Role Description
Bakery Clerks label, stock and merchandise prepared baked goods and bread. This role includes ordering products for optimal sales and minimum shrink and participating in the clean-up, set-up and closing tasks as necessary for the store’s upkeep. 
Required Skills/Abilities:

<li>Reworks product displays to assess order quantities and rotates product.</li>
<li>Determines merchandising plan, product selection, and order quantities to optimize sales.</li>
<li>Labels product with expiration dates according to manufacturer and company guidelines.</li>
<li>Determines product quality for mark downs and culling to optimize quality and minimize shrink.</li>
<li>Stores and rotates stock.</li>
<li>Packages, wraps, weighs, and labels product for sale according to company and regulatory agency guidelines.</li>
<li>Follows safety and security procedures.</li>
<li>Provides prompt and courteous customer service, including special orders and customer requests.</li>
<li>Operate manual pallet jack, wheeled carts, trash compactor, cardboard baler, product marking gun, shrink wrap machine, scale, wrench, screwdriver, pliers, box knife, and fax machine.</li>
<li>Occasionally operate cash register, handheld scanners, computer, phone, printer.</li>
</ul>
Experience/Education:
