations to the Nurse Supervisor concerning employee dismissals, transfers, etc.
· &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Greet newly admitted residents upon admission. Escort them to their rooms as necessary.
Participate in the orientation of new residents/family members to the facility. Participate in developing, planning, conducting, and scheduling in-service training classes that provide instructions on "how to do the job," and ensure a well-educated nursing service department.
