Job Responsibilities:

<li>Continuously monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms on telemetry monitors, identifying and reporting any abnormalities or changes (e.g., arrhythmias, ischemia, heart block).</li>
<li>Assess for signs and symptoms of cardiac compromise, fluid overload, electrolyte imbalances, and medication side effects.</li>
<li>Monitor vital signs (heart rate, blood pressure, respiratory rate, oxygen saturation, temperature) and hemodynamic parameters.</li>
<li>Communicate effectively with physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, other nurses, and ancillary staff regarding patient status, changes, and concerns.</li>
<li>Educate patients and families on their specific cardiac condition, disease process, and treatment plan.</li>
